It's like going back in time, the house has a lot of character inside and out. It's the best stocked place we've ever stayed at! They have it all. Would recommend this house to anyone.itit'sthere it'sthere

Great little place in a 'quaint' little Wisconsin town

Nice, well-maintained / updated older, well-furnished home. Enough of the 'old' was left to keep the 'yesteryear' charm and enough updated to make it 21st century comfortable.3 bedrooms with comfortable beds, ample space and a nice 'smart' TV in each plus a larger screen in the living room. Would be a great place to spend a few days or a few weeks.

Let me start by saying overall, our stay was "OK at best". With that said, there was a LOT left to be desired. Listing clarification - Most of the description is pretty straight-forward, but please notate the difference between central air and a single window unit. We were VERY lucky in that the weather was very comfortable while we were there but we still had the window unit pumping FULL blast. ALL of the interior windows are storm windows with no ability to open to the outside, so we were kind of stuck with just the window unit.Cleanliness - (Note-none of this was reported during our stay as it would have been unrealistic for them to rectify during our stay). There were ants running throughout the kitchen. Most of the kitchen cabinets had cobwebs/spiderwebs through out, the coffee maker had water sitting in it from who knows how long.Response to Issues - this is where most of my frustration comes from. We had issues getting access to the home because the instructions were not. There were only 2 tv remotes for 4 tvs of which, neither were working. During our stay a smoke detector started chirping. All of these were reported to the owner but I ended up taking matters in my own hands to rectify. They did respond to these issues but between poor communication and delay in getting repairs made, we had to fix/resolve ourselves.

This property has great potential but don’t let the pictures fool you. While the listing says air conditioning, there is only one small window unit. The swing on the porch would be great if you could open the windows. The towels were dirty. The bed sheets were dirty. The floors weren’t swept as we found dog hair and medicine on the floor , and the rugs weren’t vacuumed. There was also mold stains present on the ceiling. The check in and out instructions are completely off.
