Wonderful home for my family of 8 (6 adults and 2 children) for the week. There’s plenty of room for everyone to spread out, or to gather together, both inside and out. The house is very well-stocked with everything you need! We enjoyed all of the amenities and Sharon was very responsive throughout.

Great Family Vacation

We loved our week at this home. The location was great, as we could walk to the beach, multiple coffee shops and restaurants all within 10-15 minutes. The house was very comfortable with multiple places to relax, including a great couch and chair lounge area by the pool. The owner was very helpful and extremely communicative. Will look to stay here again.

Family Vacation

Our family had a great time! The cleanliness and decor in the home was very inviting. The host thought of everything! This home is very close to the beach, an amazing pool with beautiful landscaping and a scenic view of the lake.

Amazing experience

We had an absolute wonderful time. The house was very comfortable for our family of 6, very clean and the owners put a lot of thought into all the little details that made it even more special. Sheila is very responsive and thoughtful. She even offered to ship us an item we left behind! We are definitely coming back.

Cream of the Crop

This place is freshly updated in most rooms, and very clean in the entire house. Bedrooms were nice-sized. Sheila responded promptly and courteously. It has all the amenities renters need. The pool as really a plus. Note though, that if you have young children the pool does not have a fence around it. The location was perfect for a short walk to the beach, a mile to town, and a a few miles walk to nearby towns. We will rent this place again if we return to Jesey Shore!

213 Lake Terrace

Air conditioning on first floor only. Only one window unit in one of the three bedrooms upstairs. Close to the beach, one block away. Clean and nicely laid out. Nice backyard with pool, but unheated, so quite cold.

As you mentioned in your private note to me, so glad you “enjoyed your vacation” and thought our “house is great.” Just to clarify a small point, the A/C is on the second floor and the window unit is supplemental. However, we hear you. We will make upgrades to the A/C for the 2024 season. Please come back!

Our stay was truly exceptional, from the communication to the attention to detail. Sheila thought of every possible thing you would ever need to make the stay as welcoming and comfortable as possible. It really felt like home as soon as we stepped through the door. The whole house was spotless and equipped with new stove, refrigerator, microwave and toaster oven. The highlight of our stay was definitely the beautiful large pool and sitting on the front porch overlooking the lake and watching the fireworks at night. The house is in a very convenient location. A block and a half to the beach, and an easy stroll to see the beautiful Victorian homes in Ocean Grove and the great restaurants and bars in Asbury Park. Bradley beach has some fantastic restaurants, as well. Our favorite pizza was from Del Ponte’s. We can’t thank Sheila enough for such a fabulous stay. We hope to return.

Great location, great house

The house is really nice - the pictures don't do it justice. The best part is the backyard. It is beautifully landscaped with a wonderful pool (part deep enough to use the diving board). Plenty of seating options in the yard, including 6 chaise lounges, a very nice dining table, and a seating area with couches and chairs. Plenty of umbrellas for shade, an outdoor shower, and a nice sized lawn area, as well. The ground floor has 4 different seating areas, one of which can double as a bedroom, and 2 large smart TVs. There's a well-equipped kitchen and a newly-renovated bathroom with shower. The 2nd floor bedrooms are not huge but have plenty of storage, and a nice-sized older bathroom that has had some nice updating. Central a/c on the fir No direct a/c on the second floor, but cool air from the first floor's central a/c plus fans in each bedroom make it ok. The house is very well stocked - 6 beach bikes, 6 tubes for the pool, lots of towels, a beach cart with beach umbrellas and 8 beach chairs. The owners have thought of so much that made our stay easy and enjoyable. And the owners are great hosts. They were very responsive (for example, the coffee maker broke and there was a new one on the front steps that afternoon). The house is a block and a half from the beach and across from a nice like (with lots of geese - you probably won't want to stroll in the lawn around the lake). With the pool and beach so easily available, the house makes for a great beach rental.

So glad you enjoyed our house! We tried to make our guest’s vacation easy by having many amenities as you mentioned. Clearly I need to update our house description…thanks for helping, lol. We have added a temporary solution for the second floor A/C. We have a comprehensive plan for 2024 season. Please come back!
