Rustic, barn, and beachy feel type of townhouse. Gated community “ Gulf Highland Beach Resort”with 10 outdoor pools, Kids playground, tennis courts, mini golf, and private beach access and a pool on the beach. 5 minute walk to the beach and 1 mile radius to family attractions, nightlife, bars, all type of eatery and Super Walmart. The zoo is within 4 miles. Private patio that over look a canal with BBQ grill. fishing or feeding the turtles for the kids.

This VRBO had a great location, right across from the beach and in a gated community with polite neighbors. The condo was very spacious with a large kitchen and living room area. Rooms were a good size as well. The place was very clean and had a lot of kitchen supplies. Would definitely stay again!

Property and location was great. We had an issue with the nest for air conditioning. I called owner and he very willingly helped. Everything worked as it should and was a very comfortable stay.

Mixed Feelings!

Booking process and communication was fine , the owner even sent reminder email for payments due , which was appreciated. Check in process was good with all directions and steps to get into the property. First evening had issues with getting into the WiFi , but Owner was very helpful and resolved it . Major issue was the Air Conditioning we had issues with every evening except 1. It has a Nest Thermostat. The issue was we would set it to a set temperature in the morning and would leave to go to the beach , and would be expecting it to be a comfortable temperature several hours later , and it would be significantly higher and would take forever to cool down . I brought it to the attention of the owner , he said he would look into it . The very next day we set it at 70, went to the beach came back 5 hours later and it was set to 78 and showed actual temp of 84!! Brought it to the attention of the owner. , and he apologized that he was using the App for the Nest , and had accidentally hit a wrong setting. This was very troubling that he was doing this remotely. The Townhome overall was okay . Bedding is comfortable. But several this need to be replaced , repaired - wall paper peeling off in spots , spot on bathroom ceiling had peeled away . Bath fixtures are old . Closets have tons of clutter in them , vertical blinds in master were mismatched . Overall not bad but things need to be addressed and fixed and improved. Again not horrible place !!!

Beach property

Served its purpose. Missing lots of essentials, soap in the bathrooms, dishwasher detergent, paper towles, trash bags. Stay was good, but essentials would have been nice.

Great Vacation Option

The condo was well maintained and several amenities (beach cart, umbrella, cooler, etc) were provided by the owner. It was only a couple minute walk to the beach and was a great choice for our family. Although the Ocean conditions (double red flag the entire time) were not ideal, the complex contained multiple pools, tennis courts, and a miniature golf course.

Good potential, poor maintenance

Pretty good location, close enough to local attractions and the beach and had some nice extras (ex. Beach toys, chairs, cart, etc) but was missing some basic items like handsoap in the bathrooms, shampoo and body wash. The property also needed some good maintenance: missing sections of blinds, thermostat stuck at 65, toilet didnt flush without pulling the chain inside the tank, ceiling in bathroom falling down, the corner section of the sectional couch has a sink hole, and the carpets were dirty. The place has some good potential if properly cared for.
