This unique log accent cabin is right on peaceful Lake Ashley. 7Provides spectacular lake views from the 1,200 square foot deck where you can hear loons call and watch hummingbirds feed. Huge glass windows in the 32-foot-tall great room, a loft-like library, dining room, kitchen and bedrooms also offer stunning views of the crystal clear turquoise water and mountain fall.

This 5,500 square foot home offers six bedrooms and three full bathrooms with Brazilian tiger hardwood floors, porcelain tile, wood stairs and trusses, and a stone gas fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes stainless steel appliances, gas stove, and a Vermont Castings BBQ right outside the door.

This beautiful home is right on Ashley Lake. The lake is gorgeous and there is plenty of privacy and a great big deck to sit and have coffee or drinks while enjoying the view. We were a family of 11 and our ages ranged from 4 to 76. We all had plenty to do and got a real chance to enjoy a wonderful family time. The kids loved the waterslide and the dock was a great place to sunbathe and relax. Our host, Ken, was very responsive when we had questions or needed a little something done. Absolutely nothing negative to say about our stay. It was great!

Its really cool. The house is big enough to be comfortable for our large family. Love the front yard and sandbox options for our littles. But that Lake steals the show, incomparable. House required some maintenance while we were there, and a couple little things at check in, but we're going back, just nothing like it anywhere. Thx Ken and Audrey for all the hard work, We have another memory that will last a lifetime....

Such a great place to host a large group. Ken is incredibly helpful and responsive. The location is amazing, right on the water with a fun waterslide that everyone of all ages enjoys. The room setup is also very comfortable and accommodating. We absolutely love staying here and can’t wait to come back!

Lake is so beautiful; colors are tropical! Plenty of room for families; layout of house worked great!! Spent lots of time in the water and the waterslide was a huge hit. Lake access is pretty much from the dock; no beach area by water.

Great

Loved the location. Lake is amazing with great trails for ATv’s. Only bummer was a storm came through that left us without power and internet for 10 hours. Cabin is great. We’d go again

Ashley Lake

Beautiful property and great host, very attentive to our needs. House is beautiful, had everything we needed! Lots of space, both inside and out. Great kitchen to cook large family meals, comfy beds with nice linens. The water slide is so much fun for all ages, along with the kayaks. The lake itself is breathtaking, crystal clear. There is a long dirt road you take to the home, however it is well maintained and definitely worth it!! We would definitely stay here again!!

We are a family of 16 (13 adults and 3 young children). We had a lovely time! So many things to do. If a place can feel intimate yet also leave room for introverts to have their own space, this is it! On top of that, Ashley Lake is a spectacular setting!A few small things popped up that weren’t really a big deal to us, Ken was very quick to reply and thank us for letting him know so he could look into them and addressWhole family left wondering when we can come back.

Fantastic Family Lake House

House worked great for 6 kids under 10 and 8 adults. We could all fit at the table for meals. Kitchen was well equipped and 2nd refrigerator was great. We stayed for a week and only left the property once for the red bus tour in Glacier. We did grab additional groceries on the way back from Glacier. The local managers were very helpful. I highly recommend this property if you want a beautiful spot to spend with your group for the week👍

Lake House

The Ashley Lake property was perfect for our family! We loved all the room in the house and the outside activities that were provided. The kids loved the slide and the adults and kids loved the kayacks and the hot tub! Everyone enjoyed hanging out in the lake together and viewing the lake every sunrise and sunset from the balcony. It was awesome! Thank you for a well stocked home througout. The DiBiase/Family

Paradise

Utah's best vacation rentals was not helpful nor did they return my phone calls however Ken and Audrey the old owners of the home and the caretakers were amazing to work with. The warmness and hospitality was next to none. They were more than helpful and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. The property was clean and beautiful and everything we wanted. We had an amazing week full of beautiful memories. The vacation rental company on the other hand I would not recommend.

Awesome Vacation Retreat

What a wonderful, memorable time our family had at this beautiful mountain retreat on the lake. Five families (16 people) with children 3-19 years of age enjoyed this spacious, well-decorated home. Everything was set up perfectly for big family gatherings; the property and home was immaculate and well maintained.The younger grandkids loved the "magic room" and playground, the older kids played ping pong and relaxed in the hot tub while the adults enjoyed the awesome deck and fantastic view of the lake. The kitchen had everything we needed for any type of cooking, all six bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, the great room with gorgeous fireplace was the favorite place to be at the end of the day. To experience the beauty of Montana with a lakeside view, this is the place to be; we highly recommend it and hope to return again!

Oh my goodness, loved it. For starters, Ashley Lake is probably the most beautiful lake I've ever seen. And the yard, fire pit, deck...well, every morning drinking coffee overlooking this lake, kind of spectacular. And then the house, great bedrooms and bathrooms. Spaces for our littles, room to be together and apart. Beautiful. A couple little things, the entry to the dock could be improved, a couple shades fixed here and there, but we stay in VRBOs a fair amount and i would not hesitate to give this a 5 star rating. Jus sayin, my parting prayer was Dear Lord, thank you for letting us come, please let us come again!

Beautiful lakeside property

Beautiful spacious house, with modern amenities. Was a comfortable fit for my family gathering of 12. My only complaint was the owner of the property has a camper also on the grounds of the property and was staying there at the same time I had the home rented. He did not inform me he, his wife, and grandson would be there as well. It was uncomfortable knowing others were there. I didn’t feel we could use the outside of the property and have privacy. The owner also entered the home without my consent while I was away and my minor child was in the home alone. Otherwise, the home itself is beautiful and accurately described in the listing.

Horrible communication. Gross hot tub. Wasted one of the few nights there.

