The kitchen was very well stocked. The back deck was very inviting with comfortable furniture. We picked this one because it was pet friendly with a fenced yard. We ended up not bringing our dog, but next time we will.

This house was fantastic! Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, boat launch for kayaks, and fishing dock. Many memories were made and a wonderful vacation had! John was super communicative and the entire stay and process was smooth. Highly recommend.

This was by far the best day I've ever stayed in a vacation home. The property is beautiful right out by the lake and very well maintained. Anytime I message the host, he answered very very quickly. Would definitely stay there again!

A Stay — Highly Recommended!We had an excellent stay! The house was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with everything we needed. It truly felt like a place where you could settle in, relax, and enjoy yourself.The outdoor area made the stay even better—plenty of opportunity for fishing, grilling, relaxing, and simply enjoying time together. It was a great place to get away and make some memories.A special thank-you to John, the Host. He was outstanding—helpful, attentive, welcoming, and made sure everything was taken care of. Great hospitality from beginning to end.Beautiful place, excellent accommodations, and an excellent manager.A all the way around. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it!

The house was great, dock was nice to fish off of with green light for night fishing. Caught a ton of fish but mostly undersized drum, a few undersized trout on artificial, croaker, and only a couple hardheads surprisingly with dead shrimp. Boat ramp was nice to be able to put in and take out our kayaks. Quiet neighborhood, easy short drive to town to get supplies or visit restaurants and shops or beach. Fenced in backyard was great for our dog so we didn’t have to be worried about her getting into things on the dock or wandering off.

We've make multiple trips to the Rockport area over the years ... this was the best to-date. John was excellent in communicating with us from start to finish, responding to my inquiries within minutes. The property is just what we expected: pet-friendly (indoors and outdoors), private boat ramp to launch our boat, strategically located a few minutes away from HEB, fun fishing right off the private dock (we caught speckled sea trout, ladyfish, pin fish, and catfish), and well apportioned amenities - both digital and physical.Dining we enjoyed: Boilling Pot, Paradise Key Cafe, Gabriela's, Smokeshack, ...Activities we enjoyed: Yrip to Port Aransas and the island (it's only 30 minute drive), day on Rockport White Sand Beach or Aransas to Padre Island beaches, and fishing (guides are relatively inexpensive and provide great service). Lastly, take the time to enjoy the slower pace then what we experience day to day ... it's magic!

What a Magical review!! Even I learned a few things about were I should go eat. I hope Robert and his family make Cormorant Crossing a regular vacation spot.

Fun stay. The canal looks even better in person. King bed was great, master shower was great. Spending the evening on the is amazing. Tons of cool birds around. 10-15 mins from town, but having the canal makes it worth the drive.

Great house and location. Very spacious like described. We didn't catch any fish but great time trying on the dock. Kids enjoyed the kayaks. Great communication and easy check-in process.

Yes, John was very nice and communicated with us before we even got to the destination.The house was perfect for our stay. The view was great and the fishing was hit or miss. We were close to Rockport/Fulton where shopping and restaurants were many.

Cozy family retreat

Great cozy house for family get together. Lots of beach boutiques, very beautiful beaches, or just staying home and fishing was great too. Plenty of room for 5 adults, 2-10 yearolds and our dog. Would definitely stay here again!
