Disappointing
Where do I even start.. this place is not like the photos at all. We connected with the host to see if we could check in an hour early, host let us know to stop by & check with the cleaners so we did, cleaners said it wont be ready until check in time as they still needed to mop & clean the kitchen which was totally fine. We had plans to go to an event nearby so we left & returned around 8:30pm to find a man outside asking for access to the back to go through the trash as he supposedly stayed the night before and needed belongings then switched to say he needed to get his cats.. odd and scary as the neighborhood is not the nicest. When we entered the house first thing we noticed was how dirty the walls and super stained carpets were, rooms looked unvacuumed, bed sheets stained/dirty, no towels in one of the bathrooms to even dry your hands, everything just felt gross not to mention your feet turning black from walking on the hardwood floor that supposedly was just "mopped". I just dont understand how a property could charge this much for a stay and not invest in updating the paint/carpet let alone a nice set of bed sheets. It seemed like every single thing at this property was dirty. The power also went out which was frightening, we didnt know if someone outside shut off the powerbox as the neighborhood was very sketchy. Front door also didnt lock properly, thankfully the power was back on by the morning but it was out for awhile. Very disappointed in this stay. 0/10
