As a traveler, you'll appreciate the main cabin's thoughtful amenities, including free WIFI, a washing machine and dryer, 2 TVS and games for your entertainment. The fully stocked kitchen is a chef's dream, with a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, and all the necessary appliances and utensils to prepare delicious meals.

Spotless Lake house Retreat

We absolutely loved staying at the Hummingbird Lake House! The setting is beautiful, the cabin was immaculate, Sherry and Craig were very accommodating. We highly recommend taking a vacation there!

Beautiful Place

We had a blast at this property. It was easy to get to and had a great boat ramp for us to use. We loved the place and would stay there again.

Perfect rental for our family!

This is our second stay at the Hummingbird Lake House. It has been perfect in every way. The cleanliness & entire set up for space, activities, & furnishings is wonderful! It was fun to catch fish right off the dock & also to boat this time. We definitely are wishing for a return trip very soon! Thanks so much for a most relaxing week.

Awesome lake house!

Hummingbird House is a treasure on beautiful Ashley lake. It is super clean, cute and very well stocked. Sherry and her husband met us at the property to show us around. We loved sitting on the deck, fishing with provided equipment from the little pedal boat, SUPing and bird watching. So quiet and calm. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us!

Paradise on Earth

Fantastic views. Reminded us of the Caribbean. Enjoyed fishing in the morning and sitting by the fire at night. Enjoyed nightly visits of young deer walking through the yard. The hosts were fantastic. They meet us at check in and answered all our questions. We will definitely return.

Our favorite place!

We have been staying at the Hummingbird House for the last 4 summers. It’s a great property for our family of 5. The house is clean and has everything we need. Sherry always leaves some special treats for us and is quick to respond to any question or concern. It’s so nice to be able to launch a boat from the property. We had a great week swimming, paddleboarding, and boating. The beauty of Ashley Lake is unsurpassed. It truly is our favorite place!

Very nice clean cabin on absolutely gorgeous lake

Our stay at the cabin was very enjoyable. Sherry was very responsive to all our questions and needs. The cabin is very cozy and well maintained with its own boat ramp and deck overlooking beautiful lake Ashley. Our only suggestion would be the addition of more comfortable outdoor furniture to relax on besides the metal chairs.

Lake Cabin

Beautiful home with all the amenities needed to feel at home. It was so peaceful and relaxing! The deck on the lake is perfect to sit and watch the water and wildlife. We enjoyed the fire pit too! The beds were very comfortable and warm. Location is easy to get to and not far from Flathead/Kalispell for other activities. Highly recommended and hope to come back again!

Perfect Lake House

Stayed here with a 7 and 9 year old. Loved the paddle boat, fire pit and especially the extra tiny cabin. Kids slept there and took it over as their own. Beautiful views, quiet, deer, hummingbirds, rabbits on the property everyday. Just perfect

Ideal property and location for a family vacation.

Our family of 5 had an amazing time at Ashley Lake. The house had everything we needed, the lake is absolutely beautiful and we had so much to do. We played cornhole and darts and spent a lot of time outside enjoying the weather and the view. We really appreciated the provided fishing gear and were able to catch fish off the paddle boat as well as the dock in the early evening. We had a hard time leaving and would love to come back again someday.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time reconnecting as a family away from all the worldly distractions. The lake is beautiful. You can see straight to the floor of the lake. It was amazingly clear. The water was cold so we did not do as much swimming as the kids wanted. We did play catch, watched movies, played board games, paddle boarded, kayaked, rented a jet ski, and just made forever lasting memories. We had such a great time spending time together.

A piece of heavwn

Hummingbird house was so nice. The owners were wonderful ! Met us and showed us around. Left us smores fixings for firepit. The house was immaculate. A wonderful and well stocked kitchen. Nice grill. We grilled some wonderful local steaks one night. Enjoyed the paddle boat and caught fish. Saw so many deer, turkeys on the way in and out every day. Lots of good pics. I would love to come back and just stay at the cabin all day every day. Great place to unplug and relax.

Ashley Lake is beautiful!

Just returned from a week at this great home. Ashley Lake is beautiful, calm and peaceful. Home is well equipped with what we needed. Short drive into Kalispell for groceries if needed. Loved that the home has such easy access to the water. Everyone loved the pedal boat for fishing, which was a success every trip out. Extra cabin was super fun for the kids. It was great to "unplug" for a week with no internet access, but at the same time, would have been nice to have when planning activities away from the lake. Thanks so much for a great week. We will definitely return!

Hummingbird Lake House

I cannot say enough great things about this property. From the very start, the owners had great communication.and made sure we had exact directions. They were there to greet us when we arrived to show us where everything was. They even had crawlers for us to fish, right off the dock. Everything was perfect! It was very clean, all new appliances (high quality), comfortable beds, and everything we needed for our week stay. I am very particular about staying anywhere other than my home (my husband can attest to that). This is the first time ever I had no complaints. Beautiful property - the owners renovated and did everything right.

