2 Bedroom, Corner Condo 20 Steps from the Beach... Oceanfront!

A touch of Old Hawaii...this charming, comfortable, up-to-date, 2 bedroom corner condo is located on the ground floor of the two story 12 unit Pikake Condominiums in Honokowai. No long treks from the parking lot... our parking is close to our front door. The beach and ocean are just 20 steps from the back door (lanai) for swimming and snorkeling.

The view from the lanai is stunning... you can see Molokai, Lanai and beautiful sunsets to say nothing of the sea turtles, dolphins, and of course the humpback whales during late winter/spring. We are nestled between the resort complexes of Ka'anapali and Kapalua, not far from Lahaina, so every possible activity, sightseeing, shopping, restaurant is within your reach. Honokowai Beach park is within walking distance and has a nice playground for the kids.

The beauty of the condo is you can go enjoy all the activities at the resorts but can return to the condo to get away from the hustle and bustle. There are not many of these sorts of places around and we would love to share it with you. We're just the right size for a family or two couples and even honeymooners!

Our occupancy is 6 including babies and small children. A daily penalty will apply if exceeded. Smoking is only allowed in the designated smoking area. If you smoke or vape elsewhere there will be a significant charge applied to your rental.

Wow!

Stayed a week with my sisters and we thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Loved the proximity to the water and the fact that we were in a less touristy area. The public beach is just a short drive up the street with plenty of free parking as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Loved everything about this place. It was the perfect fit for our family of 5. Oceanfront view & literally steps from the water. Short drive to everywhere we needed to go. Lots of eating options in the area. Owner responded quickly. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous location small complex nicely furnished fully stocked kitchen great little beach ideal for a couple or a couple with two young kids.No air conditioning just Island breezes. Old school and relaxing.

It is the perfect place to stay when on Maui. The ocean is right there, the kitchen is well equipped and labeled :) and there’s plenty of restaurants in walking distance.

The most ideal spot on Maui.

There is no denying Maui is one spot in the world many consider a slice of heaven on earth. What makes the island so much sweeter and special is Amy’s unit in Pikake – a little home away from home in paradise. Sure, there are many unique accommodations on the island that make similar claims, but after 4 trips to Maui, scouring nearly every unit on the west side, I have settled on Amy’s Pikake unit as my place of stay for the following reasons: -West side less rain -Unlike other ads that claim beach front property this is literally beach front property -12 units from pikake and maybe another dozen from the adjacent building sharing a small private beach that is enclosed. -Very little traffic on the private beach, every day for 10 days we had the beach to ourselves at some point in the day. -Ground floor which makes it accessible to the beach especially for children that need to use the washroom or get a snack -Turtles live in the rock formations/coral directly in front of the unit. You will without a doubt see turtles several times a day. -Unit itself is clean and well stocked with everything you possibly need. -One of few units that have two rooms with the ability to accommodate for 6 people Pikake offers something magical for our family that cannot be beat. We highly recommend Amy’s pikake unit.

Fantastic view great beach

The views are stunning. You are right on the water with a sandy beach out front. The only thing missing was a couple beach towels (which the description let us know) and beach chairs. The location is the best. Quiet and close to everything you need.

Beautiful, well appointed condo.

Our seven-day stay was very comfortable. Kitchen had a full selection of working appliances, and well-marked cabinets full of kitchenware, plates, bowls and dishes. The condo is adjacent (as in 15 feet) to small beach area. Each day we saw a different face of the ocean and nearby Molokai and Lanai Islands. If we return to Maui, we'll book the condo again.

Amazing!

Amy’s place is a little piece of paradise on Maui. We loved our stay and can’t wait to return. Had a few minor things but communication with Amy was great! We enjoyed watching the turtles and humpbacks from the condo almost everyday.

Beautiful and peaceful

We had a lovely stay. We watched the amazing sunsets every night. We watched the turtles play in the reefs just off shore The week we were there, two turtles beached themselves right infront of our condo. It's a little piece of paradise.

Turtles just steps away from the lanai

So far the best VRBO I have stayed in on Maui! From the second you walk in you will see unobstructed ocean views. Walk 20 ft and you will see turtles of all sizes swimming in the ocean with daily surprises on the beach. Reminder DON’T touch the turtles! We enjoyed this location so much we stayed the majority of our vacation in place. You can walk to the store and local farmer’s market. We enjoyed the quiet serenity of this magical location. I can’t wait to come back again and again!

Fantastic Views

We loved our stay here! You cannot beat the location. I walked out on the thick, fluffy green grass every morning to drink coffee and watch sea turtles in the waves. The whole place is well equipped with everything you might need during your stay. We would book this spot again. Thank you!

A wonderful condo option!

Pay attention to these backyard photos! It was every bit of what is shown! We loved stepping right out of the unit to enjoy sunset, snorkeling and seeing the turtles. We loved the location of this unit on the property for privacy as well. Thank you too for the beach towels and beach gear! We closed the screen door at night which made for the living room where our son slept to be warmest. Another more powerful portable fan in that room would be aces. The manager offered to refund us to purchase one, so Amy was helpful there, but given the length of our trip, we didn’t see that thru. The master was much better cooled with open windows at night. Overall, it’s a great location for enjoying Kapalua down to Lahaina. Everyone staying at Pikake was so nice and Amy, the manager, was super accommodating and responsive! Highly recommend!

Awesome Place

This is quite a hidden gem. Our family had an amazing time swimming and seeing turtles everyday right in the ocean in front of us. The sunsets were amazing every night with the concha shell blowing that the kids enjoyed. The only dislike was with having the windows open-you can hear the loud street traffic and neighbors at the complex next door! Great place tho! Thanks for sharing this with us for our vacation.

Another fabulous stay in Honokowai!

Such a wondeful spot, small town feel but close to Lahaina. Saw sea turtles, whales, birds, butterflies...beautiful! Clean condo, nice kitchen and outdoor space steps from the beach - can't wait to go back next year!

Amazing location

What are the most comfortable places I've stayed. We got to snorkel with turtles right in front of the condo. Everything about this condo is amazing. Highly recommended for your maui vacation.

A little piece of heaven

The location of this condo couldn’t have been better for our family. The small community of Honokowai was quaint with smaller restaurants and markets. It felt tucked away from the crowds of Kaanapali but was only a 10 minute drive to Whalers Village, and about a 15 minute drive to Lahaina town and Honolua Bay (such good snorkeling- go early, don’t let the crowds/parking scare you it truly was an experience). The beach in front of the property is small but it’s perfect for swimming and snorkeling. We only went to another beach once because we had everything we needed within steps of the back door. Turtles arrived everyday at and around high tide to feast on the reefs. Coffee on the Lanai every morning was my favorite activity along with laying out on the loungers. The condo itself was nice. It was really hard to keep sand out of the condo despite cleaning your feet before going in. The rug outside needed to be swept after a day or so of being there. If you don’t like the gritty feel of sand on your feet you’ll likely find yourself sweeping multiple times a day. At sundown all the neighbors blew on their conch shells and that was a fun nightly tradition. This condo has three so each kiddo had their own. Overall such a great vacation for the entire family. We can’t wait to come back to the Pikake… many Mahalos for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!

Incredible stay

This place is an absolute gem. Main floor, you walk out on your grassy lawn and there is the beach! We saw an abundance of wildlife, turtles every day stunning themselves on our beach, whales, stingray, fishies, salamanders, and even a sandbar shark! The place had every single thing you could want for. Was clean and comfy. We will be back! Amy was an amazing host, super responsive and helpful.