Worse communication I’ve experienced for a vacation rental. Expect 2-3 days (if you get a response at all) for each message. The filter on the hot tub was disgusting. Hence, the hot tub was pretty gross. Tried changing out the water but it took a few days to warm up so there was a cold “hot tub”. The refrigerator broke upstairs. The owner came with a new one but we wasted one of the nights there moving the fridge in for him with no kind of thanks given from the owner.

You can check the validity of this renters comments by referencing 27 other 4 and 5 star reviews. The actual response times recorded on the VRBO site show responses were typically minutes not days. Professional cleaners stated "These are the worst renters we have ever experienced."They broke a number of items and threw silverware and plates in garbage.This required the cleaners to work an EXTRA 8 hrs cleaning. I drove 7.5 hrs to purchase and deliver a new fridge for them in under 24 hrs. They helped me unload for about 40 min. I gave them many thanks for their assistance as I was alone. The hot tub electrical problem has been identified and repaired. Fortunately almost all renters are wonderful which keeps us wanting to serve them well

Great property TERRIBLE management company

The house was very nice but I will never rent from this management company again. The communication was almost non-existant. They called me the day before check-in to tell be the AC was broken and a repairman would be coming to fix it. When that didn't happen I called them and the girl I talked with knew nothing about it but would have someone call me. That never happened. When we returned home I again called them to ask for a small refund, again the girl I talked to said she would have a manager call me. That never happened. DO NOT USE Utah's Best Vacation Rentals.

This place was as amazing as it looks, even better than the photos! I had my 30th birthday here and the water IS as turquoise as it looks in the photos. The place was a dream. So big and accommodating, comfy beds, and the master was one of the best places I have stayed. The dock is different than the photos, it is actually way bigger and juts out to the left. Plenty of outdoor seating with picnic tables, great lawn in the front, 10/10 hot tub, 2 kayaks (please go kayak!). I will be back! It is off the beaten path, and if you drive on the gravel road you'll see lots of wild life. DEFINITELY prepare getting groceries beforehand because it's a haul. Took 2 hrs to get to Lake McDonald, so prepare for drive into GNP. Loved loved loved our stay.

This house was awesome! The views were incredible!

Great house for a family vacation! There was more than enough room for all 16 of us and the kids had a blast in the secret room. The views are incredible! We went middle of October and the dock was already pulled (which was a bummer) but understandable. The gravel road to get to the house is long, but worth it. We would rent again!

Perfect Montana family reunion!

We just could not have loved this place more. We had a family vacation with several family units, babies, and kids. There was a bedroom for everyone, comfortable beds, so many bathrooms, wonderful kitchen, etc. We especially loved using the hot tub and jumping in the lake. There were kayaks, a GREAT water slide and lots of odds and ends for kids. The only "downside" or upside depending on your preference, is the long drive to get anywhere. It took over an hour to get to Glacier, about 45 minutes to Kalispell. If that's what you're looking for, this is the place! But if you want to spend more time seeing local things, it is out of the way. It really is 10/10, LOVED it!!

Spectacular

Ok so after staying here for 6 days with 21 people I'm going to give you the good, the bad, and the ugly. First let me start with the good! This house was spectacular. And I truly mean spectacular!!!!! It had any possible thing you could need to have an amazing vacation. They had bikes, paddle boards, a swim mat, kayaks, canoes, water slide, ANY appliance you could possibly think of. TWO refrigerators, double ovens, and so much more to even list. Upon arrival the house was very clean. Towels for everyone were left out for each person to grab and even the kitchen was stocked full of almost any spice you could need. The fire pit had lots of chairs and even sticks for smores!!! When I say they have thought of every detail in this house I truly mean it! LET ME BE CLEAR. WE DID NOT HAVE A SINGLE PROBLEM WHILE STAYING HERE. Looking at other reviews I had a little worry when booking but upon staying there was not one thing that went wrong in this house!!!! So don't let the bad reviews deter you from booking this home!!! Every single person who stayed here were talking about coming back to this house again. And for good reason. Now for the "bad". Honestly the only three things I wish could have been different was.. 1. The distance from the park. (which I knew how far when I booked. This is NOT an owner problem)... to many glacier is 3.5 hours and to the west entrance was about an hour and 50 minutes.. keep that in mind when you plan to visit the park multiple days. 2. The road to the house is 9 miles of gravel. Although it wasn't bad it also wasn't great. (the house for sure made up for this) 3. I absolutely wish the owner would do some landscaping outback. Cut some trees to see the lake more clearly and also pull up the weeds and such right off the lower level. But again this would NOT keep us from staying. It just would have been the "icing on the cake" Finally the ugly... I don't have anything to say in this category bc everything was just so incredible. As for commenting on the owners response time... It wasn't "great" but he did eventually answer. The trick is to text him on the number provided instead of the VRBO messages. He did always get back to me it just took a bit sometimes. I think he's a really nice guy and I loved staying in his house. Over all 12/10 recommend this for a nice vacation spot. KEN WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!

Magical Place on a Serene Lake

We had a great time and Ken was very responsive. This place is down a loooong gravel road and is on beautiful Lake Ashley. We brought paddle boards and canoes and had a blast. The lake is very serene and uncrowded. He has life jackets, bbq, one paddleboard, various water toys, and a lovely dock. There is a bit of deferred maintenance on the house; ac doesn’t seem to work upstairs. The washer broke while we were there; the upstairs was not vacuumed at all; it was all very dusty; the kids were finding uneaten old candy somewhere; we found lots of trash in the playroom . In the kitchen was most everything we needed to cook our special diets from scratch. All in all though, after we vacuumed, we really enjoyed this amazing place. Plenty of beds and baths, lovely views. Where can you find room for our whole giant family? The nature and the views cannot be beat. The lake is fun. I would recommend this property to the right group.
