Here is a list of reasons why you should consider booking this unit:

1) The view from this unit is breathtaking not to mention that you can see the ocean and mountains without stepping out of the unit. You can see it while you are in the kitchen or in the living room.

3) One of Maui's best beaches (Charley Young/ Kamaole 1 beach) is just across the street. Our unit is located in building 1 which is closest to the beach (but this unit does not face South Kihei Rd.)

4) We have a local property management company (Maui Condo and Home) to take care of our guest needs or emergencies.

5) The unit is equipped with beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, and a cooler for your day at the beach. We also have tennis rackets for you to use.

6) We respond quickly to inquiries and are very easy to deal with.

7) The main bedroom has a comfortable bed with 4 inch memory foam topper, ceiling fan and mirrored closet doors.

8) The kitchen is equipped with all your cooking needs, has clean granite counter tops and the living room has a 47 inch LCD TV.

The condo is located on the 4th floor in the most popular building #1, steps to the beach!! Being on the 4th floor, it has breathtaking ocean and mountain views as well.

Affordable stay in good location

Property was okay. It wasn’t the cleanest condo ever but we made due. The location was good and half a mile to the organic grocery store and half a mile to the food truck oasis. Property had a few pools that were good and the beach was right across the street. It wasn’t expensive so I’d say you get what you pay for but it wasn’t over the top nice.

Poorly Managed and disgusting Unit

This property has a 3rd party management company. When arriving we had to check in with security. no bid deal there but it is one person and we had to wait over 45 minutes. At that point we called them back and asked what the eta was. once we got to our room and unloading our cart kids of other guests were attempting to steal my food and alcohol from my cart with their dad present. This property is mostly rentals and one security for this property is not enough. The condition of the unit is severely neglected. There are small insects infesting the ceiling in the kitchen and stove area, mold and mildew in the bathrooms, every plug/Light switch, baseboard..etc covered in dust, bedroom AC/dehumidifier broken, paint on walls is disgusting and unit was obviously barely cleaned prior to our arrival, AC unit in the main area does not cool the loft or the bedroom, closet in bedroom is haphazardly stuffed with owner supplies and not useable, hallway closet stuffed with beach toys and supplies that fall out when door is opened....i could go on and on. Its a shame as the unit layout and location are great. The owner clearly has gotten their money worth out of the rental and milking every penny out of it. I would not recommend this unit or any other unit Managed by this company to anyone. We are looking to expand our California company to maui and all future trips will not be here.

Relaxing stay in Kihei

The apartment is cozy and comfortable within walking distance to the beach, shopping and dining areas. It was clean and well-equipped.

Wonderful Location

Our family of 4 loved our stay here. The loft area was perfect for our kids, complete with its own bathroom. The location of the condo was wonderful. We walked to the beach for sunset every night. We would stay here again.

Perfect location

Perfect location. Cute condo for the family. Easy check in. Owners very easy to work with. Could use a deep clean. Was dried blood on bathroom cabinet and hair on shower wall from last visitors. Overall I would stay there again.

Great location

Clean, great location, updated kitchen and bathroom. The owners need to come and eliminate broken and unnecessary items. The closet had way too many linings and no place to hang clothes. The bedroom needs an overhead light- I used my phone’s flashlight to locate items!

Military style check in

We have been coming to Maui for 40 years and the check in here SUCKED HARD. The security guard seemed like he really wanted to be in charge as his tone of voice about the 4 oclock checkin exaxtly at 4pm and demanding an answer about parking between the lines. And smoking only in designated area and no weed smoking. I told him i dont smoke and Mahalo. I will never stay here again those 2 security guards need a life. The shaved head 40 year old white male and im busy looking at my phone. And the other older filipino demanding an answer about parking between lines. Maybe loosen your man bun so your not such an A** hole. The lady security guard was more the speed visitors are greeted with Aloha...

