Cozy cabin in gorgeous countryside

Terrific base camp for lots of adventures! Highly recommend … watching the horses play was an absolute treat. So much take do in this area … hiking, music and art festivals, excellent restaurants.

Horse country vacation

Friendly and helpful hosts. Well-appointed cabin in a rural setting. We enjoyed our stay and would (and have )recommended it to our friends.

Father son weekend

We hiked approximately 6 miles on the NCR trail, and had just a great time relaxing in the countryside.

Christmas vacation

It was a perfect spot to reflect on the holiday and past year. We were able to connect with friends and family in the area and come back to a quiet, serene environment for rest. Snow dusting and horses on xmas eve morning with coffee-PERFECT!

Escape to the country side

We had the best time in Monkton, from the moment we arrived until check out. Phil and Nancy were welcoming hosts and made us feel at home. The cabin is perfect for a getaway for two. We cooked dinner in and made breakfast and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Plus, the surrounding area was full of places to golf, hike, and explore.

Fantastic, cozy cabin

My wife and I were charmed from the time we arrived until the time we departed. The host and hostess warmly welcomed us when we arrived and had prepared the cabin with everything necessary to make us feel like we were in a special place. The cabin is located in the heart of the beautiful horse country of northern Maryland and the views were stunning. We know where we'll be staying next time we overnight in the area!

Property was beautiful. A working boarding house for horses in the country. Coffee in the morning on the porch. Horses just out the windows in the morning. Owners let us get apples and carrots for horse treats. It was perfect. Peaceful. Clean.

Just spent a long weekend in the Baltimore suburbs visiting our grandkids, age 2 1/2, and 14 mos. This cozy cabin was an oasis after a day of building forts, playing hide and seek, and running after two very busy little boys! First, I can't say enough about Nancy and Phil as hosts. They were over-the-top efficient, friendly, and helpful. And they have created the perfect place to rest your bones while traveling. After a long drive in from Ohio, Nancy greeted us warmly and gave us an orientation of the cabin. and a lovely platter of cheese, fruit, and bottle of wine was waiting for us on the table. Such a nice touch.The two bedroom, one bath cabin is set in the middle of a beautiful horse farm. In the morning we saw the horses grazing and playing, as we had our coffee. The region known as "My Lady's Manor" is alive with breathtaking pastoral views all around, truly a relaxing place to land after a long day.The cabin itself is exquisitely decorated with an equestrian vibe and impeccably maintained. The shower is phenomenal and the king bed is so comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped for every need. We loved it and can't wait to return.We highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to unwind and restore!Thank you to Nancy and Phil for offering such great accommodations.

Beautiful nice cabin on a working horse farm. Hosts Phil and Nancy are very nice and accommodating. . We enjoyed watching the horses in the fields. We visited the stables and got to see a horse getting a trim!
