Downstairs features a large dining room with an extra long table that seats 12. Perfect family meals and activities, curl up on the living room couch with a book by the wood burning stove, enjoy the large country style fully stocked kitchen

Host Phil and Angela were incredible. Accommodated all request, Checked in on our wedding progress and how things were going. House was amazing clean, well maintained, backyard was perfect for afternoon/evening food socializing and the short walk and view of Forebay was amazing. Will definitely look to come back again.

The home was beautiful, comfortable, and cozy. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my groomsmen and we all were blown away by the home. There was plenty of space, the beds were like clouds, and we all felt comfortable. 10/10 would stay here again.

Upon first sight we were impressed. The area and home was lovely. As our family stayed over Christmas the hosts had decorated the home throughout and had a lovely Christmas tree set up which was wonderful. My grandkids woke up with loads of presents under that tree to their delight. The dining table is gorgeous and accommodated our whole family. The hosts were amazing in that they promptly answered all my questions. Every member of my family fell in love with that home and we plan on staying again in the future.

Our stay was very nice. Phil and Angela were helpful and accommodating. The house was spacious and inviting with a fantastic dining room and kitchen. The backyard was such a peaceful place to enjoy your morning coffee and stay cool on a hot afternoon. Internet was spotty, we were unable to connect the tv to our streaming service but there was a selection of DVDs, so we were able to enjoy a movie one evening. Overall, a great place for families to come together. I would like to come back during the winter season.

Our family girls' trip to this little town was wonderful! We needed a home for eight women with plenty of bedrooms and gathering spaces, and this house worked well. We especially appreciated the early check-in—thank you!The location was convenient, with easy access to downtown Placerville and a nearby grocery store. The dining room was perfect for meals and game nights, and the cozy living room gave us a great place to relax. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms, the kitchen met our needs, and having a washer, dryer, and supplies available was a nice bonus. The AC worked great during the hot July weather, and there was ample parking.The only disappointment was the backyard and outdoor living areas. They didn't match the online photos in terms of cleanliness and upkeep. We didn't feel comfortable using the outdoor spaces because of cobwebs, debris, and the overall unkempt condition. A little more attention to outdoor maintenance—blowing off the deck, cleaning the furniture and cushions, and removing cobwebs—would make these spaces much more inviting.Overall, we had a great stay, and with some extra care to the outdoor areas, this home would be even better.

Our family just stayed there and it was perfect for our group of 4 adults and 2 kids. The house had everything we needed and was clean and well stocked. The location was exceptional. It was close to the grocery store and several wineries in the area. There was even a view of the lake from both floors. The area was walkable with a path across the street to the lake. The Host was very responsive when contacted with a couple of questions we had. We had a great time there and if we ever happen to stay in that area we would love to stay there again!

Celebrated Father’s Day and a birthday for our stay. All the amenities made our stay relaxing and fun! Heads up-There is a flight of stairs to bedrooms for people who may have mobility limitations. We made it work. My entire family likes to cook so we thoroughly enjoyed how spacious the kitchen was. We had trouble with keypad but worked it out by messaging Phil and he contacted us right away. Great hosts and beautiful property!

This is a great house, especially the kitchen and the two master bedroom suites. It's a quiet location with nice views, but very convenient to a Safeway and route 50. We would certainly come back if vacationing in this area again.
