Nice to be right on the lake! This cabin is very peaceful. Easy to get to places like Big Rapids and Cadillac as well as other nearby locations

This was a great spot for a quick weekend getaway. It was quaint, and cozy with good appliances & well-stocked accessories - kitchen tools, towels, blankets, patio furniture & cushions, 2 kayaks w/ paddles, gas-fire heatbox, and beautiful water access.

There's so many things for us to say. We're not quite sure where to start. We loved that the one side property was just very private and very quiet and no one home next door. It is on a lake, sound travels of course and we heard boaters, music, people laughing, enjoying the weekend, and that was awesome. We bought water and some other items at the dollar general but the grocery store is 10 minutes away and you can get anything you need, including firewood. ( very nice people there) We leaned about the history of the area and found it fascinating. It is one of the most 'ghost town' areas (as it's described online) and we spent time on the water, making food and playing the games we brought. There is Baldwin kayaking for Pere Marquette river kayaking, canoe or raft and it was a blast...and BEAUTIFUL. Loved our little getaway for four nights. The things I think might be suggestions or concerns we wrote to the owners.The owners were very great about communication..If you want to watch t.v. Just make a Hotspot. We brought a thin rug from home for the door to the deck for our sand and such. Super clean place too with cute décor.Thanks for everything.

The cottage was as described, cozy yet comfortable. The location on the lake front is ideal.The cottage was well stocked with creature comforts, utensils for cooking and BBQ and firepit.I would return again should I visit the area in the future.

The check in was simple and easy. The home was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We had everything we needed to enjoy the home and the beautiful Idlewild Lake. Great host, I would definitely stay hear again.

This is a very nice cottage,very clean, well thought out with very nice amenities, in a quiet location.. We look forward to a return visit.

Beautiful lake house. Felt right at home. Very clean. Location is perfect right in the heart of Idlewild down the road from Paradise Park. I would definitely book again! 10/10!

Nice relaxing weekend

We had a nice weekend with our dogs and had a last minute scheduling that the hosts were accommodating of. Their communication was timely and I formative.

Stay was again wonderful like last year. There was an issue with cottage and owners were contacted and the problem was resolved very quickly. This is a great scenic, quiet, and centrally located place to stay on Lake Idlewild. I look forward to it again next year.
