Good location clean & nicely decorated property

We came to hike and kayak and stay in a nice house rather than hotel. We arrived very late after a 9 hour drive. Had a little hiccup with getting in the property. VRBO was responsive and the host made it right. Home is very clean and cute and fit our needs. We cooked ant home the kitchen had what we needed. Overall we had a good stay. Conveniently located to our activities and gas station and Kroger across the street

Great Place to Stay close to the Red River Gorge area

This location was a perfect distance to the Red River Gorge Area. There were also plenty of dining options nearby and a Kroger that was really close for convenience. The place was very clean and quiet, and materials were easy to find and were well organized. The host provided guides and information to local areas which helped with planning daily activities. There was also a notebook where individuals who previously stayed shared the different activities and locations they visited during their stay. This location was a great place to come back to for down time after hikes with board games, a full functioning kitchen, and a nice tv. The wifi works great, which was a concern since many places to stay near Red River Gorge did not have wifi. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone wanting to stay near the Red River Gorge area.

Kayak trip

Very clean, updated and smartly decorated mid century modern cottage convenient to hiking, kayaking and sightseeing. We enjoyed the ability to go back to the house for a break/snack/nap between activities.

Perfect family home for RRG and Natural Bridge Visit

This home was perfect for our family during our visit to the area. It was exceptionally clean and welcoming. The decor was great and there is nothing else you need upon arrival. The outdoor space was very nice and the convenience of local grocery store was very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Stay

A great home base for small groups. Clean & comfortable in a convenient location. Grocery shopping, restaurants and freeways very close. The place was as advertised and we enjoyed ourselves so much we stayed an extra two nights. Host was very responsive! If we make it back to the area we're staying here again!

Perfect little house.

We were thrilled with our rental. The owner had it all ready for us with snacks and Ale81 in the fridge!!! How sweet was that?? It was designed well, chic, clean, and walking distance to the grocery store, shops, and a great little Mexican restaurant. Only feedback: upstairs rooms have no doors so when you're walking down the creeky stairs, you may disturb someone. We did fine with it. The beds were nice but really hard, especially the twins. They could just use a foam pad on top to prevent that morning hard beds achiness. Also, a few more hooks on the walls in the bathroom would have been great! But seriously, they had lots of towels, info etc etc. We loved it.

Cute house in central location

House was very clean and updated-2 bedrooms are upstairs and they are open. The bedroom on main floor is very nice-upstairs is a double bed and there are 2 twin beds in another part of open area. The window units cooled upstairs very well. Thank you

Great cozy cottage

Very clean and modern cottage! Samantha has thought of everything in case you forget to pack something…. Love the white linens and white towels. The house is so much bigger inside than it appears. Really enjoyed our stay here! Would stay here if we’re ever in the area again.

A great stay at a cozy house

We had a great time staying at this house. It is well stocked, having everything we need. The location is very convenient, close to restaurants, grocery store, and entrance to the freeway. Samantha responded to my message very quickly every time.

Wonderful property

We had a wonderful time. Everything we needed was easily accessible and ready for our use. I almost finished a puzzle while there. Furniture could be a bit more comfortable b/c we wanted to lay around a bit, but definitely acceptable. Will stay again!

Lovely Yellow Door Cottage

The home was a perfect stay for our family. It was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent! It was also nice that a grocery store and restaurants were nearby. I can completely recommend a stay at the yellow door cottage. It was a an easy drive to the Red River Gorge and Natural Bridge State Park.

Great place for a great value.

The home is super clean, nice yard, pet friendly, spacious, and very well stocked. It is an older home so some imperfections are obvious. The AC unit doesn’t cool the top floor very well, I think that was our only complaint but we managed; mostly in part to the weather only being in the 70’s and much cooler at night. Overall this property is fantastic & I won’t hesitate to book it again for our next trip to RRG. There’s plenty of close-by amenities, food, and small locally owned businesses. The owner seems sweet and undoubtedly takes pride in her rental home.
