The house was close to the Gas City Performing Arts Center, which was the purpose of our visit. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, and the house was generally clean, but overall it was very outdated, worn and in need of some TLC.

Great place

This house is very clean. It had everything that we needed for our stay. The host was very responsive and even let us check in early. Great stay overall, only thing we wished was that the 1/2 bath had a curtain/blind on the window. Will stay again when visiting family.

Trash outside look like it been there awhile, overflowing, yard need mowed, limb picked off the side walk to door and the stwps to feont porch needs hand rail for people to help climb step one is steep. Bathtub had mold around it and on stopper, carpet in frontroom looks dirty, one closet door broke and other one dirty. Frontroom screen riped. Stove was dirty, refrigator needed wiped out and some the pots and pans still have food on them. The place could use some cleaning and some updates. The area was quite and the people in the community was friendly, check in easily and hosts answer message quickly. Not planning on staying there again unless it ckean and updated.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. While we’re glad you found the neighborhood quiet and friendly and had an easy check-in experience with responsive communication from our team, we’re sorry the condition and cleanliness of the property did not meet expectations. The concerns you mentioned regarding the exterior upkeep, bathtub, carpets, appliances, cookware, screen, closet doors, and front steps are important to us. We have shared these items with our cleaning and maintenance teams so they can be reviewed and addressed. We also appreciate your suggestion regarding a handrail at the front steps, as guest safety and accessibility are important considerations. We appreciate your candid feedback and will use it to help improve the property and the experience we provide future guests.

Nice central place to stay

In the area for some meetings/activities so didn’t spend a lot of awake time at the house. Host was welcoming and had the house ready for us. Quiet neighborhood. Easy travel to the surrounding towns. House had everything in the listing. Comfortable for our small group.

Graduation 2023

Our daughter was graduating from Wesleyan University. We needed somewhere to stay. Hotel prices, in the area, were unbelievably outrageous. Thank you so much for having this rental available. Our family graciously appreciate the coziness of home for the weekend.

Convenient hisue

The house was very convenient for us. It offered three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. Although we didn't use it much, the kitchen was well stocked. I appreciated the Keurig and pods that were provided.

Weekend Stay

Contact with the owners was easy and quick replies- very nice to work with. House was very clean with easy to get to- concrete drive with attached garage is an added bonus. Newly landscaped front yard and fenced back and newly seeded side yard. Neighborhood is very nice and quite. Location is super easy to get to and quick for us as we were in town for local events. This is not a newly built home, but it's very very clean and cozy. We are looking forward to booking again next time we're in town.
