Perfect cozy home

Girls getaway weekend and this house was great! The couch is super comfy. The game loft is amazing and fun. Any issues were addressed and communication with the owner was fantastic. Water pressure in shower wasn’t optimal but that didn’t ruin out great time! Would definitely stay here again

Cozy home with responsive owner

My husband and I and two other couples spent a relaxing, snowy weekend in this cozy home. The king and two queen bedrooms were perfect for our group with room to spare. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, despite the bitter cold.The house stayed toasty with the fireplace and all of the split units.Devon was quick to reply when I asked him for a snow shovel. He walked us through instructions on how to get the shovel that was in the locked shed.We would definitely stay here again.

White Christmas in peace!

We had a lovely stay. We celebrated the holiday in peace with just immediate family (& adult daughter’s boyfriends). We spent the other days skiing and tubing at local mountain. The hot tub was a hit after using muscles on the slopes we don’t always use. Shopping was close enough for a few things we left behind and the neighborhood was absolutely lovely for walking our 4 legged family members.Devon & Tony were impeccable about communication & never felt that they were not available and ready with answers. This is definitely a home we would revisit as it met all of our needs!

Good neighborhood, nice house

The house was good! Love that it is dog-friendly. Overall 4 stars, would recommend for a ski house close to mountains. A couple things were visibly dirty but nothing we couldn't wipe down or wash. Game room was awesome and fully stocked kitchen. Hot tub seemed dirty so we didn't use, could've just needed a refresh from last tenet. Owners responsive and easy check in. Thanks Devon!

Beautiful stay

We had an amazing time for our brief, long weekend at the chalet! It was a beautiful property with a well stocked kitchen and a great location. I would definitely come back and recommend to others!

Fabulous Thanksgiving Week Family Getaway

Our family spent Thanksgiving week at the Trailside Chalet. The hosts were easy to communicate with & responded quickly to questions or concerns. The chalet was impeccably decorated & immaculately clean. The home is comfortable & accommodating for a family. Being pet friendly meant our two dogs could come along for the trip. The beds were comfortable & the kitchen is well stocked for meal preparation. The game room & hot tub were great for family enjoyment. Unfortunately the sauna was out of order but the hosts alerted us ahead of time & compensated us accordingly. The neighborhood is private & the home is conveniently located for hiking, shopping, & wine tasting. We will be back again to enjoy Trailside Chalet again.Thank you.

Yes, it was a perfect Pocono retreat!

We had a great, relaxing weekend (too short though). The house was a very comfortable fit for the 6 of us with the 3 bedrooms and loft space. Very clean and spacious. The hot tub, sauna, and community amenities (pool, lake, tennis) definitely came in handy. Strongly recommend.

Fun little escape

Property was well located and clean. Perfect for me and the fam (kids included). Devon was a pleasure to work with and extreme communicative and informative. The lake and pool were close by and the kiddos LOVED it! My only “complaint” is no vacuum. Would’ve loved to be able to leave the place a bit tidier in that sense- but overall great experience. :)

Mother daughter weekend

We had a wonderful stay. The house was comfortable and clean. Could use better glassware, but that is a minor complaint. Also, the trash situation was a little confusing.

Winter Jaunt

Communication was simple, anytime we had to reach out with a question there was a quick response. The house was beautifully decorated & was spotless, perfectly clean! The winter activities we had planned were all a 20-30 min drive from the rental. The hot tub was enjoyed by all!

Wonderful Getaway

Girls' Getaway

We had a great time during our stay. Devon was easy to communicate with and was very quick with her responses. The house is beautifully decorated and having linens, etc. provided was nice. The hot tub was quite relaxing after a day of exploring the area. We didn't get a chance to try the sauna. Just a few thoughts--It was difficult to get up to the first step to the entrance of the deck without a handrail, especially if carrying luggage, etc. (for us older travelers at least) and a hook(s) near the downstairs shower for hanging your towels would be convenient. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Devon.

The space was perfect for our trip!

The space was perfect for our needs - we were a half hour away from major trails and mountains and the kids had a great time playing with the bonus arcade games that were available ! Devon was really responsive about any questions we had and resolved everything quickly when we needed extra towels and couldn’t find the car passes . So glad we booked this space !

The house was spotless. Furniture and mattress seemed to be brand new. Any issue was immediately resolved by the extremely helpful staff. The only thing I would say is the kitchen is not fully stocked. Yes basic pots and pans but that’s it. Maybe leaving more towels dish towels and even simple things on a honor system to replace what you use such as tin foil laundry soap cut. However it is clearly stated that the home only supplies a basic starter kit. So pack accordingly to your needs. If you like to cook bring supplies from home. Really the home was phenomenal and I would 100 stay again

Relaxed vibe, could use finishing touches

This house was a lovely stay for a group of 5 women having a weekend away. The house was clean, kitchen was well stocked, and Devon was easy to communicate with. However the house could use some upgrades and modernization. The mattresses could use to be replaced, the house needs more rugs and runners (ie there were no bath mats and we kept tracking snow and dirt in the house due to only having one teeny tiny little doormat when a huge one for the open foyer is what is called for!), the upstairs shower makes an ear splitting shrieking sound when in use, and most flummoxing of all - the hot tub is right outside the front door but for some reason the deck railing blocks the hot tub and you are forced to walk in your slippers and robe through snow and ice to walk alll the way around the deck to get to the hot tub. This would be such a simple little fix that would add lots of value to this property. Overall, the area was lovely and serene and we had no issues with the house or the owner during our visit. These little fixes would just elevate the property!

A Wonderful Weekend Getaway!

We had a wonderful weekend up the mountains and even saw a little bit of snow! From the check-in process to arrival, everything went so smoothly. The house was spotless and very relaxing. We managed to spend some nice time in the hot tub and also took in a few movies and it turned competitive playing Golden Tee! All in all, a great house and a great weekend!

Amazing getaway!

Tony and Devon were great hosts. They responded to messages quickly. The house had everything we needed, including towels, linens, fully stocked kitchen, even hand soap, dish soap, paper towels, and trash bags. So convenient when you're only staying for 2 nights and you don't need to lug all that extra stuff with you. The house was beautifully decorated and the couches were so comfortable. The hot tub was an added bonus that we really enjoyed. We were conveniently located between Lake Harmony and Jim Thorpe and Hawk Falls. Highly recommend staying here.

Relaxing weekend

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend. House was very clean, very nice neighborhood, arcade games were a hit. We were disappointed that we couldn’t rent boats due to the lack of staff but overall we had an excellent time.

Great House

The house was in mint condition. The beds were comfortable. The heating and air worked great. The hot tub was very refreshing after playing golf. My only complaint was I could not find were the trash compactor was located. I only had one bag of garbage just kept it in the back of the pick up truck and discarded when I got home. I would definitely rent again.
