RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.

Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #237 will have the option of temporary membership privileges, for a transfer fee, at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.

Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Hidden gem!

Steps to the beach and included towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. Staff was extremely nice and we enjoyed the joke of the day while checking in!

Silver Sands

Silver Sands is a classic Florida beachside condo complex. The property was clean and well run, with excellent proximity to the beach. It is a great option for family vacations.

Quiet paradise

Gorgeous sunsets and evenings on the beach. Night life is just down the road. Lovely landscaping. Old Florida feel. Perfect vacation for us to de-stress. Thanks Silver Sands! Exactly what we needed.

I did not complete this reservation, and yet I was charged!

Short Get Away

Silver Sands has the sweetest people, and they make your stay super enjoyable. This was my 3rd time to stay here. I had an efficiency that was perfection for one or two people. Parking is easy. Pool is great. Beach is the best. Unit was immaculate with everything you need. I was in an upstairs unit. Would stay here again. It’s a great place, communication is awesome, and in a beautiful place to visit.

Unhappy guests

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The photos and the description of the room when we booked were very misleading. We felt like we were staying at a rest stop along the Highway. The room was very close to the road where we could hear traffic all night. The kitchen area did not have a sink which reduced its utilization.

The overall experience was good! Margaret in the office was top notch! She was accommodating, attentive, pleasant, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. She’s a keeper!

Quiet Vaca on Longboat Key

The property was well kept and clean. We stayed in the efficiency unit. It was perfect for my 8 year old and myself. The beach was beautiful. It was clean, peaceful and safe to walk at night. Everyone at the property was very helpful and kind. It was like vacationing with a big family. We loved the saline pool and that we could walk right out our front door and be on the beach in a minute. We wished there was an ice machine, restaurant, and bar onsite. You definitely have to come prepared with your own food, drinks, cups, etc. We had a great time and plan to go back very soon.

Would definitely want a larger unit if the stay was longer for addition seating options while in room. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed walks on the beach which included chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. The staff was friendly and attentive. The location was perfect for a beach getaway.

Clean and comfortable small unit at a great location

It did not have a kitchen sink so washing dishes in the bathroom was a bit odd, but not that big of a deal.

Adequate room, good value

This unit is not luxurious, but it is priced right for the location. Don't stay here if you expect to spend a lot of time in the room as there is not really a comfortable place to sit, but do stay here if you want a convenient location, friendly staff and guests, and extremely close access to the gorgeous beaches of Longboat Key

Great location, spotlessly clean! Only issue was that there’s a connection door to another apartment that backnroght up to their kitchen table high made it a little Noisy when they were in kitchen late at night
