This is a great property for those traveling with family or on business. The house was extremely clean and ready upon our arrival with everything in order. One minor note for the property manager: the kitchen lights flicker periodically and the AC did not cool the queen and bunk bedrooms as well as it did the rest of the house. Other than those minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and would book again!

Nice stay, but some room for improvement

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an overall pleasant stay at the house. The location was good and the house provided everything we needed for our vacation. However, compared with other vacation homes we have stayed in, we felt that the property could benefit from some updates and improvements, especially considering the price.One thing that disappointed us was the very high additional charge for extending the check-out time by only a few hours. We would have appreciated a more reasonable and flexible option, especially as we had a late flight home.Overall, we enjoyed our vacation and the house was perfectly adequate, but it was not quite as special or high-quality as we had expected.

Home away from home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation home was everything we hoped for and everything the pictures look like. The location is perfect, right in between two parks. The kids enjoyed kayaking to their friends’s house. The pool was immaculate. The whole house was spotless, but also felt very comfortable. plenty of towels and pool toys.

House had hairs in the bed and stained towels. When we first arrived at the house, there was an exterminator there spraying the entire property, which was offputting also the next day when we were trying to relax in the pool area, a pool cleaner came for a half an hour to clean the pool. Lots of little things made this house not feel like a home. It’s still pretty dated as well. I would not stay here again

Enjoyed our week stay

We absolutely loved most everything about our stay. The pool was amazing, location was great, neighbors very friendly. The main bathroom shower needs attention. The house overall was great.

Fun family trip

We had a great time over April vacation. House is near beach and shops. The pool is clean and warm. The back deck was great to have a relaxing breakfast and dinner on.

Lovely villa in a beautiful location. We all really enjoyed our time there. The villa has everything you need and we loved every minute of our stay.

Marco Island Vacation

We spent a couple weeks in this beautifully remodeled house. We enjoyed the outside area, including the pool and kayaks. The house was located an easy drive to the beaches or the downtown.

Everything we wanted!

The house totally exceeded our expectations! It was clean, well-stocked, and provided everything we needed for a fun, sun-filled trip. The host was very accessible and responsive. Would not hesitate to recommend to others! If you’re on the fence, book this house! We truly appreciate everything and look forward to returning soon.

The property is in a good location and the outdoor space is excellent. Generally the property is well presented but there are a few areas which are in need of a refresh - the second bedroom has no bedside units for example and the BBQ was out of gas meaning it couldn't be used, also there were no codes provided for the bike locks which was annoying as it meant we couldn't leave them at the beach access.Communication with the agents was straightforward and all that was needed.Overall a great vacation.

Wonderful Vrbo

This home was a great place for my husband, my daughter and her husband and her two children ages 3 & 5 and myself. The kids enjoyed the pool from morning till night and it was very warm even though the mornings were chilly. It is a very short walk to a great park and we could even walk to the beach but most of the time drove there so the kids could rest on the way back. The neighbor was very friendly, the views of the canal were petty and we even tried the kayaks for a few hours. This house seemed very spacious and open and we made most of all our meals in the house. We used the very large capacity water/dryer many times to clean our beach towels. Some of the bikes had flat tires that would keep air but we did have two of the adult bikes we were able to use to explore the area. Over all we would stay here again without any hesitation.

Great location and house

Overall, we had a great stay. We booked the house based on the location and amenities. When we arrived we learned that the 4 bikes listed were not 4 adults bikes by any means. There was one, fairly old adults size bike, a pre-teen bike, and two young children’s bikes. Honestly, the bike part of the listing sold us on this house so we were extremely disappointed. If you’re not planning on riding bikes, this is your place to stay though! Also, if the pool feels cool, reach out to the company, they forgot to start to heat it before we got there but then made it right and it was so refreshing. The interior and exterior are gorgeous as well. Overall, we would stay there again but make reservations for bikes that we can actually ride!

Perfect getaway home

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We just returned from a month’s stay here. The home was super clean and updated. The kitchen is well stocked, every room just felt like home. Our two favorites are the huge lanai and large pool, plus our evenings on the dock under the tiki hut. We leveraged the bikes (there are 2 adult and 3 child) and the wagon/chairs to go to the beach. Having Mackle Park so close is a real gem. Walking, biking, playground and splash pad all a few steps away. We cannot say enough about Harborview Rental. Their response to a few issues was incredibly swift and resolved within 24 hours. A great location, quiet and low traffic.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The outdoor space was amazing. The interior needed some help. Very dated. The bathroom towels felt like they were 20 years old. All mismatched & worn out. Same with the bedding. Nothing matched & felt like they just picked up stuff from a garage sale. The outside was amazing, was just shocked about the interior. Some simple improvements could make this space amazing. We loved how quiet it was & area location.

Overall we enjoyed our vacation. Canal deck and tiki hut were lovely. Fun watching the fish in the water. Friendly neighbor. Pool was very nice but so cold we could not use the first week. It’s only heated dependent upon the weather. If you have some cooler weather, you’re out of luck. Beds were all comfortable. Living room Furniture was so very uncomfortable. Hard to sit on for any length of time. Could not access the air conditioning. So hot in the house you couldn’t sleep at night. Had to leave all the bedroom doors open and use the fans. Found out the hard way why they had so many fans in the closets. Kitchen was very sparsely stocked. Dishes and pans not the best. Did have nice washer and dryer in the garage. Nice to be able to wash the towels and sheets. The towels and sheets were all very old and desperately need to be replaced. Desperately! Towels were all pulled and many were stained. All the sheets and towels were totally mismatched. Not a full set of anything. Really gross. The light over the dining table had several bulbs out. Lighting in general was poor throughout the house. The chaise lounges by the pool looked lovely however we turned the cushions over and they were all ripped. It’s truly a shame as it wouldn’t take a huge investment in this property to give it a real wow factor!! To see it advertised as “renovated throughout” was a slight misrepresentation. The master bath needs work. Shower tile floor nasty. Sadly wont be back.

Perfect family vacation home!

We loved the covered lanai and pool, and the nice shade and breeze that the tiki hut on the dock provided. The house was well furnished and equipped. The property is a little too far for a walk to the beach, but there is a wagon and bikes to help get you there. We loved driving to Tiger Tail beach and the adventure walking across the bay to get to the beach! (We carried the beach chairs and toys provided from the house). The grill was perfect for dinner in and our favorite restaurants were Speakeasy and Snook Inn, and Doreen’s for brunch! We loved the property and had a wonderful time!
