I have stayed at this house 3 times now. The view is amazing and the house is very clean. Plenty of hiking close by and a lot of nature to see. The property managers are very helpful and keep you informed. I would recommend this property for a relaxing mountain getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay near Boise for three weeks in September 2026. The house is situated in the Wilderness Ranch Development about a 40-minute drive from the western edge of Boise. It is about a 10-minute drive from the main road on a winding dirt road to reach the house. It has a great south facing view of the mountains and valley from the huge windows and the large deck. The living area is all on one level. The master bedroom was large with a king bed and plenty of closet and dresser space. The master bath area was good-sized with a shower, large tub, and double vanity. There is a second bedroom and a second bathroom with shower off the entrance hallway. They are connected by a door. A third bedroom and office is located off the living room and master. The washer/dryer is in a room off the kitchen. The house was well-equipped, and the appliances worked well. There was a dining table with four chairs. The living room area had two couches. The TV set was good sized and worked well. It has Dish cable, but we mostly used our own firestick. The internet was supplied by Starlink and the speed was good, and the connection worked well for our purposes. Access to the house is via a key accessed with a code given to a key box. The garage is attached to the house but is not available for parking our car. There is plenty of parking in front of the house. The area is beautiful, clean, and safe. We enjoyed the fantastic views from the deck and living room.

Great stay

Great vacation location, nestled in the top of the mountain. Lots of wildlife around, quiet, and a fun place to rest and relax.

The quiet and the view are the best. Apple maps said to park and walk half a mile so I recommend google maps to get there.

Annual Idaho Wedding Anniversary

We have stayed at this property in Idaho, five times, and love it each and every time. The view of the elk, the turkey, the quail makes for a wonderful getaway. It’s quiet and peaceful and that night you can see an amazing amount of stars.

Beautiful Home, Perfect Location, Great Property Owners

We absolutely loved our stay! Everything in the pictures are even more gorgeous in person. The quiet seclusion was just what the doctor ordered. We are already looking forward to coming back.

We rode our adventure/dual sport bikes here. The dirt roads are well-maintained and easy to ride in the summer. The view overlooks the valley to the south, and we loved sitting on the porch to look at the stars at night and watch the sunrise in the morning. We loved seeing deer and hummingbirds. The beds were comfortable and the amenities worked great.

Amazing View

Second time at this property and it is amazing. The house is very nice and the view is incredible. Lots of nature to see (Elk, mule deer, turkey, and various bird species). The property managers are very helpful and great with communication. Zero complaints, I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

Wonderful home and location

Great getaway spot. Really nice home that was the best stocked VRBO that we’ve ever stayed in. Awesome view. Saw lots of wildlife driving in and out and within 100 yards of home. Highly recommend if you want a great getaway spot.

Peaceful and Relaxing

This property is has beautiful views. We enjoyed watching the elk feed on the hillside in the evening feeding. Had an enjoyable stay and will defiantly stay again.

Relaxing

Beautiful area. Super close to home. So we were able to come escape and return to the hustle and bustle quickly as well. The wildlife, last day we were there a few baby elk were grazing right off the back deck.
