Charming Cabin on Fish Trap Lake: Fireplace, boat lift & beautiful walk out

This beautiful cabin on Fish Trap lake allows guests to experience the lake and up north without lacking in the modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. Spend the day out on the lake boating, fishing or stay back to enjoy the views from the front porch. A fire located on a level lot looks directly out onto the lake for your evening enjoyment.

Features/details include:
- 2 story cabin with 3 bedrooms. One bedroom is on the main level, 2 are upstairs.
- modern log home feel with wood floors throughout the main level
- 20 minutes from Brainerd for shopping
- high speed wireless internet, Direct TV
- washer/dryer
- fully equipped kitchen
- Gas fireplace
- Sleeper sofa in additional to 2 bedrooms and loft sleeping area
- Bath towels provided
- 2 kayaks for renter use

- Rock wrapped shoreline

The cabin offers central air-conditioning and heat.

The large front porch has patio seating with 2 tables, and a gas grill. There is a renovated boat house that offers 2 kayaks, 4 life jackets, and a vintage fridge to store lakeside drinks and snacks. Cabin rental includes the kayaks, dock and boat lift use. Fishing is great all seasons for bass, northern, sunny, and walleye.
The cabin is also settled on a quiet bay, which is perfect for water sports in the summer and great access to ice fishing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling trails.

**Security cameras on property at entrance and near boathouse to help us monitor safety of cabin when not rented and status of yard maintenance.

Such a cute place!

This is such a cute cabin and it has such a great layout! The lake is beautiful and is so calm. It was a short stay but was very enjoyable.

Home Away from Home

Beautiful well-kept property! Mom, Dad, Aunt & Uncle needed a nice quiet place to relax in between the weekend festivities of our daughter/goddaughter’s wedding at The Barn at Stoney Hill. It was perfect! Comfortable sleeping accommodations and a beautiful porch to enjoy our morning coffee while overlooking the lake. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will certainly return to enjoy a more traditional lake experience.

Spent a relaxing week at this property. Only left once to get a new battery for our boat. Very quiet on the weekdays we were there, busier closer to the weekend. Had a great time swimming and fishing. Caught fish for dinner 2 nights. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Absolutely, beautiful location. Had everything we were wanting to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everday life. Enjoyed the lake, wildlife, firepit and everyday sitting on the deck with our coffee. Could not have asked for better accommodations.

Great place at the lake

This was the second time we spent a week at this cabin. My husband enjoyed the lake and the fish he caught, and I enjoyed a relaxing stay in a comfortable, cozy house. The cabin is decorated beautifully, and it is obvious that the owner takes pride in the place.

Great spot for a fall getaway.

We loved this property. We spent our days exploring the region - shopping, hiking, etc and returned to the cabin for afternoon/evening melas and games. This was perfect! Beautiful, well kept, cozy and warm. Well stocked kitchen for cooking, beautiful living room to relax!

Great Lakefront Getaway

Beautiful house right on the lake. Comfy and fairly well stocked. Great dock and we even had kayaks. We would definitely stay here again

Comfortable Clean Cabin on the Lake

Very comfy beds and furniture, very clean and a beautiful view of the lake. Property is well-maintained and the location is quiet, except for the area trains which never blow their horns. We definitely hope to return next summer. Oh… and the handmade Quilts in the beds are absolutely gorgeous!! Easy drive to Baxter, Nisswa and Alexandria. Thanks for a great vacation!!

Great place for a quiet getaway

My husband and I stayed for six nights and enjoyed the place thoroughly. Super clean, very comfortable, well-equipped, obviously very thoughtfully prepared for our visit. Also, my husband says the fishing was superb! We are seriously considering a return trip next spring.

Absolutely amazing

Loved this place. Very clean and the location is amazing! The only thing I would change is the pine tree in the front yard where you park, just because we ended up eith a lot of tree sap on our vehicles. Overall I would highly recommend this place

Annual Family Vacation

Absolutely beautiful and CLEAN property! My family and I had the best time. Communication with Camille was fantastic. All the beds were very comfortable (the bunk bed a little squeaky), plenty of bathroom towels, kitchen Cookware, utensils, and small appliances. The lake was beautiful and not too busy. We rented a pontoon for the week from Campfire Resort and took may boat rides around the lake. We were so grateful for the Central Air as the week was very hot. When renting a VRBO, I always rely on the reviews before booking. This cabin is definitely a 5 star and my family and I highly recommend it! We had the best time and made lots of family memories. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us! We enjoyed ourselves so much!

What a great vacation rental

My family enjoyed ourselves so much the last several days staying at your cabin. Not sure how many times my grandchildren jumped off the dock into the blue waters of Fish Trap Lake. Water tubing, listening to the loons, fireflies and s’mores- couldn’t have been better- Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Great stay!

We loved the place and the lake. It is an amazing bass lake and we cannot wait to go back. We spent most of the time on the lake, so not too much in the house. The only downside would be the lack of light in the bathroom downstairs. Overall.. we will be back! :)

Our family lives in Corcoran, MN and we have enjoyed going 'up north' to the Lincoln Lakes area, year round, for the past 30 years. We love to be out on the lake skiing, tubing or wake boarding and often come to shore for a grill-out and relaxation by the fire with family and friends.
