Nice little cottage. We reallly enjoyed our brief stay. The wildlife greeted us while we enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck.

I was intrigued by this property and suspected it was attached to a single family home (and it is). There is a separate entrance and parking for guests. The cottage photos on VRBO looked cute, but in person it was so much better! We loved it. There were small touches that added so much to our trip. The cottage has lovely lighting, terrific flooring, and great linens. The small washer and dryer work very well and Rob has all the soaps and stuff you'll need to do some laundry.There is a closet with space for clothes and pegs on the walls to hang jackets and clothes. There are extra pillows and blankets in the closet. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking small meals and there is a coffee maker and lots of coffee options to select from. They even have a water filter in the fridge and lots of ice ready in the freezer. There are two "TV tables" that you can use and a desk and two chairs if you want to use them. We took the TV tables outside for a lovely breakfast on the deck. I felt so much at home in this space and we really enjoyed the stay. If you're planning to head out to dinner nearby -- we loved The Scenic Lounge in Rochester, NH and Stalk in Dover, NH. Both locations were within about 30 minutes and outstanding food and service.

While not isolated, this setting is totally private. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the chill of the morning. The interior is stunning. A beautiful get away.

Quiet Getaway

We had a great time at the Rose Cottage. Quiet, central to all our travels, and the hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Maine at its best!!

There aren’t enough words to describe how much we enjoyed our stay at the Red Rose Cottage. Set in the beautiful countryside of Maine, no better place to rest and relax. It was our first stay but not our last.

Overall, we were very pleased, we will look into the availability of this listing on our next visit.It could use a room darkening shade next to the bed, the morning sun is quite bright and a non-skid shower mat.

We enjoyed the quite setting of this rustic get- away. The cottage was very clean with all of the amenities we needed. The communication with the owners was very easy and responsive.

The perfect Maine escape

The Rose Cottage was just right for my week away! I appreciated the size of the space, the full-ish kitchen, and the very luxurious bed. Distance wise, it’s a hike to Portland, but under an hour to southern Maine beaches. I loved my stay!

Good Value

Was a great home base for us while visiting friends and family in the area. Enjoyed watching the all the deer, especially the does and fawns come through the yard on a regular basis.

Super Pleased

Very pleased with this location and the owners. We have stayed here before and will stay here again! Kayleigh and Rob and great managers and after having been there for a month, I am super pleased with their attention to detail and wanting to make sure I was happy.

Super Pleased

My husband and I with our pups were super pleased to stay at this little cottage. Clean, quiet and very cozy! Being from Maine it was fun to see the Stephen King collection of books as an added bonus to our stay. Rob was very communicative and responsive to our questions. We loved it so much I'm going back for the whole month of Feb.

Lebanon Maine rental.

Our stay way wonderful and enjoyed the rental very much. Only down fall for me was the temp of 68 being the middle of the winter and from Florida I would of enjoyed 73 better. But that's me . I will be back!!! Thanks for all your kindness.
