Waterfront Lake Cabin with covered dock with boat slip, electric & lights! Great dock fishing & swimming!! Cabin is on large lot surrounded by woods and has the most amazing sunset views. Find peace with abounding nature and beauty! Fall time is great for sitting around the camp fire after a day of fishing!

Kids and pets love it here with plenty of space to run and enjoy and they love sleeping in the loft! There is plenty of space for parking cars and trailers and there is a RV outlet. RV's, Pets and Kids welcome!

This is a ladder loft studio style cabin with a queen size bed in main room and two full size mattresses in the loft area. Loft area has it's own TV and DVD player. There is not a private, separate bedroom with door - it is studio style - but you will love Buck Creek Cabin with it's sunset views and peaceful private wooded surroundings.

Make it your "go to" place whenever you just have to get away!

Located in Fort Gaines Georgia on 85 mile long lake that is on the Georgia/Alabama border with 640 miles of shoreline! Walter F. George Lake/Lake Eufuala that is known for its great fishing and nature life.

Just 3 hours from Atlanta and 2 from Tallahassee! If want to experience nature at it's best, and let the pets and kids run free - you will find what you are looking for at Buck Creek Cabin. Great state parks nearby for hiking and playgrounds and a marina.

There is one full bathroom and a outdoor hot water shower!! There is a kitchen with all kitchenware - Refrigerator/freezer, microwave, burner, crockpot, frypan, NO oven. Gas, electric and a charcoal grill on porch.

Come experience Buck Creek Cabin - it will become your favorite getaway!

Barb, our Host, was very responsive and helpful. Cabin is small but cozy, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed fishing from the dock, reading on the porch and watching all the deer! Covered carport and covered porch was perfect. Keep in mind, we came in late October, so our activities was less about being in the water or boating, but it is a huge lake! We relaxed at the fire pit. Made s'mores. Went on strolls down the road to watch all the deer! The cabin is appropriately named...Buck everywhere! Our teen daughter liked the loft for her privacy since there wasn't a bedroom, it offered some separate space for her. Our dog loved the yard and watching all the geese and fish we reeled in. She is a Lake dog now!

Beautiful waterfront retreat!

This property is quaint and waterfront! The view from the dock is beautiful! Cabin was quaint and clean. Owner was just a phone call away and super friendly! Will def come back again!

Perfect location

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cabin. It was a perfect location on the lake with a nice covered dock. The cabin was clean and well supplied for our weekend getaway. I would definitely stay again in the future!

Barbie (owner) designed the cabin after finding the lot during a week-end trip to the area . She and her family built the cabin - - The mounted deer head on the wall is her son's first - - and he was a young teenager at the time and helped with the building work - as well as his father and both of his grandfathers, one came down all the way from Wisconsin to help! She lived in Tallahassee Florida at that time and now lives in Louisville Kentucky.

Fell in love with the clear water and sandy beaches and tall Georgia pine trees and the surrounding Alabama Hills - the lake is Ideal for swimming, boating and fishing and has many fishing tournaments and events held at the George T. Bagby Georgia State Park which is just 3 miles south of the cabin - just a boat ride away! The state park has a marina and lodge and restaurant - boat to brunch!

The cabin is right on the water with large private covered dock and boat slip, electric and lights - it provides great fishing and the most amazing sunsets over the water! Great swimming and boating and nature watching and star gazing! You can sit on the covered dock and enjoy a summer rain shower - float on rafts and enjoy music from the ipod player that is provided. Dock is large enough for the whole family to enjoy fishing - the lights provide great night fishing. I've had guests that love the dock so much they have slept several nights on it! It is a rejuvenating - relaxing - escape "off grid" from busy stressful living - hear the wind in the pines - the birds of all kinds - warm sun in the day and cozy fire and star gazing at night!
