The property was very nice and clean. It had everything for a wonderful experience and the beds were very comfortable. The polar plunge in 63 degree water in September was a highlight when the whole family jumped in.

Pride of ownership in this very clean home. We felt very comfortable and safe here and loved how clean and organized everything was.

Our family had a wonderful stay here....beautiful property, cozy cabins, and equipped with all the necessities of home. The owners were so helpful and communicative, and answered any questions we had. Our kids enjoyed fishing off the dock, and others paddled out in peddle boat to fish and relax. BBQ'd and enjoyed sitting out on the deck. There were adult and kids games, and DVD's to watch at night. We will come back, it was a super enjoyable family vacation stay.

Our stay was excellent in every way! This was our third stay at this home, & we always find it hard when it’s time to leave. The hosts are great to check on any needs & quick to respond with questions! The hummingbirds this year were plentiful & we so enjoyed them & relaxing on the lake & fishing!

Beautiful Place

We had a blast at this property. It was easy to get to and had a great boat ramp for us to use. We loved the place and would stay there again.

Spotless Lake house Retreat

We absolutely loved staying at the Hummingbird Lake House! The setting is beautiful, the cabin was immaculate, Sherry and Craig were very accommodating. We highly recommend taking a vacation there!

Perfect lake place

We had the perfect week at the lake. Sherry and Craig were amazing hosts! They shared great fishing location tips. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook at the property. The house is gorgeous and cozy and fun. The location on the lake is ideal. The hardest thing we had to do was leave. We can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and these hosts!

Outstanding

Love the hummingbird house, it’s our 4th time there and we will continue trying to go yearly! Lots to do movies, streaming, darts, lake activities, fire pit…… you don’t need to leave!

Perfect rental for our family!

This is our second stay at the Hummingbird Lake House. It has been perfect in every way. The cleanliness & entire set up for space, activities, & furnishings is wonderful! It was fun to catch fish right off the dock & also to boat this time. We definitely are wishing for a return trip very soon! Thanks so much for a most relaxing week.

Covid-19 get away

The cabin was beautiful! The lake is the most beautiful blue, and amazingly clear. Our hosts were very kind and helpful. They even had worms for fishing, and ingredients for s’mores at the cabin for us. We wanted a get away to escape all the craziness, and this was perfect!!

Awesome lake house!

Hummingbird House is a treasure on beautiful Ashley lake. It is super clean, cute and very well stocked. Sherry and her husband met us at the property to show us around. We loved sitting on the deck, fishing with provided equipment from the little pedal boat, SUPing and bird watching. So quiet and calm. Thank you for sharing your paradise with us!

Paradise on Earth

Fantastic views. Reminded us of the Caribbean. Enjoyed fishing in the morning and sitting by the fire at night. Enjoyed nightly visits of young deer walking through the yard. The hosts were fantastic. They meet us at check in and answered all our questions. We will definitely return.

Our favorite place!

We have been staying at the Hummingbird House for the last 4 summers. It’s a great property for our family of 5. The house is clean and has everything we need. Sherry always leaves some special treats for us and is quick to respond to any question or concern. It’s so nice to be able to launch a boat from the property. We had a great week swimming, paddleboarding, and boating. The beauty of Ashley Lake is unsurpassed. It truly is our favorite place!
