Adirondack Lakefront Getaway-Newly renovated, fireplace, gameroom, close to Gore

Welcome to Pine Cove! A beautiful, newly renovated house directly on Lake Algonquin. Delight in all the Adirondacks has to offer from the tranquil and scenic town of Wells.

You’ll enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views, fireplace, game room, fully equipped kitchen, 5 bedrooms and 2 full baths, Weber Genesis barbecue just outside the kitchen, stone firepit overlooking lake.

In the summer enjoy kayaking (three kayaks and one canoe available to guests), fishing and swimming in the lake. Hiking and waterfalls nearby.

Winter time cozy up by the indoor fireplace. If you’re looking for adventure enjoy ice fishing, snow mobiling (rentals nearby), snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snow tubing and skiing at Oak Mountain (15 minutes away) or Gore Mountain (30 minutes away). (Back deck/bbq may not be accessible during winter months dependent on snow fall.)

Enjoy hiking year round including nearby waterfalls. Spend a day at the Saratoga horse races open from June-October (1 hour away).

In the fall enjoy the breathtaking foliage of the Adirondacks.

Perfect option for stays with family and friends

Pine Cove was exactly as described online. The house was clean and well equipped. Having kayaks and a canoe available added to the fun during the day. At night we enjoyed time around the campfire. It was just right for our family get-together.

This property was perfect for our entire family! We had 6 adults and 4 children in the house and there were enough bedrooms for all. The kids absolutely loved the game room and we made good use of all the boats and tubes. Would highly recommend!!

Lovely stay

As advertised and better! Close to other properties but placement makes it private. Great firepit, outside dining, boats. Family of 9 and didn't feel crowded. Kitchen really well stocked. Communication with host was great!

Classic ADK weekend

The house worked out perfectly for us, with plenty of space indoors when it was raining during the first part of our long weekend. Awesome view of the lake even when foggy and cloudy. Easy access to great hikes which we did both days, followed by kayaking in Lake Algonquin, and even a little swimming! Everything inside and outside the house was as described, and the host was very responsive. We enjoyed our visit!

A Wonderful Getaway

Our group of nine had a wonderful time staying here! It's hard to overstate how well-stocked this house is with everyday items that make life easier. The host answered all of our questions very promptly and we are definitely considering a return for our summer vacation next year.

Perfect family retreat

Our family had such a wonderful time. The house is in the perfect setting, immaculate with super comfy beds and all the kitchen supplies a large family could hope for. Loved our complimentary bottle of wine and the board games. We can’t wait to go back- and really didn’t want to leave!

Great getaway spot

The house was absolutely perfect. The layout is super conducive for a family get together, very open and comfortable. We seemed to have the lake to ourselves during our stay which was just an additional treat. Getting around the lake and to the little convenient stores is super easy and safe. Can’t say enough good about this property!

Great House for Group Gathering

Perfect Location

My friends and I had a great stay. This house is gorgeous and very clean. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. The access to the lake is great and there are kayaks and a canoe available to use. There are plenty of games to play if the weather is not great.
