The Walton house is a Large place with plenty to do. Great place for reunions, weekend get aways. House has game rooms, outside firepit, wood burning stove, you can walk into town and do antiquing, food store etc, there is also a cidery in town
Nice restaurants in town and surrounding towns, mountain view from back porch, spacious yard and driveway. Plenty of amenities and kid friendly. Hiking, canoeing, water rafting, and snowmobiling near by.
The cleaning fee will increase with guests over the amount of 6

We had a fun filled family weekend. The house was nice and big with plenty of space and beds for everyone. We really enjoyed the pool table, ping pong table, and cabinet full of games!

Place was large enough to accommodate all of us (originally planned on 9, but ended up only 6 went). So, nice to each have our own room! Only about 35 minutes to Oneonta for grandson's baseball tournament! Host was VERY gracious and easy to work with! Would definitely come back if we are in the area again.

The property was all as advertised and described - beautiful, inside and out and provided everything we needed. Very peaceful, clean and comfortable.

Walton House good night John Boy!

Very nice and quiet location about 35 to 40 minutes from All Star village. The city had a lot of cute shops!

This was our second stay at the Walton Vintage House and once again, we could not have had a better experience. There are so many nice amenities, from the private backyard area to the pool and ping pong rooms, and the multiple sitting areas, there was something for everyone in our multi-generational group (great toy selections for the toddlers!). We will plan on returning again!

Family rental

We were in town for our sister's wedding. The house was very charming and had lots for our kids to do! Loved it!

Walton get away

spacious older home. Accommodated our family of 8. It was walkable to the village center.

First getting to the property host would not answer was stuck outside waiting for a reply for 40 minutes. Vrbo could not get a hold of them either. Offered another home (should have took it) but host finally answered. All outdoor furniture is warped and when our children sat down it immediately collapsed on them. Bathroom was full of previous tents bath supplies and dirty rags. Bathroom tub would clog we all eventually had to use one shower. All spices were expired. Ping pong table is all taped together. The entire home is poorly maintained. The upstairs amenities were full of clothes. There were so many baby stuff everywhere. We suffered through it due to our son playing in the Cooperstown tournament and nothing else was available for the amount of time we needed. I will never return or recommend this place to anyone.

I am sorry you need to say such negative things, You waited several minutes outside because a direction to entry was sent but Vrbo sent to wrong person as there were two Michelles listed and the wrong one was sent the information. For that I am sorry. but everything you are saying is untrue and because I asked to be reimbursed for damages and extra extra cleaning, You decided to send a bad review and that is very unfortunate, I am happy with my Walton Vintage House and so are many others. Please dont be angry and I will pray for you Have a great day.

we bought this lovely house in 2006 when we were doing work in town and owned a hardware store and we would come with our family and friends for weekends to hang out to go snowmobiling canoeing etc and then when Covid happened we decided to Airbnb it because people wanted to get out of the city and come to upstate New York and the rest is history and we've been having wonderful guests ever since we've been doing this for over six years now

this has a special because it was built in the early 1900s or late 1800s. And it has plenty of space we have all kinds of entertainment like ping-pong, pool, and games for kids. We have bicycles, a fire pit, wood-burning stove. so if it's a rainy day and you can't go out, there's always something fun to do inside and it's a nice gathering place for family or friends
and you can walk to town to get any of your shopping needs or if you just wanna go to a restaurant
