Luxurious hot tub with the best views on the Lost Coast! Recently remodeled, single level, high end home with dramatic 180 degree views. Relax and enjoy the splendor of the sights and sounds of the Pacific from this modern luxury home. Two ocean view bedrooms on opposite ends of the house ensure plenty of privacy. Breathtaking vaulted ceilings, chandeliers and all luxury finishes. Words can not describe the beauty, drama and tranquility of this spectacular home.
The ensuite main bedroom features unparalleled ocean views, a free standing tub, abalone shell chandelier, walk in shower and bidet. You are assured a great night sleep on Ghost mattresses on both beds along with the sights and sounds of the ocean to lull you to sleep.
Any chef would be at home in the very well equipped kitchen, which includes a Wolf stove, Subzero refrigerator and many quality small appliances. Wake up to a stocked coffee bar with everything you need for that first cup of morning coffee.
If you prefer to cook outside, there is a gas barbecue and an outdoor dining space as well.
Feel free to stay longer because there is a dedicated work space with amazing ocean views, a desk, a printer and comfortable chair and very fast internet. The immense deck has breathtaking views of The Lost Coast, a covered dining space and plenty of space for lounging.
There is a Tesla charger in the garage that is available for your use.
Enjoy nearby beaches, restaurants, hiking trails and so much more.
This entire home and property are yours to enjoy. We are located on a quiet cul de sac with plenty of parking. There is a digital lock on the front door for `no contact` check in.
Your host, Alessandra Licardo is available any time. before during and even after your stay to answer question, give information or help with making you more comfortable. There is a Welcome Book in the house with maps, restaurant menus and information about local points of interest.
Due to safety concerns regarding the height/railings of the cliffside deck, this property is not suitable or safe for children under 16 years old.
1. Due to the elevated cliff side deck, we do not rent to groups traveling with children, due to safety concerns.
2. Minimum required age for peron booking a reservation is 25.
3. Do not use grills, or appliances that generate heat on the deck. The bbq must be used on the driveway.

We absolutely loved this home. And it felt just like that - a very comfortable home that came with an amazing view! Alessandra thought of everything you could want for cooking, provided wonderful quality and comfort of bedding and furnishings, and added so many thoughtful items throughout the home. I also so appreciate how helpful and responsive Alessandra was in answering my questions during packing, making sure we knew what we did and didn’t have to bring. It was truly such a pleasure to stay here!

What a beautiful property! The bed was comfortable, there were plenty of towels and linens,and the view was unmatched. We loved the high end appliances too! The ocean view hot-tub was a perfect treat and very clean. The only criticism would be that the hand soap (bar soap) for the second bathroom had been used. The one in the primary bedroom was brand new and good quality though. Definitely can’t wait to come back again!

This is an absolutely beautiful home with a stunning view! Black Sands Beach is gorgeous and very close by. The home had everything we needed (and more) for our stay. The hostess provided the check-in information a few days earlier than expected which I really appreciated.

The ocean view was spectacular! The furnishings, kitchen appliances, layout and serenity of Sunset Villa is exceptional! Communication was also excellent and the check-in process was seamless. Perfect getaway
We came to Shelter Cove for a quiet weekend away and a day hike on The Lost Coast. The home was beautiful… views, decor and all amenities!

Really wonderful stay. House is beautifully appointed. The views couldn’t be better and manager was prompt, personable, and professional. LOVED our stay. We will come back!

Redwoods / Humboldt Cty Trip
Stunning property with majestic views. The views are really beyond description. Ocean and waves and crashing surf forever. The house itself is so well-designed and of such high quality materials that you’d enjoy your trip even if it rained continually and you were forced to stay inside the entire time.

We began our adventurous travel from Austin, TX into San Fran to drive the legendary Hwy 1 and 101. This house was breathtaking, peaceful and a calming paradise. The architecture and aesthetics of this home is brilliantly thought out with the perspective of what would make it a memorable stay for anyone. Every nook and cranny plays an intricate factor of the view for the eyes of the beholder. We hope to come back soon. Thank y'all for sharing this space of wonderous beauty with us!

Amazing!!!
This place was amazing with outstanding views of the ocean and a short walk to Black Sands Beach where we saw whales, seals, and a beautiful sunset. The owner thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. I only wish they had properties at every destination we want to visit in the future - we would always choose their property!!

Perfect Place in Shelter Cove
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your place in Shelter Cove. The house was perfect for 4 friends to meet up, cook meals together, sip wine on the deck, enjoy the incredible view, plan hikes and beach walks, complete a jigsaw puzzle, and watch movies together. It was extremely well equipped. We whole-heartedly recommend it!

Amazing House with a Stunning View
The property is a little hard to get to but is Totally worth the drive. One of the most beautiful houses I have ever seen with TOP of the line everything. Would love to stay here on a monthly basis if I only lived closer. Highly recommend!

Quiet retreat
Beautiful home in a gorgeous setting. I loved this home and my stay. Amazing views of the ocean and forested hills from the deck. You can hear the waves from the house, which is a great sound to wake up to in the morning. We saw deer on the property multiple times. I came to relax and this home was perfect for that.

My husband and I are from this area. We actually run a closed loop farm on the other side of the hill but have always LOVED the Cove. We love to fish and walk the beach and partake in the restaurants while there. I love being a host because i like to give the renters an experience that i would appreciate. It is such a joy to hear about their experiences and thoughts on the house/property while they are there.

Family friends originally built this house and we had the pleasure to visit them a few times and loved the view. Decades later, When we were given the opportunity to purchase the property we jumped.

Luxury appliances and Leather furnishings. Expansive Windows, Best Beds, Bedding, pillows, towels, Soaps, etc etc. The view is one of the best at the cove. Its on a cul de sac, so it is really quiet and private, but minutes away from everything. You can really feel the love when you are there!
