Spring Break

Property was great, not too crowded over spring break. This unit was nice with all the things we needed. Very spacious bedroom and bathroom areas. Beautiful views.

Pics don’t do it justice! Very spacious, easily accessible, and all around comfortable! Even parking was a breeze!

We loved how spacious the condo was, it fit our family of six perfectly. The views were spectacular could’ve used some updating a little bit of fresh paint toilet paper roll holders were broken. There was mold in the air vents. The bathtub was very stained. The floors were very dirty. After taking taking a shower and walking on the floor, our feet were black. There is no broom in the room closet to get up any dirt or sand.As far as the management property. They were not accommodating, they did not work well with me. We did not have bracelets to fit my group when we arrived so we had to request those, they did not leave us parking passes had to request those and didn’t get them till almost the day before we left. I just thought they could’ve been a lot more considerate and prompt and working out situations.

Fantastic Property!

This was the best vacation experience our family has had yet! The property itself is laid out beautifully, and it was perfect for my two teen daughters and myself. We couldn’t have asked for a better location (walking distance to everything we needed). The amenities at this location were amazing as well. With 3 different pools and hot tubs, a pool-side eatery with delicious food, and a room overlooking the beach, we couldn’t have asked for more. We were so pleased with our stay that I wish we could always book this property. It was a God-send that this place was open at the last minute, when a competing property management company with unethical practices almost ruined our vacay. Thanks to Vrbo, we were able to cancel that reservation (which I had booked a year in advance) and rebook here. This place was a better property with more amenities and closer to everything, so it all worked out for the best. Definitely book this property if it’s available and in your budget.

Disappointing

Overall, we love Long Beach Resort itself. This room, Tower II, room 904, not so much. When we arrived, close to midnight, our door facing cracked which had us questioning the security of the door while we slept. Not comfortable about our teenage daughter being in the room immediately to the right of the entrance, we kept a stool in front of the door and she slept with her bedroom door locked. However, we did text the 24 hour number and sent pictures to let them know about the facing and they submitted a work order. They were very responsive at that time and said someone would come to repair. The next day, I texted again asking for an eta on the repair. They told me they could not yet give me that information. Then, we went to breakfast and upon our return when we came back into the room, the facing came completely off and no longer were we able to lock the door. I called and spoke wirh someone who said they would complete a work order but again, could not give me an eta but would call me back. Did not receive a call back that day, granted it was a Saturday but at this point we could not leave our room because the door could not be locked at all. So, I visited the onsite association office in Tower I and they wree very responsive and sent their onsite maintenance to our room immediately to at least patch it enough to be able to lock our room. I didn’t hear back from Southern Vacation Rentals until Sunday afternoon at 12:57. Lots more to say but not enough characters left here
