1265 square foot home located 0.2 miles from Silver Lake ORV sand dune entrance. 3 bedroom home with a kitchen, living room and all-season porch with 3 patio door for beautiful view and a gas fireplace. A shaded yard and a fenced area for dogs. Centrally located for all outdoor activities. The silver Lake area has something to do for everyone, fishing, canoeing, swimming, hiking, biking, walking along the sandy shores of Lake Michigan or yeeting thru the sand dunes in your off road vehicle or side x side. Seasonal attractions like Mac Woods dune rides, Little Sable light house tours, Craig’s cruisers, shopping, Icecram shops, Chicken shack, Hart-Montague bike trails, local wine tours, golfing, Lewis Adventure Farm and Zoo. Day Trips to Ludington, Manistee or the Baldwin trail system. For rentals use Silverback rentals or Wave Club boat rentals. So many memories to be made!

We had an amazing time and the house was very well appointed. I always bring a box full of extras and didn’t need a thing. Jennie was very responsive to all messages. Would love to stay again!!

Comfy, homey, loved the attention to detail and the supply of oops forgot that items...everything just so thoughtful! Host awesome at communication and being helpful, ...such a peaceful, great location!! Especially the pupper friendly details! Side yard so great! Loved the coffee bar and that awesome room! Also loved the cool local sourced rock fireplace surround, finding yooperlite rocks so fun!!

Another perfect trip, great home to stay at! Close to the sand dunes and town. Kitchen is stocked with pans, plates, utensils, cups, coffee station & more! Oh, and an Awesome 4 season room! Fire pit, seating and a grill outside. Plenty of parking. The host are amazing, and available if needed. I know our family will be back again.

Amazing stay

These hosts are pros! They know how to setup a place to make it welcome. Everything you need and extremely close to the dunes. I already rebooked a stay!

Great stay!

Wonderful location, and the house was set up perfectly to make us feel at home. We loved the coffee bar and s’mores station. Hosts really go the extra mile.

Absolutely—here’s a polished, enthusiastic review you can post:We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin near the Silver Lake Sand Dunes! From the moment we arrived, it felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. The extra amenities and little touches throughout the cabin truly made us feel like our hosts went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable.The location was absolutely perfect. We were within walking distance of the dunes and an easy bike ride into the center of town, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy everything the area has to offer without having to constantly get in the car. It was the perfect home base for exploring Silver Lake.We also loved that the cabin was pet-friendly, which made it possible for us to enjoy our getaway with our furry family members. The cabin was cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming, convenient, and comfortable retreat near the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. This place truly felt like a home away from home!

This is our second year staying at Sweet Retreat and we absolutely love it! It is the cutest, coziest place. Very pet friendly! They think of everything from extra toiletries you may have forgotten to an extra leash and poop bags! We will definitely continue to stay here!

Perfect family getaway!

This is truly the best rental home we’ve stayed in. The house was very clean and we all felt at home, including the dogs! All the little amenities through out the house were very appreciated! We will be booking again & we can’t wait to return!

Fantastic Stay

The cottage was perfect for our stay and is in a great location. The house was very clean and the four season room turned into the perfect hangout spot. The coffee and s’mores bars are a great touch and the kids couldn’t wait to have a bonfire. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Silver Lake area.

We have stayed here two times now, and both times were wonderful. The host is very accommodating with excellent communication! You also can’t beat the location, you are 1 minute from the dunes. We were able to go in and out all day. It’s clean and was well equipped for my family of 6 and our dog!
