Our stay was very comfortable. The host made the home very welcoming! My son commented that this home was the best stocked home we ever stayed at! The backyard was a hit by all. The boys got to kick a soccer ball and throw a football! The wild turkeys and deer were a delight to see as well. We will definitely be staying here again when we go visit our family in the future!

Enjoyed our stay very much. Home was clean, peaceful and has everything you need for a wonderful time in this Lake Michigan region.

Beautiful Home

We loved everything about this home. We will definitely return. The screened porch was amazing for enjoying dinner. The backyard is beautiful as well.

Perfect in every way 😎

Are daughter’s wedding was held at hidden vineyard. Location was perfect for us. Everything was as described would definitely recommend.

Working in the area

The property was perfect for what I needed it for. It gave me a cozy place to come home to after a day of work. The owners were excellent communicating to everything I needed to know about the property.

such a peaceful time in the country

I loved sitting on the deck by the water, relaxing in the sun porch, and walking around the property. The house is quaint and comfortable. My favorite places to visit were Fernwood, the state parks (Warren Dunes is my fave but Grand Mere State Park is good too - although the trail to the beach was longer than expected!), and River St. Joe (good cider/outside dining atmosphere) I was there to write a book and it was an inspiring location. I got a lot done!

Beautiful setting

Beautiful yard & view, screened porch is nice. If i had known the house had no central air or window units in the bedroom, i would not have booked. Pretty uncomfortable in 95 degree weather, didnt sleep good.

We're so sorry and truly wondered whether the bedrooms stayed cool enough. 90's is so rare in Michigan‼️. Due to your feedback we are installing bedroom units until we're able to revamp the entire heating/cooling systems.

Adventurous and Fun!

We had the best time here! The house was very clean and cute. An older style, for sure, but that just made the house more charming. We stayed her for a girls weekend - hiking the nearby sand dunes, exploring the vineyards and wine trail, and spending the day at the nearby beach town of St. Joseph. This is the second time I have brought a group of friends to this house in Berrien Springs and each time everyone had a great time! The house has a beautiful screened in porch in the back that is perfect for enjoying your morning coffee while watching the world wake up or for late night card games. I'm sure to be back next year.

Very nice older home. Beautiful location.

Everything we needed was there as described. Beds were newer and very comfortable. I loved the home and grounds outside. There was however (maybe because of age of home) a very strong odor of stale cigarettes. My husband didn't smell it?? Also, the toilets are the short older kind. Had to buy riser for him. Other than my sensitive sniffer and his disabilities, it was a good place to stay.
