Authentic Log Cabin Getaway w/Private Hot Tub

Relaxing, quiet vacation experience without sacrificing modern conveniences. This is Cacapon Retreat!

After a day of hiking, gather around the fire pit while listening to the peaceful flow of Indian Run and other sounds of nature or play a few rounds of cornhole, bocce, and horse shoes.

Enjoy the heated, jetted hot tub facing the private, wooded lot.

We are looking forward to hosting a memorable experience for you and waiting for your inquiry to discuss the details.

The kitchen is fully stocked for most of your cooking needs. Relax in the great room in front of the stone fireplace. Bedrooms have cedar log furniture for a rustic cabin experience. Have fun in the game room/loft with plenty of games, puzzles, a karaoke machine, and regulation size foosball table. Work remotely with the convenience of 300 Mbps Internet.

For your safety and ours, we have one camera facing the front yard, one in back covering the entrance to the deck, and one facing the basement door. All cameras record motion.

Dog Friendly Property- up to TWO dogs permitted, additional pet fee of $50 plus taxes. WE DO NOT ALLOW CATS. Guests must keep dogs on leash in the community and pick up dog waste.

Free early check-in and late check out when possible, please inquire.

Absoulty amazing and stunning property and place to stay! The hose is great and communication is very quickly. House was clean and had everything you could think of. Definitely recommend anyone looking for a quite getaway this will be your place to stay.

We had a wonderful time. Paul was great and replied to any questions we had very quickly. The cabin was top notch! It was the cleanest, most well-stocked VRBO we've ever stayed in. Many extra, thoughtful touches from dog supplies and welcome gift to bathroom oops baskets! We would 100% stay here again.

We had a relaxing long weekend in Berkeley Springs, and our pup enjoyed it as well. The house was beautiful and well kept, and the beds were comfortable.Our family made good use of the hot tub, foosball table, and karaoke machine, which added to the stay. We also appreciated the host allowing us a late checkout.We had a nice experience and would definitely stay here again.

Cacapon Retreat was a wonderful place for a short spring break getaway. The kitchen was perhaps the best appointed that I've ever seen in a rental, and the location overlooking Indian Run made for great meals out on the deck. Everything was clean and tidy, and Paul was great to communicate with. We would definitely reserve this log home again.

The home is welcoming, clean, well stocked with woods all around. We enjoyed being able to go for a nice wood walk from the backyard. The proximity to Cacapon state park was easy by car or foot. Excellent, prompt and positive communication with the owners. If we are in the area again we will stay here.

Property/house is in a great location and extremely clean. We do not have pets and that being said, you would never have known it is a pet friendly rental. No evidence of pet hair or odor. I misunderstood that the outdoor fire pit was not wood burning but a table top propane fire pit. The hiking trail behind the house was also an added bonus. The host was extremely attentive and answered any question immediately. I would stay there again!

Loved our stay! The house is so clean, lots of space and minimal clutter. The kitchen is very well appointed and had everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving dinner! Loved the cabin feel and natural light and cozy fireplace! Beds were comfortable!

We were looking for a last-minute getaway for our family in the area of Cacapon State Park/Berkeley Springs, including two adult children, and really lucked out when we found this one. With one king and two queen beds, the sleeping areas were perfect for us. The cabin was incredibly well-appointed, and very cozy. (We had a lot of rain during our stay but didn't mind because it was a perfect reading/board game playing space!) We met the housecleaners on our (early) arrival, they were very nice and the place was spotless.I reached out to the host a few times before we arrived, he always responded very promptly. Check-in and check-out were very easy. There are a lot of things to do in and near the Park and Berkeley Springs, both outdoor/active (hiking, etc.), and shopping/browsing (art stores, farmers market, restaurants, etc.). We didn't get to do many due to the weather, so we'll just need to come back!
