“Lythgoe” to the Lake house is a beautiful lakefront property directly on Island Park Reservoir. Summer 2027 is now open for reservations! Check out our new amenities: paddle boards and a hot tub (available for a nightly fee).
Enjoy the lake in the summer and the snow in the winter. We are well set up for multiple guests with a large kitchen including 2 dishwashers, 2 sinks, double oven, 2 fridge freezers and an oversized cooktop. You will also enjoy 8 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, additional sleeping loft spaces, large daylight walk out basement with an additional kitchen. This lodge has a home theater, fireplace, wifi, BBQ grill, fire pit, outdoor and indoor games, and a private boat dock!
Large picture windows on all floors have beautiful scenic views of the lake and surrounding areas. A large covered back deck serves as a great extension of the dining room with plenty of room for large group eating and room for guests to sit and enjoy fresh mountain air. Extra tables and chairs are available for your use at meal time. A fire pit with seating is available in the back yard. Please bring your own fire wood. If you forget, there are several places in Island Park where you can purchase some. Our private dock is perfect for guests of all ages to swim and play in the water. Feel free to bring your own boat and water toys and enjoy the fun and sun!
The main floor has a kitchen, dining room, living room with a large propane fireplace, master bedroom suite with jetted tub and large walk in shower, additional bedroom, full bathroom, large laundry room with laundry machines. The master suite has a flatscreen TV, king bed and a private entrance to the deck. The upstairs has a 7 bed loft and second primary suite with a queen bed, 2 sets of bunk beds, a separate twin bed and a full bath. The basement has 5 bedrooms, theater room, a full kitchen, large family room and 2 full bathrooms. Each bedroom has a queen or king bed with 2 of them having additional twin bunk beds.
Bring family and friends to our “Lythgoe” -to- the- Lake house and enjoy our home and all the outdoor and indoor fun. Our lake house is approximately 35 minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park. horseback riding, snowmobiling, four-wheeler trails, wildlife watching, fishing, boating and water sports are all within a short distance.

The home was beautiful and cozy. It was great for gathering and enjoying meals together. There were bonuses with extra chairs and toys to play at the water and plenty of parking. The boat launch was conveniently located and we loved using the dock for the boats and to relax on. The deck over looking the lake was enjoyed all day. The communication with the host was excellent and all who attended had a peaceful and wonderful time. Would highly recommend this location and home.

We loved everything about our stay! The kitchen was well stocked, there is SO much room, proximity to the water is great. It was perfect for our large family vacation!

Blissful Trip to the Lake
We had such a blast staying in this home with our family! It was the perfect vacation spot. Hosts were extremely accommodating and responsive. We look forward to staying there again in the future!

Our stay was the best!! So much for the family to do, with access to the lake, paddle boards, volleyball…plenty of space for our family to sleep. Everything was stocked ready for us to cook our meals. The views were beautiful, our favorite place so far!!!

Excellent for large family reunion
The property was excellent! We had the best time and everything we needed was provided- games, boat doc, kitchenware, outdoor chairs. We loved the hot tub, campfire, and large lawn!

Awesome Getaway
This house was perfect for 8 small families. It was clean and well stocked with plenty of activities during a snowy day. The host was easy to reach and very helpful/kind when needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Extended Family Getaway
We had a great time at Lythgoe! Plenty of space to relax and play games. Loved having the dock right off the back to launch kayaks and wave runners. Communication with the owner was fantastic and we can't wait to go back!

We loved everything about this place, but the small dock because we are a 2 boat 2 wave runner family.

Amazing house and location!!
We had our family reunion in this house and had the best time. Beautiful, clean home at the most perfect location right on the shore of the reservoir. The owners were helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend.

Wonderful Reunion Cabin!
This home on the lake was perfect for our large family! We had other activities, but the cabin property was so awesome all the kids just wanted to play on the lake. There was plenty of room for smaller groups to enjoy conversation or play on their own. I would definitely recommend staying here to friends and family!

Something for everyone
Was only about 40 minute commute to Yellowstone and on our stay home days we enjoyed the lake views, kayaking, the fire pit and the hot tub. Owner was always very responsive when we had questions.

Family Adventure
This place has it all, from excellent location to premium views. Property has everything you need for a memorable getaway. Sleeps very large groups comfortably. Hosts are extremely accommodating. They also check to make sure you’re not having any issue's. Will definitely stay again.
