Spend your days kayaking, fishing, swimming, or relaxing on the private dock. Gather around the fire pit in the evenings, enjoy your morning coffee on the lakefront deck, and take in the breathtaking views of Lake Murray. Best of all, you're just minutes from some of Lake Murray's favorite destinations. Miss Grace Cottage is located less than 2 miles from Martin's Landing Marina, Bar & Grill, and Na'cho Margarita. Whether arriving by car or boat, guests can enjoy waterfront dining, live music, marina services, and fuel just minutes away before returning to the peace and privacy of their lakeside retreat.

Upstairs, you'll find a cozy queen bedroom with a large walk-in closet and full bathroom. The fully equipped kitchen features newly renovated finishes and appliances and opens to a bright Florida room with additional seating, bar space, and panoramic lake views. Just outside, enjoy the lakefront deck and a grill overlooking the water.

The lower level features a spacious living area with a Smart TV, kitchenette, full bathroom, and direct access to the waterfront. This flexible space includes a high-quality queen Murphy bed and a queen sleeper sofa, providing comfortable accommodations for additional guests.

Easily accessed. Host was good about communication. The lake was too low for our boat to pull up to the dock. The dogs loved the yard.

No major concerns. A few spiderwebs lingering around some of the ceiling areas. Going outside to the decks after dark was a fight with the flying bugs/knats (maybe because it rained). Overall, we enjoyed it. Would recommend it to others!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at this property. It was clean and had everything we needed and more! Check in was a breeze and the host was extremely helpful and provided us with an entire list of landings, and restaurants in the area upon our arrival. Would definitely recommend and I look forward to staying here again the future!

This is such a cute place from the decor to the outdoor area!! We had such a great time here. We brought our 2 pups and they had a blast as well. The communication was great with the host even giving us ideas on what to do and events happening. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

This property is awesome. Simple but modern. It's super dog friendly. Our dog really enjoyed watching the squirrels, deer, ducks and geese. The lake is beautiful and really adds to the peacefulness of this house. The host is very quick to respond to our needs and willing to assist if needed. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for peaceful weekend away!

What a lovely sunlit newly-renovated place on Lake Murray to spend a weekend near Columbia, starting with the personalized note and bottle of wine left by the host. The space was impeccable and just adorable. There were just two of us, but it would easily be perfect for a family or girls’ getaway. In addition to the master bedroom with its own dressing room and en suite bathroom, there is a pull-out sofa on the lower level, which has a bathroom & kitchen that is also convenient to walking outside through the French doors.The upper level has a really peaceful, bright sunporch overlooking the property with a view of the lake. The kitchen amenities were terrific and had everything we needed for cooking in one night. There were ample towels and toiletries. The AC was amazing, but the outdoor deck was a highlight to enjoy coffee or just sit. We also enjoyed kayaking — and just sitting on the dock one afternoon to watch the turtles and heron. This space is also a nice 25 minute drive from historic Newberry (try Figaro!) and 17 minutes from Chapin (loved the Chop House!), where you can find many grocery stores, etc. We also really enjoyed Martin’s Landing, a fun restaurant overlooking the lake, about 6 minutes away. And about 30 minutes away was the wonderful Liberty on the Lake, where we enjoyed great live music and a terrific view, in Irbo. Columbia, which we were visiting for USC parents weekend, was about 50 minutes away. Communication with the host was excellent!

Lake Murray Quiet Cove House

This place was amazing, beautiful views, kayaks, enough accommodations to support guests upstairs and downstairs. Clean and updated with utmost cottage appeal. We will be returning and would highly recommend this cottage, host and house were perfect!!

Great house with big water views

We loved our stay at Miss Grace. We had a great time fishing and swimming from the dock. The house had everything we needed and the owners were great to work with and responded quickly if we had any questions. We will definitely come back!!!

Nice location

The house was clean and stayed cool while it was very hot outside. It was nice to have the boat dock to keep our boat right there and the boat ramp for getting on the lake was just 5 minutes away. I would really like to have more furniture for lounging in the house and a table to eat together and play games.

Peaceful wooded setting with a great lake view.

The newly remodeled home was the perfect location for our stay. Everything was fantastic. We were able to enjoy the kayaks on the lake, using the dock located on the property. We relaxed by the fire pit on moon lit night. Our host went above and beyond making sure we had everything we needed and was responsive to our questions. We would highly recommend staying at this location.

Nothing Short of Amazing

In all, our stay was amazing. Very clean, simplistic and beautiful views. You have everything you need to accommodate you and the open concept/multi-level space worked well for us. We docked our boat at the personal dock and our son enjoyed swimming. Overall, we would highly recommend this space for a couple looking for a getaway or a small family. We will definitely be back as time allows!

Highly recommend - perfect vacation spot

The house was exactly as described. The home was immaculate and smelled lovely. The bed was comfy with nice soft sheets. The kitchen had all new appliances and was beautifully organized. The area was quiet, with a nice dock and a flat yard. We stay at VRBO rentals a lot, and this is by far the nicest we have stayed at. It truly is like being at home. I have nothing negative to say about this property except wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be back.

Lake Murray Getaway

Fun, quick getaway for wife’s bday. House was clean and had nice access to lake. Shallow dock as lake was down about a foot. No bot ramp but rented from local marina and kept overnight. Not a lot of common sitting area and spiral staircase was difficult to navigate. Each room has its own AC unit. And our small dog was able to join as well. Will stay again.

Peaceful Getaway!

We had an amazing time at this VRBO!! It was the first time down to Lake Murray, we have family there but had not yet made the trip down to visit. This location was absolutely perfect. We had a family gathering at our Aunt's home about 1.5 miles away, so we were able to spend time with them, then go back "home" and have some peace and quiet. It was just the 3 of us, but we spent time sunbathing on the dock during the day and watching the wildlife (ducks, turtle, fish, and birds). Everything is updated in this home. The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen is huge. Each morning we woke up and had coffee on the back deck overlooking the beautiful lake. We will definately be back! Thank you so much!

We had a great trip to the South. The house was very clean and very well stock with what we needed for the week. We were hoping for the weather to be better, but rest and relaxation was great. My new dog absolutely loved being outside everyday to gather nuts and whatever else she could find. We would definitely rent this place again.
