Small place with a super tight master bedroom

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Master bedroom fan was almost falling out of the ceiling. We had to shut it off for the nights . Not even enough room to open the suitcase in the room. Guest bed was like sleeping on couch springs. Sleeping in this place was not the best.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, particularly regarding the sleeping arrangements and bedroom space. We do want to note that we were not contacted during your stay regarding the ceiling fan, mattress, or any other concerns mentioned in your review. Had we been made aware of the fan issue, we would have been happy to have it inspected promptly to ensure it was safe and functioning properly. Likewise, we welcome the opportunity to address any maintenance or comfort concerns while our guests are in-house whenever possible. We understand that comfort and a good night’s sleep are important, and we appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention so they can be reviewed.

This condo has a great location. You can walk off the back porch and you are just a few steps from the pool. Baytown Wharf was full of activity. The golf cart was very convenient to get to and from the beach. Make note, however, that because you have a golf cart, you do NOT have any shuttle privileges. That was a little problematic for us since we had plans to enjoy the resort separately. Overall, I'd book it again, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was a very nice unit. It was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. It was very convenient to walk out the door and the pool and fitness center were just a few steps away. The batteries needed to be replaced in the smoke detectors and someone was sent out to fix it promptly. It was a bonus to have a golf cart. We even drove it to Grand Blvd shopping center and Publix and didnt have to drive our vehicle any.

Great Location!!

The location of this condo it’s great. You’re literally staying at the village, which is typically called a strip with all the shops and little restaurants are and you’re a golf cart ride from the beach and the local grocery store. Once you park your vehicle you will not have to move again. This is a great location And the condo is right by the pool.

Great Getaway, super cute unit, very responsive host!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay at the resort several times a year, this unit was perfect for just my daughter and I. Walks out to the pool, located right on Baytowne, and minimal hall noise compared to other buildings we have stayed in. Golf cart is always hand to have! Host was very responsive with the couple of questions we had!

Every night, the smoke detector beeped all night. Would love to go back to this place, if the smoke detector can be fixed and not beep. Other people also complained about this in their reviews. Could you please fix the smoke detector? We were not able to sleep because it kept beeping. Other than that, lovely place overall and great golf cart. Thank you.

Thank you very much for your feedback, Summer. We have staff available seven days a week to address any issues that may arise during your stay. We would have appreciated the opportunity to resolve this matter immediately, rather than learning about it after your departure. Please note that all battery-powered smoke detectors in the condo have now been replaced. Your experience was the second instance involving a different smoke detector, which prompted us to proactively replace them all to prevent any future issues.

Location Perfect!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Comfortable retreat with easy access to the pool, village restaurants, and private parking garage. As with any rental, we noticed a few maintenance issues, that if were a primary home, would be unacceptable, but as a short term vacation rental, easy to deal with. The maintenance issue I would suggest making a priority is the clothes dryer. There is definitely something broken with it’s ability to produce heat. As for the subject of cleanliness...I would say it is one of the best experiences we have had in a rental. Everything was immaculate and the welcome music and info gift set were a great touch. The no contact check-in was simple as well with the use of the app provided. We will recommend this property to our friends.

Time to reconsider Baytowne

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed at 308 Pilothouse somewhere b/w 5-10x over years and several other places at BTW. The experience is losing its charm. The dog poop on the patio wasn't expected. We miss the sectional couch and don't care for the smaller couch and two uncomfortable chairs - but i'm not the owner, so ok. The neighbor smoking on the patio and smell of marijuana from other neighbors doesn't add to a good time. Check the smoke detector for old battery, b/c it beeped all night. I think BTW is on the decline. The whole place isn't what it used to be. We will consider a different condo/community next summer. The golf cart was a great update, thanks for that.

Great location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the perfect location for us! We loved having access to the pool area right from our patio, and the unit was so close to the stairs / elevator leading down to the parking garage. I would suggest having the cleaning service clean ALL of the pillows on the bed. You know the ones that no one really "uses," they are just for decoration? Well one of them had something on it...not sure exactly what it was, but one can only image what all it could be...The only other suggestion would be to fix the toilet handle...you have to hold it down until it completely finishes flushing. There's nothing wrong with the toilet, just gets old having to stand there and hold down the handle. Other than those two suggestions for changes, we would most definitely recommend the condo to others! And would stay it in again in a heartbeat.
