Seventh & Pine is a nearly century old 3rd generation owned 3-bedroom home located in the heart of the Old Town Historic District of Georgetown. Nestled just a short walk between the "Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas" (5 blocks) and Southwestern University (2 blocks), this cozy retreat offers the perfect home base for your central Texas getaway. A home with heart—owned by one family since 1963 and lovingly shared with guests.
Unwind in the spacious living room, where you can curl up on the couch and enjoy a movie on the 70" smart TV. The fully stocked kitchen is a chef's delight, equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, and all the essentials you need to whip up/takeout delicious meals. Enjoy the owner's personal vintage record collection including over thirty albums and nearly forty 45's (Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, John Denver, Ray Charles and Elvis to name a few). Step outside and fire up the grill and enjoy a movie night or ball game on the outdoor TV in the covered carport, or gather around the fire pit for s'mores and stargazing.
When you're ready to explore, you'll find plenty of nearby attractions (many in walking distance) to keep you entertained. Take a leisurely stroll to The Square (725 steps) for one of a kind local restaurants, shopping, live music, comedy, theatre, entertainment and more. With year round events like Poppy Fest, Two Step Inn, First Friday Free Music, Market Days and Pistons on The Square, there's always something going on nearby.
Amenities like free WiFi, a washing machine and dryer, and a selection of games, vintage books, and toys for the kids ensure your stay is as comfortable and convenient as possible. The Space
This is a 3-bedroom 2 bath home that features an interior space of approximately 1,500 square feet and 13,734 sq. ft. exterior corner lot. Central heat and air were installed in June 2024 with a smart thermostat to keep the interior comfortable year round. New appliances were installed in October 2022, as well as upgraded electric, plumbing and interior paint and remodeling.

Our kids loved the swings! We enjoyed walking to the square for shopping and meals (there were sidewalks the whole way). We will definitely stay here again if we are back in Georgetown.

Cozy historic house with lots of charm!
We had a great stay! Comfy beds, fully stocked with all necessities, and super close to the University where our baseball tournament was held.

Great location. There for an event at Southwestern University and loved proximity to school and downtown. Easy to walk to coffee shop and house layout was perfect.

Everything with our stay was awesome. Great location with easy access to SU campus and the Square...The only disappointment was not being able to use the fire pit due to the weekend storms.We will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits to Georgetown!

The location was perfect for our needs. It had convenient access to restaurants, shopping and clinics. The accommodations were great for our small family with plenty of space in each room. Whenever in the area, we will definitely put this house on our list to stay.

After losing both of our parents in 2020 and 2021, my brothers and I found ourselves leaning on each other—and on the house we had always called home. Letting it go didn’t feel right. So instead, we made another decision: to open our childhood home as a short-term rental. It’s given us a way to keep their memory close, spend time in a place that still feels like home and—if we’re lucky—pass it on to a fourth generation.
The house sits quietly on the corner of 7th and Pine in Georgetown’s charming Old Town Historic District, where it’s been part of our family since 1963. Our grandparents bought it first, then gifted it to our parents as a wedding present in 1968. For the next 52 years, our mom and dad raised the three of us there, filling it with laughter, traditions, and love.
Today, every room holds a story—birthday parties in the backyard under the pecan trees, holiday dinners, long porch sits on fall mornings. It’s not a showplace; it’s something better: a real family home with roots and heart.
Whether you're here to explore Georgetown’s famed town square or just looking to slow down in a quiet, historic neighborhood, we hope our home gives you the same sense of comfort and belonging it’s always given us.