A great house on the best lake!

Our family of 5 has spent a week here each of the past 3 summers. Most of the rentals on Ashley Lake are on the other end of the lake but we love the quiet on this end. We brought kayaks and paddle boards and rented a boat for the week so we had lots of ways to get around on the water. The weather wasn’t great at the beginning of the week but it warmed up and we spent several days exhausting ourselves in the sun and water. We cooked all our meals at the house and we had everything we needed. Sherry even reached out to find out some of our favorite treats and had those waiting for us. We appreciate that the house is always clean and well-maintained. It’s a great house on the best lake. We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Happy Family @ the Hummingbird Lake House

This was our first stay at the Hummingbird Lake House on Ashley Lake and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our group was myself, my 73 y/o mother, my two brothers and their wives, and my 1 y/o neice and 3 y/o nephew. The main house and smaller cabin were perfect for our group. My brother, his wife, and kids stayed in the smaller cabin. My mother, brother, and sister in law in the main house. We were all quite comfortable! The house is fully equipped with everything and anything you might need in the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as lots of games and movies! The yard was lovely complete with horse shoes, dart board, corn hole, fire pit, and sun deck (as we called it), overlooking the lake. We enjoyed sunning, reading, and swimming at the dock every day! Several of our party took the paddle boat out for a spin and had fun with that too. Sherri and her husband met at at the house to show us around and to answer any questions and we all found that to be really helpful. I would highly recommend staying at this property…we did not want to leave!!

We loved the Hummingbird House!

We couldn't have been happier with our stay at the Hummingbird House on beautiful Ashley Lake! We were impressed with how clean the cabin was, and how beautifully decorated it was as well. The views of the lake were breath taking. The owners were so kind and helpful. We appreciated their welcome gift too-how thoughtful! Surprisingly our entire family enjoyed playing with the dart board, horse shoe pit and corn hole game (all in such nice condition by the way) The smaller cabin alongside the main house was perfect for my father-in-law who vacationed with us. He was able to escape the grandkids whenever he wanted a little more peace and quiet. We were also impressed with the amount of storage space in the cabin. We had plenty of room to unpack and settle in. My teenage son was very impressed with the speed of the WIFI. We had some delightful sightings of the lunes on the lake too-and appreciated the binoculars that were provided. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed be able to cook. We rented kayaks and had very easy access to the lake from the boat dock. (We did try the owner's paddleboat, but honestly we prefer kayaks) We fell in love with this property and hope to return again soon!

I have stayed at many VRBO's over the years and this one is 5+ Stars for both management services, location & scenery, accommodations, and privacy !!!!!!! I could repeat all said from previous VRBO residents who have stayed here, but I won't ! All I will say is that they have the Hummingbird "pegged" perfectly !!!! Don't miss this location if you want to enjoy Montana. We literally had the lake to ourselves for our nine night / ten day stay at the Hummingbird ...... and our only mistake was not being able to stay longer !!!!!! You won't want to leave when your time is up at the Hummingbird !! Highlights / Notes of our trip : 1) Sherry is one fabulous owner/manager ! She communicates well, very responsive and always is checking-in to make sure "everything is ok" !!!! Nice to lease from someone who really cares how you are doing on holiday / vacation. 2) Hummingbird is absolutely in perfect location for peaceful & private setting, great view & sunsets, perfect sized lake for recreation and very clean / well equipped in everyway. All you need to bring is your food and beverages ........ truly a well equipped lake home ! About one hour to Glacier Natl Park -- easy drive .... you must do Glacier Natl --- it is truly a beautiful & scenic national park with many memorable views !! 3) Hummingbird has a two person paddleboat -- fun !!!! But if you really want to experience Ashley Lake, strongly suggest that you rent a pontoon boat from Kalispell area and use on the 3-4 mile long x 1/2 mile wide lake. The lake is crystal clear, private access to residents and lots of good fishing spots ! Also perfect to tubing, water skiing, and even jet skis !!!!!! 4) Sunsets across the lake from the Hummingbird are fantastic, especially sitting out by the firepit in the evenings ! The fresh Montana air, crackling fire and view of lake/sunset kept us up many nights until midnight as we did not want to go back indoors and miss anything !! Also had our share of chipmunks, eagles, deer & of course, many Hummingbirds on the property --- not a bother but fun to have roaming thru the back yard ! We could go on & on, but believe us, you will want to go back to the Hummingbird after being there once ! Accurately described in VRBO --- so be assured you are getting a first class property, managed by wonderful owners that will make your vacation to Montana memorable and too short in time !! The Adams's from Texas !!!!
