Clean, beautiful view! Extremely cold AC. Perfect for a couples weekend getaway! Not quite as boat friendly as we would have liked, but we have a rather large boat and truck ..

The views were amazing. Cozy does describe it well. The biggest difficulties were: all railing on the stairs and cabin were in need of repair. They are rough and wifey got several splinters, the other was that the kitchen did not some essentials if you plan on cooking. The host did try and rectify the situation and was very personable. Overall a great getaway spot.

I love this place! The view is spectacular. It’s nothing but peace and quiet here. The cabin is very cozy and it has everything you need. This is the third time I’ve stayed, but I can’t wait to be back!

Cabin is tiny and cute- perfect for a couple traveling with a dog. Sidewalk and stairs down to cabin are lined with lights- functional and pretty. The wagon to help partially transport luggage from vehicle to top of stairs came in handy. Great view of the lake. Nice private beach. Grateful we could bring our dog/child with us. We were able to get some hiking and kayaking in during our stay. We were excited to see several bald eagles while out on the water. It was a relaxing & enjoyable stay.Great communication with owner, quick to respond, very helpful, gave suggestions and recommendations. Overall fairly clean and decently stocked. Cons/things to look into getting resolved when possible.- Washer & dryer do not work well.- It is quite dirty underneath the bed. *When traveling with a small dog you have to check for unsafe things they could get into/ingest (ie: mouse poison, etc.). It's definitely a spot that is frequently overlooked during cleaning.- Several large cockroaches inside the cabin that we had to deal with/kill. We have decided we are not a fan of them. - Fire pit is upright, but not for long as the legs are barely attached/unsafe.*I recommend making a binder for your guests with helpful information and instructions. They won't have to contact you as often if it's all in there.*One of the owners dogs came down to the cabin on its own several times. It ended up being fine, but not every guest or their dog will be ok with this.

Wonderful place to spend a few days. Beautiful views in a peaceful, quiet setting. The cabin was beyond expectations, with all the amenities plus. The host was very responsive. We look forward to coming back soon!!!

This is a lovely little cabin. It's like a motel room, not a separate bedroom and living room, but it works and is comfortable and convenient. There's even a little gas fireplace so it'd be fun to come back in cool weather. My husband claims it's the best shower he's ever had anywhere. The access to the lake is down 2 sets of steep stone steps, but there's a railing provided and wasn't a problem, even for my husband with some mobility issues. We had breakfast every morning on the screen porch overlooking the lake. The only downside, for us at least, was not having restaurants nearby. We had to drive nearly 30 minutes to get to a very small town with limited choices. If we'd realized that, we'd have brought more food along. We swam in the lake every day - it's very private. The bottom of the lake is rocky so you might want to bring along water shoes. Lovely sunsets, and we even got to see the eagles!

Nice and quiet stay

This cabin was everything we were looking for in a quick getaway. The sunsets are amazing to watch over the water. The owner is helpful and accommodating.
