Travis was great to work with… we were renting over opening fishing and because of the late, cold, spring weather the dock was scheduled to be put in until the next weekend… he asked how important it was to have it in and lo and behold it was in when we got there! The grandkids loved spending time on the dock!

The house was exactly as described and represented in the photos - location is great on the lake and having the road between the house and lake was very chill and didn't impede that feeling of being 'at the lake' (the road has really low traffic)Having access to the dock was fantastic and although we didn't take advantage of it, there were lots of toys geared toward water activities in the garage - as well as a lovely gas grill that I know we'll use on a future visit. The interior was lovely, well stocked and very comfortable - the beds were great, the water pressure in the showers was good and all sorts of little details were covered... LOADS of beach towels, bug spray, SPF, coffee & filters... things that you can so readily overlook packing and want in a pinch, were accounted for.Already planning a return trip back next summer - but instead of staying a few nights, we'll be there for an entire week!

Beautiful venue! Expansive sandy beach on pristine Lake Shamineau. The home is beautifully decorated and well-stocked with staples so no unexpected runs for salt and pepper. Best VRBO experience yet.

The lake property is perfect for family get togethers. Lots of space for meals, sleep and activities. If you bring a boat, there is a private dock across the street and a beautiful lake for cruising and swimming. Travis is a great host and has equipped the home with everything a group could need.

Perfect for family vacation on a beautiful lake

Exceptionally equipped, clean, and plenty of room for our family of 5 adults and 4 young grandchildren. We particularly appreciated the toys the grandchildren could use. The beds were very comfortable. The owners were very responsive. Highly recommended!!

Perfect Stay on Lake Shamineau

We had an excellent stay at Travis' place on Lake Shamineau! Check-in was easy, the cabin was very clean and had everything we needed (and more). The cabin is right on the water. Lake Shamineau is a beautiful lake in Northern Minnesota. We will be back again!
