Anniversary Getaway

Had a wonderful trip and the cabin was just as the description. Would rent again.

Very nice modern renovated log home. All new appliances & large master bedroom & bathroom. 10 minute drive to Grocery store & State Park hiking trails. Over all beautiful home , would definitely rent again.

80th Birthday Surprise

It was a great weekend with family. The cabin was very accommodating. My only recommendation would be to try and arrive during the daylight.

Disappointed

The road to the cabin is steep and narrow. The cabin is old with rotten wood at the front door. The steps inside the cabin are narrow and steep, not for older visitors with bad knees. There is no bedroom on the main floor so you must go up or down the steep narrow stairs to get to a bed room. There were stink bugs in the cabin and pet hair. There was a heavy perfumed smell throughout as if from a strong scented laundry detergent. The site is littered with unfinished jobs and equipment. There was unfinished drywall in the upstairs bathroom. The wood on the sliding glass door on the main level is rotten with a hole large enough for a chipmunk to pass through. There were no smoke detectors visible. The bathroom in the downstairs bedroom has very little privacy with large gaps in the barn style door and the door does not close all the way.