Great location, simple & clean environment

Had a great time staying here with two other girlfriends for 7 days. Communication was easy and fast. Thank you for such a great place and ease of checking out/in. Liked not having a key to remember to bring with us. The rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed and more. Two bathrooms were great for the three of us. We had rented a car but the beach was so close you really didn't need one if you stayed local your entire trip. Thanks again

Location Great

Location was great and the unit set up was good. The only issue we had was the linens in the pull out couch were filthy and the replacements were also dirty in the closet. When you arrive after 4 PM (check in time) it’s frustrating to have to do laundry. Otherwise it was good.

Great location. Close to beach.

Our extended family of 13 booked this place, and 3 others in the same complex. We booked 13 months ago, and are really grateful for how we were all pretty close to each others’ places, and to the beach, as well as walking distance to restaurants, Foodland and the bike rental place (Boss Frogs). Our condo stayed cool with fans and/or air conditioning, thought the main bedroom didn’t ever completely cool down, but it was bearable. There were lots of towels for home and beach, though it would be nice to have a couple more full size beach towels. We used the snorkels and chairs every day to go to Charlie’s Beach. There was a good selections of glasses, and enough cups and plates for all. The stove could be updated but it was clean. There are enough pots and bowls. We purchased a couple containers for leftovers, as there were none in the place. The beds are ok but we didn’t think there was a memory foam on the main bed, and the upstairs beds worked, but also could have a memory foam or something on them. There are lots of pillows, though a bit flat so we doubled up. Overall, the description of the place is accurate, the host is extremely responsive and we would definitely stay here again.

Great stay

Great stay at this property. -Very close to Charlie Young beach & walking distance to the main parts of Kihei. -The 3 pools were often empty for us to take our pick. -Having the washer and dryer in the unit was a game changer. -correspondence with the owners was very quick and they answered any questions

Great family time

This was the first trip with our blended family 3 adult children and 1 teen. The location was fabulous. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurant. Everyone had a wonderful time. It was a great bonus to have beach chairs and boogie boards available for our use. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Great Place to Stay

The condo is super convenient to the beach, shopping and restaurants all within walking distance. The condo is comfortable. And has a lot of beach equipment we used and was helpful to mot to have to buy or rent. A couple of suggestions would be to get A/C in the master bedroom because even with the 1 unit in the living room running it is still warm. Also the kitchen needs pot holders and a baking sheet. All other utensils were provided. The washer and dryer came in really handy after beach days. Overall it was a great place to stay.

Great time!

It was perfect for our family size, two kids and two adults. The loft upstairs with the bathroom was perfect for our boys. The only downfall was in the downstairs bedroom, it would get a little warm at night due to no AC. Also, the ceiling fan was not working in the bedroom. Overall, it was good! We enjoyed it!

Thanks for a nice stay

Excellent location. Condo acceptable, though a bit dated. No surprises, as condo condition was true to pictures and description. Overall it was exactly as we expected and we had a very pleasant stay. We recommend it for budget minded travelers as it was a very good value.

Good Value

Good value property that provides everything you need and more. The property features, ample parking, multiple pools, elevators to reach upper levels, good variety of TV channels, good views from front room and balcony. What’s missing or could make it better. TV’s in Master bedroom and possibly upstairs. Layout map of property, we went to the wrong pool the first couple times wondering why our key wouldn’t work, other guest let us in. After a couple days we went to security and advised them of our inoperative pool key only to find out we had a much closer pool that our key did fit. I guess as a final comment I would say we would stay again.

I wouldn’t stay here

I have stayed in many VRBOs and this one was by far the worst. Upon check in we got into the condo and it was filthy. Dirty on the base board and the walls. I swept the kitchen and there were chips and popcorn from the previous guest. Towels were supposed to be clean were full of green crusty gunk. I ended up spending my first afternoon and evening in Maui was towels and cleaning the condo. The kitchen faucet was about to fall off so we had to call the property management company to fix it. Then there cockroaches so we had to call them again. They came 2 days later and set traps and they day before we were going to leave they called and offered to send a cleaning person to clean our room. After we were already there for 5 days. The Maui Vista is a nice complex and we had family stay in a different Condo so we hung out there most of our trip. I would not stay here again. I would definitely book a different condo in the Maui Vista complex. I did communicate with the own about our cleaning fee. I was told they were working on it but 2 weeks later and I still haven’t heard anything.
