Newly added HOT-TUB! PRIVATE DOCK on the Island Park Reservoir! WATERFRONT!! BOATING! WATERSKIING! FISHING! Hygge Lakehouse is sure to “give a feeling of happiness” on your vacation to Island Park and Yellowstone National Park. Hygge Lakehouse has 5 private bedrooms and a marvelous bunk room, this remarkable new cabin sleeps 15. From the floor to ceiling windows in the living room you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the river and private dock. At Hygge Lakehouse the kitchen will have any gourmet chef blissfully happy with ample amenities for any home cooked meal, plenty of prep space and 2 full size refrigerators. The main floor master bedroom, with an en suite bathroom, has a king bed and a private television. There are two additional bedrooms on the main level with queen beds. An adjacent full bathroom and a half bath are conveniently located on the main level. Upstairs you will find two additional bedrooms with queen beds and two additional bathrooms. The younger travelers will thoroughly enjoy the marvelous bunk room, giving them plenty of space and their own 72 inch television. The wrap around covered deck allows for our guests to appreciate the outside mountain air even in inclement weather. Star gazing with the moonlight shining off the water will surely be a favorite pastime. Outdoor dining is a breeze with seating for 16 around various tables. Not to be left out is the impressive upstairs game room that is sure to be everyone’s preferred room in the house; enjoy a game of pool, play ping pong or try your hand at air hockey; all while watching the latest game on the 72-inch television. Hygge Lakehouse has 2 full size washer and dryers for the convenience of our guests.
Property does have a second cabin on-site that is a long term rental. This secondary rental has permission to access the dock. They can cross the property yard to access the dock and they have reserved the right to keep one of the three available dock spaces for a watercraft. Priority for the yard and water front area including the fire pit is solely given to our guests reserving the Hygge Lakehouse. Secondary rental is a small apartment over the detached garage with a separate entrance. Guests will not be mingling with the part-time guests at the second cabin.

Such a beautiful spacious property that felt so inviting and comfortable. So much fun for our family to reunite and make memories!The neighbor is a bit grumpy with trespassing when our ball went over the fence a few times so we just tried to keep our ball from going over. Other than that we had a wonderful time!

Beautiful home on the water, with large yard. Very well stocked kitchen with everything you need. (Even 2 rolling pins) We love this home, very well planned. This is our 2nd time staying here,Advertised home with 2 full refrigerators. Unfortunately upon arrival there was an out of order sign.

Very comfortable space with a stunning view. It rained on and off during our stay, but the back patio was large enough to still enjoy the outdoors.

It was exceptional weeks stay with my family of 14. Great location in a beautiful setting and the house is prettier than the pictures on website. Everyone was very comfortable and couldn’t be happier.

Great place on the water
Everything went smoothly. The property was clean, and the property manager was quick to respond to any questions. I would definitely recommend this place, and would book again!

Perfect weekend
Hygge Lakehouse was the perfect place for our getaway. We enjoyed the game room, playing in the backyard and the convenience of the boat launch. The house was beautiful and clean with plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

Phenomenal Stay
We loved the location, house, communication, and experience. This is about 40 mins from the entrance of West Yellowstone. The house has incredible views of the river and even saw a few river otters.
The house was the best stocked that I have ever stayed out. This is not 2nd hand camping gear- but quality appliances, pots, pans, etc. The house was recently renovated and in fantastic shape.
Highly recommended!

We’ve stayed at several VRBO’s over the years with a large family and to a person this property is our favorite by far! We loved the layout both inside and out. There are many windows with exceptional lighting and views inside and a rap around deck and spacious grass yard outside expertly maintained. It’s solidly built with attention to every detail. Our many grandchildren loved the bunk room, and we loved the master bedroom. Our married children found their four bedrooms adequate, but envied the master. Who wouldn’t? I would love to own a home like this!

Perfect Rental for Family Reunion
We rented Hygge Lakehouse for a family reunion. There were enough bedrooms for each of the adult couples to have their own bedroom and our grandkids loved sleeping (partying) in the bunk room with their cousins. This place does not have the usual stains and scars of a short-term rental. Very clean and apparently recently updated. The game room is excellent and the view/setting is fantastic. If we rent again (good possibility) we'll probably bring a boat or waverunners. The river was bigger than we anticipated, the dock is in the backyard, and there is a boat ramp literally right next door (assuming that renters are allowed to use it.) Highly recommended.
