We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely farmhouse. The home is decorated so nicely and the back yard area is private with lots of activities for the family to enjoy.

Perfect location with super amenities. Fun for all ages. Sparkling clean with all the useful kitchen pots, pans, appliances, bowls, etc. Included are many thoughtful touches such as charging spots and enough clothes hangers in the closets. Seating is varied and comfortable with several versatile places to gather in the house. Lots of privacy. We were delighted with the property and would stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at this farmhouse in a rural area outside of Winchester. The accommodations were very comfortable, we enjoyed playing billiards in the game room, and the yard was a nice size for us to walk our dog. Next time we're in the Winchester area, we will look for this property.

Loved this house, we had so much fun - game shed, fire pit, bbq, porch dinners and hanging out in the living room. It has all the amenities and appliances you need and beds are super comfy. Highly recommend!

Heather was a great host! She was very welcoming and responded quickly to any questions we had, and even made recommendations for local places of interest that we might enjoy. The farmhouse was exactly as presented and very comfortable. A definite stay again!

Very nice country home!

We had a great stay here! Our kids really enjoyed the barn with the arcade, ping pong and pool. Thanks for being a great host!!

This place was awesome — super clean, felt brand new (for a house build in 1891) and well taken care of. Made it easy to just relax and not worry about anything. Bonus points for the shed out back — the arcade machine plus a pool table/ping pong combo, which the kids (and honestly, us too) got a ton of use out of. Also had a level 2 EV charger on site, which was incredibly convenient. Being located within travel distance of DC (1.5 hrs) and Dulles Airport (1 hr), was very nice for our specific trip plans as well.We would definitely stay here again.

Short Relaxing Stay

The property was homey and very well taken care of. The location was convenient and comfortable.Heather, the property manager, was readily available and made me feel welcome.I would easily stay again and definitely recommend.

The property was perfect for our group of four sisters. The house is very comfortable inside. There was plenty of space for all of us and we especially enjoyed using the porches for coffee in the mornings and then lunches as the days progressed. We used the fire pit one evening and enjoyed sitting around it as we talked and laughed. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well supplied. Heather’s hospitality was so appreciated!

A lovely getaway

The property is nestled right off the road, we pulled in and were instantly transported back in time. A fireplace in the living room and 2 seating decks accommodated all our family. We loved staying here and look forward to staying again.

Beautiful home in gorgeous location!

Loved this house - so historic, beautifully updated! We stayed here for a family reunion weekend and had a great time! Fire pit and zip line were big hits. Host was very helpful and responsive. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful farmhouse! Comfy beds, lots of clean towels, decorated with period peice furniture. The shed in the back yard is awesome for kids and adults! Looks exactly as advertised. Host was easy to contact for the few questions we had. Only thing is intermittent internet but understandable when you're out in the country.

The House was just as advertised. Very Clean and Comfortable. The area is pretty quiet so we slept very well. The yard is pretty private so we were very comfortable sitting outside having a cup of coffee in the morning. There were 4 of us (2 couples) so the house size was perfect. The host was very easy to communicate with and answered the questions that we had quickly. We would happily stay again if we visit the area. We were in town for a wedding. The house is also close to many interesting and historic sites.

Enjoyed this place!

Very clean and comfortable. The house is outside of the city, so away from the action which is what we like. Great place for a family stay. We enjoyed the old farmhouse feel with the modern kitchen and bathrooms. Very comfy beds and roomy bathrooms. Thanks!

The 1891 restored farmhouse with beautiful grounds - including a firepit that we sat around both nights, toasting marshmallows; and a bayou cabin with pool/ping pong table that we enjoyed while listening to Creedence Clearwater - was perfect for our family gathering to celebrate a grandson's graduation from Shenandoah University in nearby Winchester. The house had everything we needed for family meals and relaxation. A gem.

My family and I stayed four nights in this amazing home. We found it comfortable, cozy and clean! We cooked some four star meals, we found everything we needed to do so in the well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed evenings around the firepit and our Pool competitions in the game room! Thank you Heather for sharing this sweet home with us, we made a lot of memories there! We truly didn’t want to leave!!

Updated Historic Home

We had a great time at the home over New Year’s weekend. The house is roomy enough for two families and has a lot of character. It’s close to grocery stores, etc but gives the feeling of being in a private, secluded place.

Perfect Winchester home!

I am so happy to have found this house to stay. My daughter loved the big yard and zip line. The house is perfect old Winchester charm with updated amenities. It is close to everything but out of town enough to enjoy privacy and beautiful views. Heather was amazing through our stay and always willing to answer any questions. I will be returning and will only stay here.

The big disappointment was that the fireplace was not in use.But we enjoyed the outdoor firepit. Thanks to wood provided. The location of the house is right on the road which was also surprising. The listing did not prepare us for that. The decor was cozy and cheerful. The place was clean and welcoming.
