Welcome to our luxurious lakefront log cabin nestled in the breathtaking mountains of North Carolina. This cabin comfortably sleeps up to 11 guests, with 5 beautifully appointed bedrooms & 3 full bathrooms. Each room is designed for relaxation and tranquility, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

Step outside to one of two private decks, where you can soak in the sun, fire up the grill, fire table or downstairs relax in the hot tub, rock in rockers or stretch out in the hammock. Or simply enjoy the serene lakefront ambiance. The property includes a dock for kayaking, fishing, or swimming in the serene waters of Cedar Cliff Lake. For your paddling enjoyment, we provide 6 recreational kayaks, 2 canoes, 1 rowboat & a peddle boat. With our 4 slip boat dock, feel free to bring your own boat. Just dock and use during your stay. Also we have lifejackets of many sizes, paddles and oars. A fenced playground with swings is a popular feature as well.

One of the best stays we’ve ever had. Extremely well maintained gem on the lake with all the bells and whistles to enjoy the water. It was truly a special spot and can’t thank the host enough for a great experience.

Awesome Our family loves Serenity on Cedar so much that we have now stayed here three years!!! in a row. We have always loved everything about this cabin and solitude and lake location.Our host, Carol, makes sure we are fully informed about everything. Carol helps to make our visits remarkable and worry free. The cabin is clean and well maintained and fully stocked. The two decks offer excellent views of the calm lake and the smokey mountains. They also offer a large hot tub and hammock and fire pit. The children really enjoyed the canoe, kayaks, peddle boat, and Jon boat. We left very relaxed.

nice spot

Serenity on Cedar was a nice spot for our family. Separate area downstairs was perfect for the younger ones. Quite the incline on entrance drive, glad we had good weather! Good location close to trails to the south and Whee/Sylva to the north.

Great weekend away

Perfect property for a weekend getaway. The road to get there is a little sketchy, but no problem for 4-wheel drive vehicles. Beautiful view, well-stocked kitchens, and clean bedrooms/bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again.

Fourth of July vacations

We stayed in this property for the Fourth of July weekend and this house exceeded our expectations the views were amazing and the house was very well equipped with things for everyone in our family to enjoy the owner Carol was supper helpful from beginning to end would recommend this property to anyone looking for a mountain get away!

Perfect Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay so much. We had a family of 8 staying in this accommodating cabin. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and loved that we could all eat at the large dining table together. There was plenty of room to spread out and get alone time if needed. We really enjoyed the outdoor space as well as fishing off the dock, pedal boating and canoeing. We ventured out to Cashiers one day and visited downtown, Whitewater falls and Silver Run falls.

Beautiful

A very good property, clean with everything you need to have a special family time. We enjoyed the jacuzzi very much. The hosts contacted us to make sure that everything was fine. Very good service, we enjoyed our stay very much.

Great holiday getaway for our family

This property Is located in a beautiful setting. Cabin was very nice. Best equipped kitchen I have ever had in a rental vacation property. Carol answered all my questions and checked in on us to make sure everything was okay. Property was exactly as described on website.

Amazing Stay

Nice Getaway

We enjoyed the house and the view of the lake even though the construction across the way was going on while we were there. It was nice to have 3 levels - one for each family to use and the extra kitchen helped to supplement the well supplied main kitchen. We had a great time.

A little slice of Heaven’s

The cabin was equipped with everything our family needed! A few minor glitches when we first arrived but Carol immediately had the issue taken care of for us within 12 hours. Immaculate and pristine cabin! We’re already thinking about when we can visit next!

Peaceful and Serene

Our family stayed at Serenity on Cedar for a family reunion being held in the area. The cabin was very clean and perfect for our needs. It had everything; being well equipped and spacious. The children loved the televisions and the hot tub. The view from the deck overlooking the lake was awesome and relaxing. Carol was an excellent host and very responsive.

Serene and Beautiful

This was our second stay at the peaceful and quiet Serenity on Cedar cabin for our family reunion. We plan on returning next year. The cabin is very clean and perfect for all of our needs. The children love the spacious cabin and the hot tub and the multiple deck levels. The lake and mountain views from the deck are spectacular. The kitchen and dining area meets all of the needs of our family. Carol is an excellent host and is very responsive. We love her for how she makes us feel welcome and how she maintains a clean cabin. .

Comfortable and homey.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! It was so cozy and inviting, even better than we had hoped for. Check-in was a breeze, and our host was super responsive, making sure everything was just right. Carol went above and beyond by adding some lovely Christmas decorations that really made our family feel at home.The view from the cabin was absolutely breathtaking, and the peaceful setting was perfect for unwinding. It felt so nice to be tucked away in a secluded spot right above the lake—exactly what we needed to escape the hustle and bustle!Thank you for providing such a wonderful experience! We truly enjoyed every moment in this beautiful cabin. The thoughtful amenities really made our stay special, especially the well-stocked kitchen with all the supplies and spices we needed. And oh my, the hot tub was just amazing! Having kayaks and a pedal boat available was such a fun bonus too. We couldn’t recommend this cabin more!

This place was everything we thought it would be!

We pulled onto the property and was instantly amazed by the view. We had 5 couples who get together every couple of years in different parts of the country to have fun and tell lies as we call it. The 5 guys are all Desert Storm buddies who served together. This place was everything the reviews said it was. You can have total peace on the waters edge or live it up a little and have no problems. We enjoyed the cabin and the water activities. Also was happy town was not far away with some friendly people. I could write all that we did or saw but it falls in line with all the other reviews. Bottom line this place is worth the trip I'm ranking it right up at the top of the places this group has stayed!

Best Thanksgiving trip ever

The property was even better than expected. We've been going on trips to the mountains for several years and this is easily the nicest place we've ever stayed. It actually sleeps the number of people the listing states, the boats are in excellent condition, the kitchen is well-appointed, and the hot tub is nice and big. It's also nice and secluded so you can enjoy peace and privacy while only being around 20 minutes from grocery stores.
