The home was a unique vintage property with a lot of charm. The neighborhood was nice and safe and the property owner was very accessible and responsive. The check in process was super easy, my family really enjoyed the property

House was just as advertised, it was clean, comfortable & convienant to nice restaurants & shops in Old Cloverdale ,as well as downtown Montgomery.Our host Scott was attentive & accommodating. We would stay there again & recommend it to other travelers ,friends & family .

What a unique and inviting home! We enjoyed our stay immensely and found the home to be inviting, relaxing and perfect for our family's needs! Each room had a theme and the artwork was something everyone appreciated! The bookshelf contained an amazing collection of items and books that were intriguing for all ages. The floor plan was delightful and accommodated our large family easily. The beds slept comfortably and we enjoyed cooking together in the kitchen. The neighborhood is in a great area, both for historical architecture and fun restaurants and shops. We loved walking in the neighborhood! Scott was very responsive and extremely helpful. Such a memorable stay! Sincerely wish there were more homes (and hosts) like this on VRBO!

we spent 4 nights at this house and just loved it! There were 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 teens. lots of room, very clean, warm and quirky house that had everything we needed.

Scott was a great host! He was very accommodating. The house was perfect for stay, had plenty of room, was clean, and had all that we needed! Would definitely stay again.

There are PROS to this rental: it is convenient to all of Montgomery, the price is reasonable, the host is very communicative, the A/C works great and it is well stocked for towels/linens/papertowels.There are CONS to this rental: it is quite old and in need of renovation, especially the bathrooms. There is a musty smell throughout the house which improves with running the A/C but is always there.

Such a cute house! Loved the extra touches like night lights and cords for charging! The hardwood floors are beautiful! It’s dated but clean and spacious with very interesting décor. Beds were comfortable. Liked the 2 areas to sit and watch tv, plenty of seating. Was not fond of the different levels in the house: There is one step down from the kitchen to the breakfast room and two steps down to a family room. In the bathrooms, the tub and shower have a dark tint in places (looks like the caulk is bleached but the discoloration still shows). The inside shower curtains showed some dark mold look, too. It’s noisy – lots of cars and sirens can disturb your sleep. Plan ahead if this bothers you.Host was very responsive. No tasks when you leave (but that shows up in the 130 cleaning fee).We had a frightening occurrence one night at 10 pm when someone pounded on the door and rang the doorbell repeatedly yelling that needed water for their cars. We did not open the door (so glad there is a peep hole), called the police (who showed up an hour later), and the people left after my husband told them he was calling the police. No one slept that night, it was so unsettling.

Wonderful older home with so many interesting keepsakes throughout--wish they could have told me some of their stories! Staying here felt like staying at a friend's home. Had everything we needed, host was great, neighborhood was quiet and near everything we could need.

Owner is great, location is great

This was the perfect location for us at just 5 minutes from the Capitol. We could come back and have small meetings in comfort. We will definitely stay there again.

Roomy and clean, great for our stay!

We loved the space, two bathrooms was needed… everything was as advertised. Massage chair was incredible!

Spacious with fun touches in a lovely old neighborhood

Four adults stayed 2 nights and we were very comfortable! We loved the massage chair. We did worry about the absence of smoke detectors.

Lovely Home Near Downtown

The property was just as described. It was spacious and had everything we needed for our brief stay. It was close to our downtown meetings and just around the corner from restaurants. We enjoyed our trip! Thanks for sharing your lovely house with us!
