From this house, you can be backpacking next to a glacier lake by lunch, viewing the Katmai bears by mid morning, or fishing for kings, cod, and halibut at dawn. It is only 5 miles from the well known Eagle River Nature Center, 20 minutes to Anchorage, and 40 minutes to Palmer/Wasilla.

The house is designed to accommodate multigenerational families, several family groups, and families with children as well as teens/young adult children. The separate basement apartment is perfect for in-laws or grandparents. The first floor master with its own sliding glass door to the deck is great for couples who want to relax. Finally, 4 bedrooms upstairs are configured in a 2 BR 1 bath and 2 BR 1 bath Jack and Jill design on each side of the common area. This arrangement is perfect for 2 families or older children want a more privacy. Even though the square footage is more than 5000 sq ft, the house flows quite nicely.
