E had a great stay. The house was as advertised, very clean and easy to get to from town. It was nice touch that all the firewood was supplied. We will definitely be renting agian.

Another great stay !

This is such a nice home ! We just love everything about this Lake Glenville rental. View, dock, location, near marina and boat rental, comfort, amenities. A really lovely place to relax. We will definitely be back ! Can't wait !

Winter Getaway

Stayed at this charming home after Christmas through the New Year. Host even took the time to put up a Christmas tree for us! Although we didn’t get to take advantage of the beautiful lake and water activities, the view was incredible and fire pit was wonderful. Would definitely come back here again. Close to many restaurants, hiking, horseback riding, and more.

Carolina Charm

The house was very clean and kitchen well stocked with everything you would need. Great setup for indoor and outdoor fires with wood and firestarter provided. Neat house nestled in the trees with really good views. Kayaking to one of the islands or Falls is a lot of fun. The downstairs twin bed room has ambient heat/AC - no vents. Would def stay again.

earlly Fall, beautiful !

Our group stayed at this beautiful home a couple times this summer, and enjoyed so much, we booked again for late summer. We ended up having to push back our dates, so the trip became an early Fall trip. We all really enjoyed it some much again. The hosts make it so easy with everything, and if you need anything at all, they are very accessible & responsive. Will definitely be looking forward to our next visit to our favorite VRBO !!

Lake Glenville - wonderful lake house !

Our group of 4 had such a wonderful time at this amazing Lake Glenville home. The house is very comfortable, with nice amenities and plenty of space. Great kitchen! The views from the porch are amazing. Loved the porch swing and the views down the lake. We rented a boat from Signal Ridge Marina, which is in easy walking distance from the house, and could dock the boat at the house and take a break for lunch. Super convenient ! Can't say enough good about this amazing house. Will definitely be back !

Beautiful location on the lake. The house had a well-stocked kitchen for us to cook New Years dinner in. We enjoyed the fire pit and had plenty of wood to use. Our kids took out the kayaks even though it was winter! BUT it really wasn’t as big as the listing said. We had 11 people and it was very uncomfortable fitting us in the house. One of the king size beds is actually an air mattress. And we had to rearrange the living room to fit it in. On top of that, the bunk room is not insulated and had no direct heat so it was basically like camping on nights that got down to 20 degrees. Finally, the hot tub has seen better days with rust stains all over.

Unfortunately this guest did not read the listing accurately. This 5star property has one king size bed in the master. The other bed she is referring to is a double-sized pullout with an air mattress located in the lower living room 2. It is a red double sofa. The pictures and listing clearly show this. The bunk room on the lower level has an additional heater dedicated to it for guests to use in the colder months. All mountain homes run off wells that contain higher amounts of iron. This reacts with the bromide disinfectant in the hot tub to create iron oxide, a reddish hue that can leave stains in the tub. This is easily cleared away by adding vitamin C capsules to the water and running the pumps for an hour or so. The guest chose to never reach out to us with any questions or concerns throughout their three day stay. We only heard from them after they left so we could not remediate anything for them. We also had to file a $750 damage claim as their dog ruined a bedroom door and wood trim, it was obviously left there unattended and scratching to get out. Clearly I would not recommend this guest to any hosts out there.

Great Spot on Lake Glenville

We had a great stay with our family at this beautiful lake home. There was plenty of room for our family inside and the home/kitchen were very well stocked/equipped. The weather was beautiful and we spent a lot of our time outside taking advantage of the fire pit, pergola and dock soaking in the lake views. Our kids probably ate their weight in s’mores! The home is also within walking distance from Signal Ridge Marina and a short drive from one of our favorite restaurants- Happs Place. We rented a boat one day and explored waterfalls on the lake by boat. Beautiful. Erin was quick to respond and resolve anything that came up during our visit. We look forward to returning!!

Family Christmas Vacation

My husband and I came from Texas. Our son, his wife and two babies joined us from South Carolina. Carolina Charm is a cozy comfy home with everything we needed for Christmas week and preparing Christmas dinner. There was plenty of wood to keep the fireplace going. Plenty of room for us. I enjoyed the balcony off the master bedroom, for a little me time. I ordered A LOT of groceries from Ingels before we got there, then found the kitchen so well stocked that we didn’t need half of my order. We brought my two sweet dogs. i’m so thankful to the owners for allowing dogs. I can’t say enough good things.There are so many extras, perfect for summer months, which is why we want to come back summer 2025. There’s a newer, very nice boat dock, too. Thank you very much for making our Christmas extra special.

Lake Glenville stay, disappointed overall

Surprised to see construction going on at the property when we arrived. 12 day stay. Portapotty out front. Owner is building a two story addition that is not present in the photos. Workers were on the property working with compression nail guns and parking vehicles in front of the house 3 days. Photos are taken using a fish eye lens. The living area and kitchen is small. It says you can sleep 10-12 but we barely had enough living space for a family of 5. I have no clue how 10-12 people could stay and sleep at the house. Deck area needs to be blown off daily because of all the pine needles and spider webs. I do not recommend this property for anyone with ANY kind of mobility issues. Lots of narrow stair cases and it's very difficult to walk to the dock because there is not a safe pathway to walk. The rock stairs were covered with loose sand from the construction zone and the pathway only had loose mulch. It was very slippery. The fire pit was unusable because of all the loose sand that runs off from the construction. Owner has many of her personal items located in the house, this didn't bother us, but it was strange. You can tell it isn't rented out very often. The location is hard to get to because the road to the property is so steep. Gravel road to get to house, 4x4 helpful. The lake is lovely. We rented a boat for several days. The owner was nice and allowed us to use her standup paddle boards. Disappointed this property was rented to guests while under construction.
