Nestled on famed lake Sutherland is a romantic Port Angeles lakeside cabin. The jewel of the crown of this house is the bedroom with views across the lake. In addition, a new state of the art kitchen offers many amenities. Last but not least escape onto the deck overlooking the lake or hang on the dock and enjoy your perfect view of the northwest mountain area.

Single and tandem kayak's, peddle boat, WiFi and satellite TV is included in this amazing cabin near the Olympic National Park.

Nestled on the bank of Lake Sutherland, this private and comfortable 650 square foot cabin is located on the "sunny" north shore of Lake Sutherland. The fishing theme of this cabin fits perfectly as the lake is abundant with Rainbow trout. Enjoy a full day of sunshine while lounging or fishing from the private dock. Sleeps 2 with a queen bed and/or sofa sleeper.
Ring security camera on front porch for security purposes.

Perfect Getaway

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The cabin was lovely. The host has thought of every detail. The scenery is breathtaking. It was the perfect home base for our elopement in Olympic. Highly recommend.

Fantastic stay at the lake

Thé place is even more beautiful inside then thé pictures show. Marvelous place. Very romantic and all thé comfort you need. Only thé stairs to enter are not easy to take with a suitcase. We have loved staying here very much and could have easily spend more time to relax and enjoy Olympic from here.

Beautiful Lakefront Cabin

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the beautiful lake views. The cabin is well-equipped with anything you may need during your stay, and it’s conveniently located approx. 20 minutes from Port Angeles.

Perfect cabin on the lake

My husband and I stayed here for two nights while touring the ONP. This little gem of a find was perfect for us. Clean, quiet and comfortable with really cute decor. We enjoyed sitting on the boat deck sipping coffee and watching the birds.

Truly a Cozy Cabin

Great location for numerous day hikes. Beautiful view of lake each morning and everything you need. We like to cook and kitchen provided all the essentials. Would definitely visit again.

Highlight of our trip

Cozy Cabin was the half way stop on our 2000 mile tour of various parts of WA, and it was exceptional. I previously told my partner that there was so much to see in Washington that it would be a crime to stay in one place for more than 2 nights…and Cozy Cabin made me eat my words. I could have spent the entire week there. Nonetheless, it was a highlight of our trip and we would definitely return.

Fantastic!

We stayed at this beautiful location for 3 nights. Great access to the Olympic NP and a wonderful place to come home to at night. Plan on sitting on the dock enjoying your beverage of choice while watching the fog roll in!

Wonderful lake cabin

We stayed here while visiting Olympic National park. Great location for all destinations at the park. Hurricane ridge was about a 25 minute drive. Hoh rainforest and ruby beach just over and hour drive. The lake was beautiful. Cabin is updated from the photos. Great stay

Relax in the late afternoon sun

Lake Sutherland continues to be one of our favorite summer getaways! The house was clean and cozy - and was able to fit our family of 4 with two kids ages 7 and 9. The dock and kayaks were perfect for swimming and boating.

My wife and I stayed here for our Elopement and we absolutely loved it! The pictures do not give it justice to how beautiful the place really is. Communication with the host was really easy and accommodating to our requests. Would love to come again!

Great place! We had a great relaxing timne and would love to go back someday! The Cabin was cozy and clean, firewood and tinder wood for the fireplace was provided and the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. Beautiful window view of the lake. The bed was a little too high but very comfortable!

Wonderful Stay :)

The property was fabulous! It is LOADED with amenities which simplified our travel experience. The lake is superb, cool and clear, and the ability to take the kayaks out for a lap was so awesome! The house was really comfortable, the multi-tier decks, fire pit, and dock with ladder, all wonderful! We would come back to your cottage on Lake Sutherland again for sure. Thank you for the great experience!

Gorgeous!

Our stay was even better than expected! There is quite the hike down to the cabin, but its very much worth it. Just something to keep in mind if there's mobility issues. But the kitchen was well stocked, there's plenty of bedding and extra blankets, and the kayaks are a wondferul amenity! The view from the cabin is extraordinary. We would definitely stay again!

Cozy cabin

My second trip the the property. Loved it. Everything was as listed. Wish I could come more often. Firepit, kayaks, lounging on the dock, multiple outdoor sitting areas. Indoors has all things that make life complete. And then there's the mountains and trails!!

A wonderful time

This Cabin is located at an incredibly ideal location- Close to hiking, natural hot springs and rivers, while also being a manageable distance away from towns where you can pick up any supplies you might need. The cabin is furnished extremely well- A Keurig coffee maker for when you feel lazy and want to sit on the couch, drink coffee and watch the fog slowly dissipate off the lake. The tandem Kayak was a big plus too, we spent a morning out on the water just paddling around and getting a feel for the lake. Would very much enjoy coming back during a warmer time where I could swim without freezing!

I have lived my entire life on the North Olympic Peninsula. I am very fortunate to live here and it is a beautiful place to visit. I have three adult children who still love to spend time and enjoy the waters of Lake Sutherland. I work and live in Port Angeles, but try to spend some weekends escaping life's demands by relaxing at the lake. I have a sign at the cabin that reads, 'If you are lucky enough to live on the water, you are lucky enough'. That says it all!

Lake Sutherland is a prime piece of property on the North Olympic Peninsula. This cabin was bought in 2003 and fully remodeled in 2004 - 2005. There is a public boat launch on the south shore side of the lake. This location is 10 minutes away from the Olympic National Park, 40 minutes from Forks, WA., home of Twilight books and movies and a ferry ride to British Columbia, Canada.
