This 1940's farm cottage sits surrounded by open space. The area is in the Saugatucket River valley, in a little known hamlet called Mooresfield. This home is a rustic mini-working farm. There are many gardens and outdoor spaces here to enjoy peacefully after a long day of adventure. With a central South County location, the cottage is close to beaches, restaurants, shopping, rail, URI, and all points north and south. Newport is a scenic 20 minutes away. The house sits back and up from the road, and there is plenty of off street parking. The country road is sometimes busy, but that also means that it is an easy commute to anywhere you might go. A car would be needed to get around due to the rural nature of the property, but most destinations are only a 5 to 20 minute car ride away. You can stock up and never go shopping, or "run into town" for a last minute item.
