Large three bedroom home that will sleep 10. Spacious kitchen, living room, and play room with ample seating. A mudroom for all your outdoor wear, whether it be snowmobile or muddy jeans and boots. Walk in, change and come relax after a long day of trail riding. (Riding trails are right across the street!) Our home is located next to the local bar with great food. Everything you need in one location but if you're looking to have an adventure you're within a half hour of the best attractions know to our area. Travel to Munising for Pictures Rocks National Lakeshore and waterfalls. Head to Marquette to jump off Black rocks or view the Oredocks. Many more places to see and adventures to be had!

Snowmobilers Overnight in Little Lake

Property was great for our group to overnight on a February snowmobile trip - right on Trail 8 at Little Lake. Above all, Jessica was an incredible host…prompt communication, great flexibility with us when we had some unexpected circumstances come up…just a pleasure all the way around. Thank you!!

Nice place

There were a few minor things that could be improved on but overall a very nice place. There were sheer curtains in some bedrooms which let in a lot of light and there was a portable AC in one room. The house stayed cool enough while there. Nice game room and living area. Everything was nice and clean. Good driving distance to Gwinn and Marquette. Would definitely stay again.

Good Location

Good location with easy access to Marquette and Munising which is where most of our activities were. Convenient that trail is across street. Loved the restaurant next door. Air conditioning was not what I expected but we are located in a state that uses central air condition half the year.

Great Host and Accommodations

Place was clean and met expectations. We didn't spend much time there as we only slept and used the bathroom. Large spaces with plenty of hangout area. Everything was clean and accessible - including the host, she was very accommodating.

THREE SXS's AND ONE 4-WHEELER

It was a beautiful weekend!! The house looks just like the pictures, clean and renovated. Very well stocked kitchen, lots of towels for the bathroom, and the entrance/mud room is perfect for all your gear. The bar and grill right next door is an added benefit when you don't want to cook yourself. We would definitely stay here again!

Quick trip

The house was great. A little hard to find initially but if I would have check direction listing from the owner from the start it would have been easy - very specific. So remember that if you rely on GPS. Perfect space for us on a quick visit to my freshman at NMU. My daughter and roommate got to spend an evening with us. Plenty of room for everyone. Clean, welcoming, and comfortable. Great stay.

The house inside was cute. Available sleeping for our large family gathering was excellent. There were however heating issues ( furnace was not working). Owner did leave one space heater. Breaker was tripped somehow when we arrived so fridge and lights upstairs did not work. We finally found the breaker box in the basement and fixed it. Upstairs sink has plumbing issues. The store available is no longer open, and the dumpster hasn’t been emptied in months. It is however next to a bar that graciously turned the fryer’s on to feed us when we arrived and there is a nice grocery store a couple miles down the road.

Good place with a few minor issues

The good: fair pricing, huge, nicely decorated. The not so great: the heat didn’t work at all and it was colder than we would have liked. The owner did attempt to address the problem quickly but they were still working on it when we left. Location was kind of in the middle of nowhere. 30 minute drive to Marquette Or Ishpeming. Only one bathroom was tough with 6 people. Still this stuff is not hidden in the listing and the value pricing compared to other options in the Marquette area still made it worthwhile.

Cute stay!

We had a easy check-in and good stay for what we needed it to be. Plenty of beds for big groups and family. Gas station, pizza, and restaurants nearby.

Beautiful home

This is a beautiful home with an easy check in process. Loved having a warm shower after having camped the previous nights. Also love that there is enough seating for everyone to eat together!!

Store House at Little Lake

My group stayed two nights at this location for browsing tourist spots in the area. The place was clean and equipped with everything we needed, and Jessica provided helpful instructions along with plenty of information. This location is great because there are not a bunch of other lodging facilities in the area, so traffic is minimal and the locals are friendly. We liked that there was a bar & grill right next door.

Home away from home

Spacious and Clean. This was the perfect place to be close to family while visiting the area. It is very close to a number of area lakes and an easy drive to Marquette. This home has a large kitchen and dining area. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. We appreciated the air conditioners on both floors. At first we struggled getting the door open. Jess was very responsive and we learned the entry door can stick when it is humid. A good shove and we got in. Super handy to have the store right next door. We look forward to our next stay in this home away from home.

Hey! So we acquired this home because we bought the store right next door. Browns Store and this house used to be owned by one family. When we bought the store originally we weren't thinking of the house until the owners daughter approached us. The store and the store house share a septic and the property lines are so close we decided it was best that we owned both. We rented the house out long term until we seen how well vacation rentals were doing so we decided to switch opportunities and here we are now. We hope you enjoy this home on your vacation and everything the area has to offer for adventures! We've since closed the store but have enjoyed hosting families in the Storehouse.
