The farmhouse is very nice. Plenty of room to spread out. The pool was always clean and inviting. The care takers were very friendly and helpful

The farm was beautiful with gorgeous views in all four directions. The house was spacious, lovely, comfortable, & full of artwork & interesting vintage & antique pieces. Our young grandkids loved feeding the animals & playing with the toys inside & outside the house. The pool was awesome, just the right size, private & the caretaker kept it very clean. The location is great with so many fun activities & a bounty of breweries & wineries nearby. My grown kids said it was the best place that I have ever rented.

Old country house with lots of big spaces to be in. Pool was terrific, only 25 steps from the house. Views were wonderful, farm animals were a treat for the grandkids. Lots to do in the area, from horseback riding to hiking to an old train tunnel to bike riding. A few minor issues were quickly responded to by our host. Very comfortable house, great kitchen and comfortable beds for the most part. Felt like someone’s home, not like a place bought just to rent out. A great week for two kids , parents and grandparents.

This is a 100 year-old farm house that was delightful. We are here for a family wedding and there are 11 of us which fit in perfectly . We range an age from four years old up to 87 and each of us was comfortable the kids delighted in feeding the donkeys and the goats and seeing the chickens. We would come back without hesitation a lovely peaceful place. The caretaker was very available and friendly.

Our family fell in love with this beautiful home and grounds! The home was so very clean. They had an overabundance of toys, books, movies, games. Everything you could want in a kitchen. The home is huge and each room is so full of character. The stargazing was spectacular! The incredible views! Those wonderful, gentle animals! Our grandsons could not believe it! Our 5 year old grandchild said, "it's like we have our very own petting zoo!"The owner and caretaker made us feel so very welcomed and cared for.We look forward to a return visit.Thank you!!

Perfect place for family get-together

Wonderful big farmhouse and outside grounds were lovely. Great to have a pool on hot afternoons. Location was close enough to towns so we could visit the area.

If you're looking for a farmhouse on a working farm...

....this is the place to be. The farmhouse itself was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the pool and movie room. It was fun walking around the property and interacting with the farm animals. We'd definitely stay here again.

Blue Ridge visit

Stayed for three nights in a great setting. Easy access to local lakes, hikes, tubing and wineries/breweries. Great views from the house along with the added fun of the farm animals around the property. The house has everything you need, including a nice pool, yard games, deck, and fire pit. Access was easy, owners/caretakers were responsive to questions.

The house and property were very nice! In ground pool and other home amenities were a plus. All beds and bedding were amazingly comfortable. Views / scenery were awesome! Our Family felt at home right away, everyone was extremely comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with items; spices, bowls, utensils, glassware etc. which made our stay even more enjoyable!

Magical!

I cannot express enough how much i loved this place! Cozy farmhouse! I felt like i was walking back in time, waiting for my grandma to take some biscuits out of the oven. The grounds was so beautiful and we are planing another trip soon!

Great Place to Stay

The farm house was amazing! We enjoyed the country side and the quiet. It was a cozy place for our family reunion. There are some things that could be fixed or updated but overall the pros definitely outweigh the cons. The property manager was amazing and so accommodating. We would definitely stay again and look forward to it.
