Partial week rentals opened up in June and July! Why consider a hotel when you can stay ON THE CHESAPEAKE BAY! Beach cottage on the Chesapeake Bay! Unlike other rentals at Silver Beach our beach is part of the property and not a “ community beach”. Private beach just steps from your front door swimming, sun bathing, fishing, kayaking/SUP, campfires, and more. Renovations include kitchen, flooring, interior, whole home water filtration, and more! Simple cottage with combined living/dining area, 2 bedrooms, sofa bed and bath. Full screened in porch facing the bay, deck on rear of property, outside shower, and gazebo overlooking beach. This property is cute & clean, it is a beach cottage not a luxury resort. The views and experience are amazing and will be enjoyed by couples & families alike! Weekly bookings Saturday to Saturday Late June/July/August. 2–4 night stays other months. Monthly/extended stay furnished rental November/February/March $99 a night and 40 % or more off when booking a month! Security cameras on front and rear of cottage. Please reach out with questions.

Beach Cottage

We truly enjoyed our stay in Exmore. The cottage was just enough for us and our 2 children. The beach and the water were clean and the sunsets were amazing. It was quiet and the location of about an hour from Chincoteague and Norfolk was great for day trips. We had a wonderful stay here.

Relaxing vacation

Excellent cottage in a quiet remote neighborhood in Exmore Va. It has its own beach on the bay with a pavilion for shade. Great screened in porch to watch the sunset every evening. We stayed for a week and had a great time. Highly Reccomend!

Perfect Getaway

This was a wonderful short vacation for us. The house is attractive and has everything that is needed for a comfortable stay. A perfect space for a couple. The area is also fun to explore....Chincoteague, Cape Charles, fun restaurants and wineries are all within easy reach. The water is beautiful and the white sandy beach very private. We really enjoyed the screened in porch as well as the awesome Adirondack rockers in the gazebo, just steps away from the beach. This was a very relaxing, enjoyable vacation spot.

Restful get away

We really liked the easy, restful, relaxing atmosphere. Quiet and very private beach area. Add to that the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, you cant do much better!

We had a wonderful vacation. We love the beach and location. The owner has thought of everything, from the Keureg, toiletries, beach chairs, and towels. We really enjoyed the screened in porch!

A little slice of heaven

This was our families 2nd time visiting this Silver Beach cottage and it was an amazing visit. All the upgrades that were made to the house were fantastic…just what it needed. We spent our days either fishing in the bay or enjoying the fabulous private beach. And spent our evenings relaxing and watching the sunset. We can’t wait to return!

A lovely cottage at the beach. Very clean, looked freshly renovated and very comfortable. Amazing view of the water. We sat on the couch and just enjoyed the sunset every night. Great screened in porch and a 1 minute walk to the beach. We really enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it was. Highly recommend!!

Place was better then advertised. Perfect spot for me and my 3 children. Beach was quiet, water was warm and calm, sand was nice. Close to many activities. Great vacation spot especially with kids.

Perfect Little Beach House

Perfect little “beach house” for our family. We couldn’t have asked for much more except a longer stay! The kids absolutely loved the beach and sand bar and the fishing was good too! A short drive from a few local places so it was really quiet. A short drive to Cape Charles too! We can’t wait to come back again!

Retreat

The cottage was a perfect get-away. The host was quickly responsive to our questions by text. For our stay in mid-October, it was like our own cozy world. The rooms are decorated in a beachy way, but there were plenty of blankets too. Kitchen was well-stocked, with full size stove and fridge. It was chilly, but the Bay was still beautiful, and sunsets filled the whole horizon. We even ate on the porch one night, at the full-sized table to watch as it went down

Family getaway

Perfect location for our quiet, relaxing family getaway! Making memories with my kids on the same beach I frequented as a child with my family. Beach access during high and low tide, delightful sandbars, amazing sunsets. The cottage is perfect for a small family, nicely updated, cozy, air conditioned (!), with a large screened in porch for family meals together and game night, an open air back deck for watching sunsets if the mosquitos aren't too bad. The outdoor shower makes for easy clean up after a day at the beach with kids. You won't regret staying here!

Silver beach

We enjoyed our stay at this small beach cottage on the bay. The house was as described and it was great to have the screened in porch for extra space for our family of 6. The host was very helpful with any questions we had and was always quick to respond! The beach and the calm bay waters were greatly enjoyed and we would definitely consider coming back again!

Beach Getaway

Awesome Get Away on the Bay!

What's not to LOVE about this property! Charming, cozy cottage; very comfortable; well organized kitchen with everything you'd need to cook if you'd like to stay in. We really enjoyed the quick access to the private beach...a 30 second walk away! The screened-in porch and outdoor shower are such wonderful features! Our host was very helpful and has truly prepared such an inviting place that all ages could appreciate. We'd gladly return! A great place to relax during any season!

Silver Beach Rocks!

Great location for young family members with sand and sun and terrific sunsets. No crowds and walking 1 minute from the back porch to the sand is fabulous. Your own private beach is hard to find. The host was extremely attentive; the cottage is inviting and feels like home. We will be back!

Great Getaway

The cottage was just as described. We had a peacefully relaxing week away from the maddening crowds. We were basically the only people around. The sunsets were very pretty. We enjoyed sitting on the beach, under the pavillion, and on the back porch. We saw lots of critters like dolphin or porpoises (not sure which they were). They would go up the coast early each morning. We also saw lots of fish, skates / rays, some jellyfishes, and hermit crabs. We would certainly recommend this cottage for those thay enjoy silence and solitude. Jenifer was very responsive (almost immedaitely) to any qjestions we had.

Beautiful Views

It was a great cabin that was perfect for the 4 of us. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and watching the boats go by. Beautiful views. My only suggestion would be to add a hose to rinse the sand off after coming back from the beach. Also, the outdoor shower is nice, but warm water would be a plus. A couple of the blinds were busted, which allowed the monsters to see in, but that's an easy fix. Otherwise, everything else was perfect and we had a wonderful week and will certainly be back.

Sunset Paradise!

We so enjoyed our “baycation” at Silver Beach on the Eastern Shore! This sweet cottage has its own stretch of beach with gorgeous sunsets, gazebo, screened porch with new furniture, 2 decks and a central location on the Eastern Shore. From here, we could explore towns both north & south, as well as the little towns along both the bay and ocean side. Jennifer has put great thought into her home and all the amenities that she is providing for her guests.(Much more than some OBX rentals I have stayed in!!) The beach area is smooth, clean and the water is shallow. Houses are spread out behind the dune area so you can walk and feel you are the only ones there! Can't say enough about the breathtaking sunsets. This is a very special home!
