The Blue Whale is a 3,300 sqft home that is perfect for your next family gathering, reunion, church retreat, corporate meeting, or anyone just wanting to get away from it all. With 5 bedrooms (3 en suite), 4.5 baths, a formal dining area, breakfast bar, and two living room areas, this home opens its doors to you and your group, inviting a weekend of relaxation and reconnection. The property has two beach access points depending on if you prefer to hit the beach quickly (3 minute walk with steps) or leisurely (5 minute walk with sloped grade to the sand.) If your group intends to spend the whole day on the beach with lots of gear, then the recommended route is to load up your rig and drive down to the beach, as one very unique aspect of this home is that parking on the beach is just two miles away!

We had a wonderful stay in Lincoln City! There were 11 of us—5 adults and 6 kids—and the home was a great fit for our group. It was very clean, had everything we needed, and there were comfortable beds for everyone.We loved the big windows and how comfortable and well set up the house was. There was plenty to keep everyone entertained, which was especially nice with six kids! The electronic setup was also one of the best we’ve seen—TVs that actually worked well, phone chargers conveniently placed throughout the house, and all those little details that make traveling with a group so much easier.The location was great and close to the beach, and our host was wonderful with communication throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

We stayed here for a family stay-cation - Everything was just as described- Very clean, well stocked kitchen, great selection of games and puzzles. We would 100% stay again.

Great stay. House was exactly as pictured. Plenty of stuff for our family of 16. Gorgeous views of the ocean from top 2 floors. Will definitely stay again. Host extremely responsive.

We do large family gatherings in Lincoln City a few times a year and enjoy staying in a new house every time, but we’ve all been talking about how we should rent THIS house for the next trip! We loved it. Comfy big couch. Plenty of dinning space. And the kitchen was STOCKED with everything you could ever need to make any dish a wide variety of seasonings which we so appreciated. Perfect proximity to the beach. Our only “hiccup” though it really wasn’t a problem, is the listing said 2 beds per room aside from 1. But only 2 rooms had 2 beds, the rest had a cott in the closet you could pull out and make up. So we were a bit panicked until we opened the closets.

This house was perfect for our extended family! We loved that there were bedrooms on separate levels and that the only rooms that had to share a bathroom were the 2 basement bedrooms. The master bedroom was PERFECT for the niece with small children, and the cots provided were a perfect bonus to have them all sleep together. The kitchen was well stocked, we loved the grill and smoker, and the #1 reason I rented this home was because of the HUGE kitchen table. I love that this homeowner gets it!! If you can accommodate sleeping arrangements for 12 people, provide a kitchen table big enough for 12 people to enjoy a meal together or play games. We LOVED it! The only negative was that the windows were either dirty from moisture, or starting to lose their seal, that we wish the view of the ocean was a little better. Easy beach access to the South where the ramp is vs the stairs to the North. The owner was also great at returning messages and even allowed us in an hour earlier so we could get kiddos unpacked and cook dinner for the night. We would absolutely stay here again if ever in the area.

Family Reunion

The house was comfortable. We were able to feed 15 family members using the well equipped kitchen. The beach was a short walk away. Shops were a short walk into town. There was even a grocery store within walking distance. The property worked extremely well for our family.

Perfect family accommodations!

Jessica provided us with comfortable and beautiful accommodations! Perfect for our family of 13. We had fun games to play, a relaxing hot tub, comfortable rooms; everyone was happy with our location as well. We’d love to stay again given the opportunity. Thank you Jessica!

Very pleasant home

Overall a very nice home , clean and comfortable. Kitchen was nicely stocked and the layout of the home was great. And plenty of towels blankets and other necessities which was great. We all enjoyed the blue whale.

Birthday Celebration

I rented the Bluewhale for my 80th birthday/Fathers' Day. It was a perfect home for me and my wife, my children , and my grandchildren. The kitchen and dining room were perfect for a group of 10 which allowed for fabulous meals. We had a wonderful game of Trivial Pursuit and the grands loved the video games and shuffleboard, as well as ping pong. All the bedrooms were very satisfactory and there was no problem getting a good night's sleep. This is the perfect house for a family group.

Very pleased

We had little ones under 6 and their parents and two old folks. Plenty to do. The men had shuffleboard competitions every night. Well stocked games and puzzles. We had a new puzzle going every night and the little ones had a three story house to play hide n seek or arcade games ect. The beach was very close. Quick easy walk for even the little ones with lots of tide pools to explore. Well stocked kitchen and Tregor was nice to have. Plenty of space for everyone. Kylos one of our favorite restaurants was an easy stroll down the beach or 5 minute car ride. Definitely recommend this house

Great house

This house was very nice and had so much room for the whole family to come together and stay. There was so much to do for the kids and adults in the house we never got bored. The shuffleboard and video games were a highlight for the kids. The kitchen was nicely stocked and so much room at the tables to eat and play games. The hot tub was a bit off colored which made most of us avoid it during the trip but other than that everything was perfect.

Thank you so much for being my guest, Lisa! I hope you come again. Also, I spoke to our hot tub maintenance man about your observation of the water; he said the water can take on a green hue from the treatment he adds. It’s the chlorine interacting with the water and is totally safe to use.

Family get together

The Blue Whale is a beautiful house with lots of space and sleeping areas. The kitchen was very well supplied with cooking and serving items. The baths had soaps, shampoos, and lotions but could have used a few more towels being available without having to wash each time. The house is beautifully located in mid Lincoln City on a fairly quiet street.

Great location

We had a great experience here-great time and location. The host was very responsive and helpful. Rooms 4 & 5 appeared much smaller than pictured, but we still had a great time and made it work for our large group.
