We had the most wonderful time staying at the resort. Our room was perfect and the hospitality of the workers especially the front desk was amazing. We travel a lot and this was perfect. Thank you so much.

Easy check-in. Unit as described and we loved watching whales on the lanai every day. Also had a turtle come up on the beach. Snorkeling out front of resort was another bonus. Highly recommend!

Excellent!

Property is amazing. Very well kept and the most friendly staff on the island. Pool and beach are clean. Nothing bad to say. Many restaurants and activities are close and location is very convenient to everything. Will definitely stay again.

Misleading

We had great response from our host when we first booked the place. After that we got no check in instructions. We called VRBO when we arrived after an entire day traveling and they couldn’t help us. Told us to book our own hotel and they would cover the cost. Turns out they didn’t cover the cost. We eventually got into the resort the next day and they booked a double bed room even tho it was listed on VRBO as a king room. The unit itself was nice and clean and spacious. Good location albeit the pink exterior is a bit outdated.

I apologize for the confusion. I relayed your contact information that you provided me to the resort. All you needed to do is go to front desk to check in. After the initial booking, I did not hear from you until the day of booking. Some suites have double beds and some have king beds. I wish you would have expressed a preference. I could have at least requested a king bed. Communication on both sides could have been better.

Affordable resort with tons of amenities on beautiful Kaanapli Beach!

My husband and I had stayed at the KBC on our honeymoon five years ago and were so excited to go back. This was our first experience through VRBO and Gary was wonderful to make arrangements through! He was always very responsive to all of our inquiries and was quick to turn around our reservation. The resort itself is very nice for the price. The kitchenette is AWESOME - we cooked every breakfast in our room and many of our lunches. It is very nice if you have a family with you -- saves a lot on the cost of food and is convenient. The rooms are clean and up to date. Nice big bathroom with two sinks. The only downside we found: -TV was an HD television, but the channels are not HD -No fan in the bathroom (and if these are the only complaints we have... then you can imagine how good it is!!) Huge lanai - we regret not upgrading to the oceanfront room vs. oceanview because our view was fairly disappointing (it overlooked a parking lot and ugly rooftop). The pool area is big and we went when the resort wasn't very busy - so we always had our pick of the chairs. Pool doesn't have a great view of the ocean, but was still lovely. (Not heated = cold!) We also enjoyed the resort happy hour very much -- from 3-6 every day they run great drink and food specials. Aloha Friday was also fun - happy hour all day! Overall a GREAT experience for the price we paid. We were happy to rent from Gary and will hopefully do it again in the coming years!

I was there in February and they apparently had a heater go out for the pool. They turned up the heat and it got better in a day or 2!

Great stay. Family friendly

We stayed at the Beach Club Resort for 7 days and had a great time. The staff were all super nice and helpful. The pool was great, especially when it was too windy to go to the beach. The beach access was a little odd and seemed like the ‘rehab’ project has been stalled for some time. The resorts to either side have constructed retaining walls with steps to access the beach but there is a fence and large nylon sand bags with ‘No Access’ signs along this resort’s shoreline. The room was spacious and the front desk sent up a roll away bed to accommodate our party of 5. Super helpful! The abbreviated kitchen was nice to help offset food costs. I think the only addition I would make is a broom and dust pan to help keep up with the sand. All in all a great vacation!

They will supply you with a broom and dustpan if you ask. Sorry about the confusion regarding the beach. KBC cannot build a seawall as the resort was built after seawalls were outlawed.. Beach access is on the North end of the property.

Fun and sun in Maui

Gary has a great place. It was clean and had plenty of kitchen items. Bed was comfortable.The pool had lots of chairs and towels. The location is close to restaurants- some in walking distance. I would stay in this condo again. Although there was no laundry- it was free and on the same floor just around the corner from unit. Parking was free.

Return to Former Embassy Suites

We had stayed at the property right after it had opened as the Embassy Suites. We looked forward to returning there. We were not disappointed. It was terrific although we did miss the breakfast that the Embassy Suites provided. We had a great time enjoying the room, the pool, the terrific ocean view and the incredible location of the particular unit. The room had everything we needed for a totally relaxing stay. There are restaurants within walking distance and a food truck court nearby. KIMO's is within a short drive to nearby Lahaina. An ABC store is close by as well. The staff members were very friendly. My wife had a massage at the AHH spa right on the property and raves about it.

Restaurant is not open except take out

Lovely stay the resort is very nice, but very disappointed the restaurant was not open for service. I specifically booked here for the second time for the on-site restaurant and live music. Food was available for takeout only and extremely limited. Website still does not say the restaurant is not open.

Retirement Trip

My husband and I fought this property wonderful and our deluxe ocean view room on the 12th floor was simply awesome views. From the bedroom to living room, our view of the ocean and shoreline were in view. We loved the resort location too, with grocery store so close, local restaurants, nail salon and massage cabanas near the pool. Although we've traveled to Lahaina area several times, we just found the Kaanapali Beach Club resort fantastic place to relax and enjoy every moment of our ten day stay. FANTASTIC MEMORIES

Great service from Gary

We’ve stayed several times at Kaanapali Beach Club so we know what to expect. We traveled with another family that also did a VRBO stay. Fortunately for us, Gary took care of all the communications with Diamond Resorts to ensure everything was put in our name. Check in was perfect for us, unfortunately for our friends, they used someone else who didn’t follow through by communicating the names correctly. So great job Gary! Thanks for helping us have a smooth and hassle free vacation. We highly recommend Gary’s VRBO unit and follow through.

Amazing

We had the best vacation at this property! Beautiful ocean views and they were very accommodating bringing up a rollaway bed! We had everything we needed. The resort itself was amazing- we enjoyed the pool everyday and the beach is steps away. We will be back!! Thank you, Gary!

Great stay

The resort was perfect for a family traveling with kids. The pool and beach access is great. We fit 2adults & 3 children in a room with a free rollaway. Having the kitchen is great! Highly recommend for the price

Great place for a family getaway!

Gary was the outstanding! He answered all of my questions as this was the first time I had used VRBO. His description was spot on and made me feel very comfortable with my selection. As for KBC, the place was very clean and the service was outstanding. Any time we called down and needed something, they were knocking on our door within 15 minutes fulfilling our request. The pool is definitely the highlight of the resort! It is huge and offers plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The waterslide was a hit for the kids! The beach access is a little challenging and the beach area itself is somewhat limited but still provided the experience we were looking for. The on-site underground parking garage was also convenient. I would definitely recommend staying here and working with Gary again!

Allee's Birthday Vacation in Maui

Our family had an amazing time at the Kaanapali Beach Club Ocean Front Resort. The room had an ocean view that was stunning! We had a very positive experience with the staff and great communication with the owner. We appreciate having this opportunity to relax and be away from the hustle bustle and step in to paradise!

Nice Resort

This is a nice place that is conveniently located with reasonably priced restaurant and eating places onsite. The waterfall pool and spa and easy access to the beach made for a relaxing stay.
