Elko Trip from Texas

The house was warm and cozy when we arrived. It was very clean and well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and the neighbors waved. Definitely recommend this host and house! If we come back to Elko for the summer, definitely will request this home again!

Great place

The house is nice and cozy. The bed could be at lease queen sizes instead of doubles. And they need to put different shower mates that are not wood to slippery. But over all to would highly recommend this place.

Close and Comfortable

The house was exactly what we needed for our visit to Elko. It’s just outside the city, so you can enjoy the stars without much light pollution, but drive to downtown in under ten minutes. Brandon is a gracious host. We would love to stay here again!!

Newly built house with views

We wanted to stay somewhere that wasnt a hotel or a casino. This is a fairly new 3 bedroom 2 bath house. It had all the kitchen gear and plenty of toom.

Almost perfect; we'll stay here again.

The house was very clean and comfortable, and communication with the owner was good. Overall, the house was fine; I’m giving 4 stars overall instead of 5 because I feel that a couple of things would benefit future guests. We couldn't find a toaster; the kitchen was well-equipped otherwise. (Bagels are my favorite vacation breakfast!) The beds and living room furniture were comfortable, but there are no lamps on any of the end-tables or nightstands. I relax in the evenings by reading or knitting. The overhead-only lighting made these activities too uncomfortable. While there are chairs and a fire pit in the front, there is no patio furniture in the back. The views are wonderful, and we’d have liked to enjoy our mornings outside before the heat of the day kicked in. We didn’t want to lug the chairs around the house. A couple of basic housekeeping tasks would be beneficial. We had to scrounge a lightbulb from the back patio as all of the front outdoor lights were burned out, and the windows could use a wash. We did enjoy our stay, and we'd like to stay here again on our future visits to Elko.

Home away from home

Exactly what we needed, everything was as listed and more. Comfort and privacy at its finest, host was readily available and communicative. Being here was truly a home away from home.

Decent place to stay but had some issues

Overall this place was decent but there were some things that weren’t ideal to pay for. - The sink in the hallway bathroom was clogged and very slow to drain. - The tile floors all felt sticky, gross. - There were cracks all over the floors & the walls - Things felt like it needed to be updated: rusted shower bar, old cabinets - There was crumbs inside drawers with silverware and other things, yuck! - There were MASSIVE crickets that could eat a human, alllll over the house. It was absolutely terrifying!!!! We ultimately needed a place to sleep and we were gone all day for a family reunion, but we felt like things could still be a little cleaner and nicer.

Wedding Weekend

We were here for a wedding and this house was perfect. We had plenty of room and the neighborhood is very quiet. It was really nice. We had everything that we needed.

Decent place to stay

Not a bad place to stay overall. Beds, bathrooms, and linens were clean; but the floors were not vacuumed. We did run out of toilet paper so had to buy some of our own. As another review stated, the blinds in the dining area were broken so you can't enjoy the view. Internet/wifi was painfully slow. Thankfully I brought a hotspot with me. Cookware was clean, dishwasher + washer/dryer was great to use.

Great Family Friendly home away from home

This GiGi and Papa got to enjoy Easter with our teenagers and grand kids and it was such a blessing this year. The house was great its well loved . Furniture was comfy and cozy. The kids all loved the bean bag seats . They were so cool. We even got to show the grandkids their first "neighborhood" peacock. Like a real peacock it was awesome. Our only requests would be a larger master bed and access to a vacuum, but we did the best we could with the broom and it worked out fine.

Great Country Home, Couldn't be better

We had a great stay at this country home. The house looks brand new. Very enjoyable. We had a minor issue and the owner / property manager was very responsive and took care of it immediately. I would stay here again!

Look down on Elko from the heights!

Warm and comfortable home exactly as advertised. All amenities available inside. View of Elko and mountains superb. Large, comfortable family room with plenty of seating. Great for families/groups. Truly 5 minutes to city. Brandon easy to contact and knowledgeable of area. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay

This home is beautiful and as advertised. I stayed two different times for a total of almost 2 months. The house is clean, comfortable, and has everything that you need. I would definitely stay here again.

The home was as advertised, amd maybe even better. It was clean, comfortable, amd had everything that I needed for my one-month stay. The host was extremely responsive and friendly. I would stay here again and would highly recommend!

Lovely Home

Our family loved our stay at this beautiful home. The photos depicted the home spot on. The reason for only 4 stars was given because there was no toaster to make toast for our breakfast of eggs. The neighborhood was very peaceful.Great location for exploring the beautiful Ruby Mountains.

Didn’t full our expectations but still a kind of nice place

We find scorpion on the bathroom, the blinds were broken on the dining, need black out curtains in the rooms, was father to downtown then we expected fringe didn’t work completely the ice maker and the water that’s was broken that’s was an inconvenience unfortunately the Mormon crickets didn’t allow to enjoy outside time
