Everything about this rental was perfect! Karin is an amazing host. The house was fully stocked, even with thoughtful extras like snacks and sunscreen. It was a perfect central location for our family to post up during the Run Rabbit Run race weekend. Hope to stay here again in the future!

The house is in a great location for all town activities and the hot springs. It was so comfortable to stay in and we appreciated the fact it had air conditioning. Parking was easy and the house was quiet with great views to the old ski hill in town.

We loved this property! It worked out perfectly for our group and just happened to be across the street from the pick up and drop off location fir the shuttles to our daughter’s wedding. Thank you so much for such a great stay!

Very comfortable, quiet & convenient house in old town just a block off Lincoln, 2 blocks to hot springs. Lots of sunlight in main living area and 2 covered parking spaces. Easy communication with owner, I highly recommend!

Great stay at Old Town Hideaway

We were impressed with the quality of the Old Town Hideaway. They had everything you needed, including towels for the Hot Springs. Very quiet, and comfortable bed and layout. We would stay again. Also, parking was easily accessed.

Loved it!!

Property was very clean, comfortable, had everything we needed for our Steamboat getaway, and perfect location to walk downtown, easy access to river and bike path. Karin was so good to work with. Highly recommend and would stay again!!

Quaint place near town

We had a wonderful stay at Old Town Hideaway! Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance. Spices and other kitchen necessities were available to use and the place was very clean! Karin was great at communicating and making sure our stay was great!

Good in-town location

Property was clean and has a great location to town. We parked our car when we arrived and didn’t have to use it again until we left. Karin was great at communicating.

Anniversary/ 4th of July

Perfect location for celebrating our anniversary and 4th of July activities. Walking distance to restaurants , shopping ,parade on main st. and pro rodeo. Even had some wild life viewing !!!

Great Steamboat House

Excellent location. One block to bus stop. Short walk to restaurants and town shopping. Everything in the house is set up well. Bedrooms and living space are accurate to the listing. We highly recommend this property.

Great little spot in heart of downtown!

We had a great stay at the Hideaway! We walked everyone: to dinner, the river, the rodeo, bike shop, shopping and the park. The hideaway stayed cool despite summer heat- was a nice retreat at end of the day! The neighboring business (inc the dance studio) never bothered us and was actually a fun way to feel like you were “part of local steamboat” for a few days.

Sweet Steamboat hideaway

Location, Location, Location. You can walk to everything downtown Steamboat. The free bus to the slopes is right around the corner. The condo was super clean and very cozy. We loved it and would absolutely stay here again. The owner was also great. She was very helpful with the check-in process and was only a phone call away if we needed anything.

Perfect place to stay in Steamboat

What a perfect place to stay in downtown Steamboat. So comfortable with everything we needed. Lovely linens and decor, fully stocked kitchen. A 2 minute walk to the hot springs and Natural Grocers and also so many excellent restuarants close by. Great hiking is also close by... highly recommend the Spring Creek Trail and Uranium mine trail. Having a dedicated covered parking space is also a big plus during the winter months. Karin is an excellent host. Highly recommend the Old Town Hidaway.

Perfect Steamboat location!

The apartment was spotless and cozy. It was equipped with everything you need from spices to plenty of trash bags, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. We loved that everything was within walking distance and we could just stop for coffee or a cocktail with a view of the river. There are several mountain biking trails that my husband enjoyed. Karin was a great host and we would definitely return!

Great place and great host!

This place did not disappoint. It was perfect for my husband and I....location is really pretty good as we could walk to anything downtown. She does tell you that there is foot traffic to the dance studio and it does get noisy but it is NEVER during a time you would be trying to sleep. And with the TV on you don't really hear it. It was not a bother to us at all! GREAT place and we WILL return!

Old Town Family Fun

We just returned from the best week spent at Old Town Hideaway. This was our first time visiting Steamboat Springs and we absolutely loved our stay. This property was perfect for our family and it was close enough to walk to all the great shops and restaurants in town. We did not even need a rental car. We will miss our daily walks to the coffee shop and market, as well as the very comfortable beds and living room couch. The perfect family rental to experience the charm of Old Town. We preferred this area and rental property to anything on the mountain. We were able to get anywhere we wanted to go within minutes, but enjoyed the peaceful nature of our location. Karin was an amazing host and always available for questions. We will be back!

Construction & no heat controls

Great location and unit. Not so great was the after 5pm construction and inability to control the heat in the unit without having to text the owner who adjusted it to a reasonable temperature but it wasn't under our control. Heater seemed to turn on constantly and could be heard in the bedroom and kitchen. It was noisy enought ot be distracting and keep you awake or wake you up.

The construction noise was a one time occurrence. We apologize for the worker in the front part of the house. He came in at 4:35 to do some work and quickly stopped by 5:30 after we told him the sound was loud for your stay. He didn’t realized someone was in the apartment and stopped work when we told him to. The heat from the forced air furnace turns on and off as needed to regulate the temperature. Glad it was comfortable with your temperature requests. Moving forward, the heat register control is available to access for anyone staying in Old Town Hideaway at their convenience.
